My training so far has been pretty brief: JWM-specific * Summary tab * Different views (List, Board, Calendar, Timeline) * Project Pages * Forms Team-Managed * Specifying project access * Creating issue types * Creating Custom Fields (and searching for existing ones) * Maintaining workflows * Automation Rules I'll probably…

Good ideas on the periodical reviews of projects - never would have thought the automation rules would pose an issue! I'll keep this in mind. Have your teams using team-managed projects gotten better at managing them with your periodic reviews?
-
Keep me posted if anything changes and I'll do the same! But yea a couple of concerns that I've noticed: * Not enough people at the company understand how Jira works or how it's managed...yet * Teams keep asking if there's a way to manage more of their own configurations at the project level - when they keep asking me to…

Hello @icalvelo and welcome to the Community! If your field is a user or group picker field, you can add that field in your notification scheme by selecting the "User Picker Custom Field" option or the "Group Picker Custom Field Option" and that will send notifications to users in that custom field whenever the event…

Hello @Caroline Lesoing and welcome to the Community! Based on my understanding of you questions: * Confluence does offer export functionality so you wouldn't lose your data unexpectedly: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/export-content-to-word-pdf-html-and-xml/ * This isn't currently available through…

Hello @Loretta Brunette is this also true for Jira Service Management? That JWM will not be included with JSM anymore?
-
Also, when is Atlassian going to produce movies and TV shows about Teamistry! I feel like we're not far away (much closer now after this season).

While episode 5 was kathartic (got my feelings out), ep 6 centered me with an honest discussion of what would be next. I was briefly angry at the fact that economics eventually won over innovation but at the same time optimistic about the fact that imperfect human beings can come together across various demographics to…

Man alive this episode gave me all the feels. I'm echoing the emotional sentiments shared above. Unfortunately I was in elementary when this happened so I remember coverage about 9/11 but not about the concorde crash, so it was eye opening to hear how closely these events happened to each other. I'm also not a very…

Wow, even though there wasn't much spoken of regarding the development of the Concorde in this episode, I was still captivated by the external factors and perceptions that changed as a result of the initial successful flights! * Experiencing the engineering feat firsthand. To me, Concorde is the celebrity, if Taylor Swift…
-
Ep 3 is still keeping my interest! * Healthy competition is good - key word is "healthy." Unfortunately, the line is often frayed or meandering between healthy v. unhealthy - that's why instilling core values and getting to an agreement in how teams operate is important to establish beforehand! At my work place not at a…

:backaway: I am not getting the meaning behind the emojis :( haha but I'll have my trees go to Brazil please!! Also, I loved this challenge because I discovered more parts about the community that I otherwise wouldn't have taken the time to read, so in a way it was a scavenger hunt for me - thank you! And I love these…

Not responding for swag obviously but enjoying the discussion: * I prefer bottoms-up project management (team-managed eh) because I've been in situations where teams are not empowered to make decisions on their own yet individuals are expected to contribute towards the greater good of the team. Feels like a conflict…

Hmm I'm not seeing the part where the ask was the assignee was empty, I think your first screenshot was correct?

Wow can't believe I just stumbled into this! 1. I know of the Concorde program (a mild avGeek) but never had the opportunity to fly in one (maybe Boom Supersonic will get off the ground and I'll experience it!) 2. Having an outside, neutral party may help to facilitate conversations between cultures (at least at the…

Hello @Murughesh Awati and welcome to the community! Closest I've found is this: https://www.rightstar.com/products/rightstar-products/rightstar-scanstar/. Hope this helps

Signed up for trying out the virtual agent - the feature I'm heavily excited about!
-
This will make standing up content easier for JSM teams! Awesome :D
-
Looking forward to those filter optimizations - wonder what's in store there!
-
#1 is the big kicker for me and the standout feature of JWM
-
This was really awesome to read - I always look forward to seeing Nigeria's ACE updates in the community slack! Also, ditto on the "answer 5 questions before bed" goal - but for me I find myself having to read like 10 or 20 posts before I come across one that needs an answer I can provide. I especially liked that you make…

I took this course and can say that it was very useful for me and shifted my thinking in going from a "Wild West" perspective to a more mature perspective.

Just signed up. Been drooling over this since Atlassian purchased Percept.ai, looking forward to seeing it in action outside of Atlassian!
-
Hello @Chris Wiggins and welcome to the Community! Currently not possible. If you're looking to have customers have read-only access and view the page hierarchy (that's not available in the portal when viewing articles), then you'll have to convert the customers to Atlassian accounts and give them either a regular…

Woohoo this is awesome thank you for including this! And I second @Curt Holley's suggestion!
-
Hello @gdakas You are doing the right things: * Make sure the custom field is available for use within the JWM project * Add the field to the screen that is used in the screen scheme's "Create Issue" operation of the issue type screen scheme used by the project Are you trying to add a custom field type that is currently…

Hello @Eugen Varasteanu the documentation that Joseph provided wouldn't apply to the assetit application you mentioned above. You'd have to peruse through Assetit's documentation to figure that out. Maybe this link will help you? https://docs.devsamurai.com/assetit/custom-fields

Hello @Lisa Garrett and welcome to the community! Feel free to shoot our ACE Chapter an email here and I'll do my best to help!
-
Nice! I'm looking forward to hearing more about the future of team-managed projects and feature parity with company-managed projects as well!

Hello @Alek Sinn and welcome to the Community! Unfortunately this is not currently possible with Jira. My guess is that since every issue is required to have an issue type and summary - those fields are prioritized on the left-side first, ensuring that the view is consistent on the left side. Hope this helps
