Hi @Sofia V. Nielsen By any chance, could your pictures have identical file names? If you upload a file with the same file name as an existing attached picture, Confluence won't add -1 or -2 to the additional attachment.

Hi @Josh Dunnagan Welcome to Community! You mention that this is for your technical support team: where are they getting the error information from? For example, are they copying details from bugs that have been raised on your support portal? Or maybe just identified in a Jira software project?

Hi @Aadhar Lamichhane Welcome to Community. For a first stop, I would recommend checking out all the resources in the Migration Center: https://www.atlassian.com/migration You will need to assess each app independently, to see if the vendor provides a Cloud version, if the Cloud version provides the same feature set you…

Hi @Arlan , This is possible with the app Elements Copy & Sync (full disclosure: I work for the vendor making the app). You can create an operation to create multiple issues (subtasks for example) and you can specify that the issues should be created from a checklist custom field, with the text from each item in the…

Hi @Candy Tricia Khohliwe Can you share some details of what your current automation rule is? It's hard to suggest a fix without knowing what's currently configured since there are lots of options with Automation.

My colleague just shared that her kids served their dad a tea with salt this morning, and I think it's a well dosed prank: surprising, not harmful, and easy to do. In my husband's family, it has become lore the one time my brother in law, a young computer science student cira 1998, created a program that launched at…

@Rose Eliff There's a really good book that goes in depth about how to reframe problems: "What's Your Problem: To Solve Your Toughest Problems, Change the Problems You Solve" by Thomas Wedell-Wedellsborg. In the first few pages it lays out the situation of a slow elevator in a building that people are complaining about.…

Hi @Himanshu Tiwary Sounds like you might have an automation rule that is running to automatically assign tickets. You can check to see if there are automation rules for your project by looking at Project Settings > Automation.

Hi @Yendapally , I'm with the team behind Elements Connect, not Scriptrunner (made by Adaptavist) so I won't be able to help you with a groovy script. If you need help configuring your datasource with Elements Connect, don't hesitate to contact our support team: https://support.elements-apps.com/portal
-
Hi @Maksim_Feshchanka , just to update my answer from last May, you can now fetch data from a number of REST API datasources with Elements Connect for cloud. You can read more about how to configure the datasources on our product documentation.
-
Bit of a bummer, but at least it's no longer a mystery.
-
Thanks for the recommendation @Andy Gladstone ! @Erik Mathijs As mentioned, you can configure which (if any) of the tabs of your spreadsheet are displayed on the Confluence page with Elements Spreadsheet. To be transparent, Elements Spreadsheet doesn't do everything Excel does, but since you mention not wanting your users…

Thanks for the mention @Mohamed Benziane Nfeed is now called Elements Connect. @Yendapally If you want to get an idea of how Elements Connect works and see examples of getting data from REST APIs, check out the getting started guide or our demo portal.

Hi Victor, In Jira, individual issues have statuses, not projects. But you mention a GANTT, which would be an app since there's no native Gantt feature in Jira. Do you know which app you are using on your Jira?
-
If you have permissions to edit workflows, click on the transition from Done to In progress, and you should see a properties panel. From the properties panel you can add a post function.
-
Hi @[deleted] Welcome to Community. It sounds like you need to clear your resolution field when you transition the issue from Done back to in progress. Check out this documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/clear-the-resolution-field-when-an-issue-is-reopened-in-jira-server-648381467.html

@Sobhy Admin Atlassian is ending the possibility to "buy once, forever" with the sunsetting of Server hosting. Both Cloud and Data Center hosting for Jira are subscription services, and you have to pay each year (or each month on Cloud if your billing is set up like that).

Hi @Anton Zabolockii What result are you expecting when you integrate JSM with amoCRM? Do you want a JSM ticket to be created following a conversation with amoCRM? Or data from amoCRM to be available in a JSM request? Or something else?

Hi @Sobhy Admin Have you seen this resource? https://www.atlassian.com/migration/assess/calculate-pricing

Hi @Pramodh M , What doesn't affect? If the app link shouldn't have any effect, why isn't the Jira Report working? On the App link troubleshooting guide for the question "8. Are your users still prompted to log in even though you've set up an application link?" the documentation says I should use 2 legged-OAuth…

Thanks for mentioning Elements Publish to Confluence @Anand Inamdar_Amoeboids Just to clarify what the app does: you can take data from a Jira issue (fields, attachments, labels) and insert them onto a Confluence page you create. This works as one issue published to one page. The app however does not take data from…

Hi Ulrika, Jira Software, Jira Work Management, and Jira Service Management can be thought of like different flavors of Jira. They all share some core features, but then are each specialized for different types of work: JWM for business teams, JSW for software teams, and JSM for support desk teams. You will need to…

Great topic @Nikki Zavadska _Appfire_ This makes me think of a colleague at a former job who canceled her participation in some training on data analysis with Excel.... because she's was way too busy doing her work on Excel. If she had taken the time away from the "urgent" tasks to improve her skills on Excel (the…
-
Thanks for the tip @Kelly Pallanti I think back to the job I left, and it checked all four hazards! I was in a position where the work I ended up doing was fairly different from the original job description, what I did didn't impact my colleagues, and I was basically an island in the organization with no clear objectives.…

We do this with our weekly marketing meeting, and the host of the week starts off with sharing something: a recent project success, something learned, a cool resource, or a question they want to discuss with the team. In addition to being an opportunity to be center stage just by leading the meeting, sharing something lets…

Hi @Michelle , Check out this resource for how to set up an Automation rule to automatically assign an issue: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library/auto-assign If you want to be able to decide/confirm the assignee when creating the linked issue (versus setting up a rule with Automation) and…

Links: there are by default 4 different types of links, although your instance could have custom ones. (Check out this Community discussion). Just to clarify, you link by selected the link type "Blocks"? You should see something like this Permissions: Has your admin tried the Permission helper to see if you have link…
-
Hi @[deleted] Welcome to Community! A couple things that might help understand your situation: -How exactly are the issues linked? You mentioned the service request blocking your Jira issue, but then also your Jira issue being displayed in the support portal as blocking. Normally one issue will have a link "blocks" and the…

Hi @FBMT admin , Currently Atlassian offers Data Residency in US, EU, or Australia. The roadmap for future countries currently lists Canada, UK, and Japan. You can see the time estimates and details here: https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/cloud?category=dataManagement&

Hi @Lloyd Ramsamy , If you go to User Management (click on the gear next to your avatar in the upper right corner), then filter Products by Jira Service Management, you should see how many people are counted as agents on your instance. You can modify access from there. Note that while paid plans allow you to give browse…
