Yes, you'll need to look in the app documentation. If you have trouble finding a clear answer, don't hesitate to contact the support team of the app (the contact information is listed on the app page of the Marketplace).

You can publish information from a Jira issue, including comments, to Confluence using the app Elements Publish to Confluence (fyi, I work for the vendor). Currently the app can be triggered manually when a user wants to create a page (for example when a support agent finishes writing the troubleshooting steps), or…

Hi @Ivan Andrieiev I imagine what you mean is that you have added apps to Jira, and you want to know if you can limit who can use some/all of the apps. If that is correct, the answer is it depends: each app is available in different ways/places and may or may not have ways to limit who can trigger or use the app. You will…

Sorry Ankit, I don't have the list of APIs. Have you tried going through this page https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/intro/ ?
-
Hi @Ankit Rastogi Have you gone through all the steps listed here https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/use-the-confluence-cloud-migration-assistant-to-migrate/ ?

Hi @Destiny Porter , Welcome to Community. Could you confirm whether you mean an internal note on a Jira issue (maybe a request on a support portal?) or if you mean a note on a Confluence page? Thanks!
-
Hi @Liz Rollet Just tried to reproduce what you described, and I think I ran into the same problem. Have you tried creating a version of the template without the expand? It seems to be some kind of display problem with the expand.
-
Second the inline comments. Really useful to match your comment with some of the content on the page (instead of having to describe "the second sentence in the 3rd section....")
-
Thanks for the compliment!

Hi @Colm Maguire What about using the create from template macro on a parent page? It won't hide the "Create" option in the top menu, but if people already navigate to a parent page to add child pages, having a button on the page "Create new page" could be effective.

Happy to see you found Elements Connect @Ricardo_Gomes If you didn't find it, I posted an article on how you can use Elements Connect to query the Jira REST API to populate fields. If you have any questions while you're testing it, or need some help, don't hesitate to contact the Elements support team:…

Hi @kumar jira Here's what the Atlassian pricing page says "Purchase the license tier that matches the number of users you have licensed for your host product. For example, if you have a 25-user Confluence license, purchase the Confluence app at the 25-user tier. The app will only function if its license matches or exceeds…

If you click on the 3 dots on the top right of your Confluence page to open an action menu, you can see the list of attachments for the page, and get a URL for each attachment. BUT, In many cases, what you need in your Word document could probably be created directly as a Confluence page, and then exported as a Word…

Hi @Yacob welcome to Community. Could you provide some more details about the kind of file on your Confluence page that you want to link/display in your Jira issue?
-
Hi @Juan Carlos Cavero Gracia That's a great question and use case you should submit for the AMA (Ask me anything) we are hosting with the Elements Connect Product Managers May 24th. You can leave your questions and access the registration link…

Hi @Darquise Leblanc To build on @John Funk 's answer, I would start with asking the marketing team some more questions: * Do they need to pass off campaign preparation to multiple different team members, say from a content team to a designer to an approver? Does the team need to know which campaigns are currently waiting…

Hello @Waqar Mustafa , Have you looked at ProForma? The app was acquired by Atlassian and is now natively included in JSM cloud, which could be useful if you migrate in the near future.
-
Templates are pre-formated pages, but you can enter data and even modify the elements of the page (like delete part of the template you don't need) when you are in edit mode. Once you publish a page and are looking at it, the interaction is limited: you can activate some table sorting, open or close an expand macro.... But…

Hi @Peter Gagne welcome to Community. Could you provide a screen capture of what it looks like when you are trying to edit the page?

Hi @ggoldenb Have you raised a request with the Elements support team? They will be happy to help you if you contact them here: https://support.elements-apps.com/portal

Hi @Albert Salgiriev I'm not sure on how adding favorites to new users can work, but what about using the Space Shortcuts in the left-hand navigation panel? You can add links to different important pages. If you have important pages that are nested under multiple parent pages, adding a Space Shortcut could be a simple way…

Hi @Melissa Liu welcome to Community. You haven't indicated whether your Jira is on premise (Server/Data Center) or Cloud, but if your company has recently started using Jira I'm going to assume you're on Cloud. There are a couple ways you could do this. If you want this to be done automatically, you could try with…

Hi @Aadhar Lamichhane According to this website, there hasn't been a release since 2017, so the app appears to no longer be maintained. A quick search of the Marketplace shows nothing, which means there's no way to add the app to a cloud instance. The javalibs page says the app "allows you to run code in the future". Do…

Hi @Ieva Semen What about creating a child page for each translation, and display the text/page to be translated using the Excerpt or Include page macro? You can then use the Child pages macro on the parent page to automatically list all the translations.
-
Welcome @[deleted] Could you describe a bit more what kind of information you have in your fields (and I assume they are custom fields you have created)?
-
@John Walker Welcome! My two tips would be * If possible, start with getting just one team using Jira and Confluence (not easy if your start up has people wearing lots of hats). There will be less to configure in Jira and Confluence, fewer people asking questions, and you'll be able to adjust things for this smaller group…

So happy to have been accepted as a community leader 🥰. I look forward to getting to know everyone better.

Hello @Mohammed Siyad Have you taken a look at Elements Copy & Sync? You can configure an operation to create a new issue under your epic, and set up a field mapping that pre-populates the issue with details from the epic. And since it's from the same vendor as Connect, the fields are compatible. (For info, I work for…

Are you on the latest version of Confluence and Jira Server? Apps haven't been called plugins for a while, so it might be some older modules. RB Supplier is not listed on the Marketplace, so I'm going to assume it was retired a while ago. If you feel like you're getting in over your head, you might want to contact a…

Hi @Joseph Dorshefski That sounds like a need that might be better met by Jira since Jira issues are automatically created with a unique issue key and you can configure workflow statuses to track progress. You could then display Jira issues on a Confluence page using the Jira macro in order to see the current status of the…
