@Joe Manini, We are now in the process of migration from Pagerduty to Operations, so articles to come.

You need to go into admin.atlassian.com and Grant access to the new ID for Studio

Never Split the difference. Changed my life. Best book ever, second only to the Holy Bible.

You think that is bad. Try being a Professional services partner. I am org admin of about 100 different sites and get innundated with John wants to try..., and Jane was added to... I probably get 30 a day, EVERYDAY. What happens is after the engagement is over they do not remove us from the systems, and unfortuneately in…

Thank you @SilkeS

@Sara_Schneider I wish I could. Again it is from a previous employers ID I had. Since I am no longer at the company, I no longer have login ability to the ID which is required to link IDs. Even though I direct mention my personal ID as an author, I cannot seem to get credit for it. Here is an example.…

Thank you. Note: I have published several articles, but they were under my previous employers IDs. I will start publishing everything under my personal ID.
-
As an admin for over a decade I personally have not needed to go down to the second, what would help me more would be be able to specify multiple ranges with an OR.
-
Hi SilkeS, I have a couple of old accounts from previous companies I worked atthat I have written articles and the like that I would like to have credit for on my account. Since I no longer work at these companies I cannot log in to link the accounts. Is there anyway to either change the ownership of these or link thme to…

To allow both internal and external customers to access the customer support portal in Jira Service Management, while ensuring external customers only see the customer support portal (and not the full list of all portals) when navigating backwards, you need to carefully configure customer permissions and portal visibility.…

@Michael Yaroshefsky - Visor for Jira Connect with me (LinkedIn) or other and maybe we can get a demo of your plugin? I am with a platnium professional services partner and we recommend and configure apps all the time.

You may have to look the user up by email. That is the correct view to add users. If this is an LDAP group you cannot add member to them. Can you try to create a new group and see if you can add the users to it?
-
Managed accounts and groups are different. When you've claimed your domain in Atlassian Access/Guard and the user accounts become managed accounts, that gives you visibility and control. That is connected to something like LDAP. From there the only way to add users to an LDAP group is through LDAP. You can create a new…

You may Give the App Jira Hierarchy from Adaptavist a try. It would not necessarily allow you to visualize the structure/dependency, but may help to build it by using multiple internal hierarchies. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220574/hierarchy-for-jira-custom-issue-structure-tree-view

I would look at the properities in the status transition for jira.permission.comment.denied Many people do this intentionally as they would prepfer once the ticket is closed that the customer simply open a new ticket.
-
HI @Fabian Lim , I did look out in the marketplace, and did find that one; however I do need cloud. I found nothing else so I posted here to see if anyone know of anything.
-
Yeah I read through all those doc prior to asking, and could not find the way to "move" other than delete and recreate. Thanks.
-
Appreciate it. I am no longer with that company, but still good thanks!
-
Sorry I received 0 responses so we ended up just using Confluence to create a manual roadmap. Not a good solution at all as it is all manual, but it was the only thing. (BTW the ID that asked and the ID that answered are the same person.)
-
-
We will just use confluence, not ideal but no other choice.
-
Found the answer, it is public links: https://confluence.atlassian.com/ge/public-links-979425312.html

Hi @Bridget I was an author with my work ID and am no longer at that company. Can I get Author permission from my personal ID here? I have sent a request from the apply here tab. and FYI this was my first article, I believe the next one will be better too :)…
-
I think there is an approval process to be able to write articles and I now longer have access to my old ID I was doing it under and cannot remember how I got the permission in the first place.
-
Of course this did not work for the "child issues". I would love to still get a solution for that.
-
I found a solution. Through Adaptavist scriptrunner copy field value works perfectly. I copy the Parent Link to a text field and it even maintains the link in the copy. Solved!!!
-
Actually it appears SR does this. All good.

On the cloud the users are located in id.atlassian.cloud. If you are using an Onprem Server or DC version you can have your ids in many places. So you said on the cloud if from Jira SD you "gg" > users management (gg is a short cut to get a admin type actions) you should be able to see the different users and from there…

There is a plugin called "Create on Transition" that makes that operation easy, Is that what you are using or are you trying to just use groovy?
-
Hi Ste, Yes I thought of that but really do not want to create a custom field. Really I just want a simpler solution like a single select list. Just be able to "disable" a priority, but that is not there either... Seems simple enough to add, just wonder if anyone had any fancy groovy code, javascript, or something in cloud…
