@Monica Joseph Here is the documentation for how to set up queues: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/triage-customer-requests-for-your-agents-with-queues/ Being familiar with JQL will be helpful for that, and you might be interested in this free course to learn…

Hi @Monica Joseph Have you tried creating a queue?

Hi @Nancy Katunick welcome to Community! You can get a link to each heading when consulting the page from the published view. If you want an easy way to jump to a section further down the page, the Table of Contents macro is pretty helpful too.

Can you check that in the search/filter settings that the subtask issue type is selected as well? Can you also check that the person testing the filter does indeed have subtasks assigned to them? Since you say you're using a blank template, do you have different issues created?
-
Hi @Prajjwal Pawar welcome to Community! Just to be clear, you would like to see a list of tasks and subtasks assigned to the same person? You can do that from the basic search but checking the issue types you need and then selecting the user. The basic search uses drop down fields, so no need to use JQL. I would encourage…

Hi @Jason Li Ting Chung Elements Connect should be able to help you with that. It works by querying a datasource (including the Jira API) and displaying the results in a connected item. You could configure a first field to select the employee, and then a dependent field that displays details. If only the agent needs the…

Thanks for the mention @Jeroen Poismans ! I see you're on Cloud @Jarosław Kaczmarek , so for issues that are already linked where you would like to synchronize information between them (like comments), you can see how to do it with Elements Copy & Sync Synchronization recipes…
-
@Kelly Wehbi , you could maintain your list in Airtable (or another tool like GoogleDocs or Sharepoint), and then populate your select list from there.

Hi Neno, Welcome to Community! It sounds like Elements Connect could be a good fit for you (FYI, I work for the company behind the app). Elements Connect queries external data, like an API, to display the data in your Jira issues. You'll need to check on the authentication method your API requires (read which ones are…

Hi @Kelly Wehbi , If this is for requests on JSM, you could achieve something pretty close with Elements Connect by storing the new options as issues in another project and fetching the options from the Jira API (check out this article to get a preview of the idea). If an option doesn't exist, a new issue can easily be…

Hi @CC You can adjust the permission schemes to prevent people from having permissions to create issues in certain projects. Check out this discussion for more details.

Ok, and you want these drop down lists to be in a table, or would this be in text that could be anyway (not necessarily in a table)?
-
Hi @andrew_pass , Just to be clear before making a suggestion, are you using Forms (FKA ProForma), or a regular JSM form?
-
Hi @Marc Olmos Oms Welcome to Community! It looks like you need to install a helper app. Have you tried that already? You might also want to contact the support team at Xray.
-
Hi @Anuj It's not clear if your questions concerns Jira or Confluence. Could you confirm where you want this template to appear? Are you trying to add a table to a Confluence page with pre-populated select lists?
-
Hello @Ravi Begari Welcome to community! It looks like you are on Confluence Cloud, but OBR files are for apps on premise hosting (Server or Data Center). If you are trying to add an app, have you tried going through the menu option 'Apps' from Confluence?
-
Hi @Lomthandazo Ziyanda Gumpo Welcome to Community! You mention templates and pages, which are not exactly the same thing in Confluence. Are you trying to edit a template from the space settings? Or are you creating a page from a template, and would like to edit the template? It might be helpful to add a screenshot to…

Hi @Stanley MSc. Welcome to Community! Three ideas I can suggest: * Include excerpt macro: display the tasks from the previous meeting in the new meeting notes, without actually copying them, just displaying them from the page where they were created * Task report macro * Re-use the same page for notes, adding new notes to…

Hi @Soroush_Heydarian Welcome to Community! You could provide a link to a version of a page (click on the 3 dots to open the menu and find the page history), but only the last version is actually published. Your need is probably best met by an app like Scroll Documents.

Hi @Soporte Atl My first reaction is that Trello would be a better tool for individuals looking for flexibility to keep track of their own work. But off the top of my head, here are a couple questions that come to mind: * would a generic workflow work for everyone? * will everyone use the same fields? or if someone doesn't…

Hi @RASHEENA.LEE That seems to match what is explained in Atlassian's migration guide: https://www.atlassian.com/migration/plan/data-center-guide#migrate-non-clustered Don't forget you'll need to update any app licenses you have as well as your Jira license.

Hello @Likhitha Kosanam , If you are testing Elements Connect, a good to place to get started is with the Getting Started Guide. Once you have your datasource configured and are familiar with the admin, you can follow the tutorial for configuring dependent select lists. If you run into any problems while trying to…
-
Hi @Ari Fellman , Just to make sure I understand your use case, you both save/keep each meeting minutes page AND copy the minutes from the previous page (which potentially gets longer and longer). I'm curious why the meeting minutes from previous meetings can't remain on their pages but need to be added to the most recent…

Hi @Vivian Richter welcome to Community! I would say the best practice to avoid merge conflicts is to not disable collaborative editing. That way, people can see in real time what someone else is editing. Is there a particular reason you have disabled collaborative editing on your instance? That might help understand your…

Hi @BrianMc , I interviewed the CTO at Olive Communications (since acquired and name has changed) that provided managed services for cloud communications, and this testimonial covers a large part of their set up (as well as a focus on the apps from the company I work for). Hopefully it can give you some…

Thanks for the mention @Piet Pieters @Zachary Singh If you decide to try Elements Copy & Sync and run into any problems, don't hesitate to contact our support team.

Hi @Adrian Bridges welcome to Community! You can save attachements like a PPT or an Excel sheet to a Confluence page, but they won't be updated if you change them elsewhere (like on your Sharepoint). Can you describe your use case a bit more? For example, why would adding the content from the powerpoint or Excel directly…

Hi @[deleted] and welcome to Community! Could you provide a screen capture (you can blur any sensitive text) to show what keeps moving for you? I'm not sure I understand what keeps moving for you.

Hi @Lia Mack I see in the list of free Atlassian training there's a webinar intro to Advanced Roadmaps; that plus the other free resources could be a good place for you and your colleagues to start to learn some of the basics in Jira (like JQL) that will make your life a lot easier. Good luck! (You got this 💪)

Hi @rajiv_gupta If you're open to trying an app, Elements Publish could meet your needs. The app allows you to publish information from a Jira issue to Confluence, and even synchronize updates if the Jira issue changes. This would allow you to make the information searchable as a Confluence page, which provide a similar…
