Hi @Trevor Deane , Another option would be to integrate Google Tag Manager into your Confluence site (using Scroll Viewport for example). You can then track events like clicks/downloads and see the data in Google Analytics.

Thanks for the recommendation @Jack Brickey @Himanshu NandaIf you want to test out Elements Connect, you can try our free demo portal to see what it looks like to populate custom fields from various data sources. We have several different use cases set up, including fetching data from Salesforce and Hubspot CRMs. You just…

Hi, I'm going to assume you mean clone or duplicate an issue and not an issue type since attachments and comments would be with an issue. Elements is just about to release a Jira Cloud version of the app Elements Copy & Sync which lets you copy issues, including fields, attachments, and comments. To be notified of the app…

Hi, I think your suggestion better matches with the way Jira is set up. For a marketing team, I would imagine Epics like New website, Rebranding, New product launch, or other large projects. You can also create Epics for things like "Q1 Content Strategy" if you need to attach regular marketing tasks like social media…

Thanks for the details on your use case. The app Elements Connect currently allows you to populate fields on Jira Service Desk cloud with data from Postgre SQL databases, but your datasource is not yet available. You can watch the app from the Marketplace to get updates, like new datasources. If you want to get an idea for…

Hi @Hari H could you provide some more details about your central SQL database? For example, is it a Postgre SQL database?

@Aiden MarriottThanks for the recommendation. nFeed is now called Elements Connect. @Preston WardenYou can connect your Access Database to a custom field with Elements Connect in two steps: * Download and install a JDBC driver for Access * Configure a JNDI datasource in the Elements Connect admin To get some practice…

Like Simon mentioned, there are multiple ways to set this up. I'm on the team at Elements, and for our app Elements Copy & Sync, we wrote a tutorial on how you can set up an automatic onboarding process with multiple issues for Jira Server. You can try apps for free for 30 days, so you can test them out to decide which one…

Thanks for suggesting Elements Connect @Hernan Halabi - Elite IT Consulting Group The Cloud version does not yet support csv files like the Server version, but the development team is collecting feedback from beta users to prioritize datasources to add.

You can use resolutiondate >= startOfDay() This tip and some others on queues are in this blog post: https://blog.valiantys.com/en/guest/5-quick-tips-for-queues-in-jira-service-desk-cloud/

Glad you found our app @Magraner We wrote one of our use cases for Elements Copy & Sync almost exactly like your situation. If you run into any problems configuring your operation, don't hesitate to contact the support team.

@Rick Measham, I don't know if you are looking to add custom colors to table cells, but the add-on my team makes Elements Spreadsheet would allow you to create custom colors in cells on Cloud. I posted an article here on Community to show how it works.

Hello @Harry Bob , You could create somethings that looks very similar using the app Elements Checklist on your JSD portal (one of the apps my team makes). You can create a checklist that works like a form, with multiple columns and different options like select lists, date, number, text, or even calculated attributes.…

The Cloud version is not yet available on the Marketplace, but you can sign up to get updates…
-

-
Hi @Amruta Pelapkar Many companies will choose to go with what you describe in option 1 since it allows different teams to work on different projects and makes it easier to manage changes, since a workflow or screen change for one project won't accidentally impact the work of a different team. To make this process easy,…
-
Hi @Gil Our app Elements Copy & Sync would allow you to do that by creating custom copy settings to copy specific fields, comments, and/or attachments. The Cloud version is not yet available on the Marketplace, but if you want to be notified when it is, you can sign up here: https://copy-sync-cloud.elements-apps.com/

Hi @David Kon You can add the Component field to the create issue screen, and even make it a required field to make sure new issues will appear in the right board. Modifying the screens where fields are visible needs to be done by the Jira Admin, so in case that's no you, you'll need to make a request.

Great questions @Jean-François RIOU * Checkboxes are not mandatory with Elements Checklist. Each Checklist you create can use your unique combination and ordering of the available attributes: Date, Select list, Component, Single line text, multi-line text, calculated attribute.... All of the available attributes and…
-
Hello @Jean-François RIOU You could achieve this with the app Elements Checklist. I made up a quick example of what it could look like with 3 columns. You can set the names of all the 50 docs as part of a template, as well as the Version number, or you could leave it to be filled in by the person creating the issue. In any…

Hello @Alexandr "Avey" If you would like your Connect field to appear in the section "People", you need to create a field of type "Live User", and similarly if you want it to appear in the section "Date", you need to create a field of type "Live Date" or "Live Datetime". Note that you can only store certain kinds of data…

Hi @Steven Rhodes How are you maintaining the values in your custom field drop down? A couple hundred values seems like a lot to just be managed from your custom field configuration.
