If the server is behind your firewall, then yes it can be.
-
Yes - do it all the time with the JSU app. You have to specify From Parent to Issue in Transition (Must be Sub-Task) See screen shot below:
-
Have your reporter go to their profile and make sure they have the preference to be notified of their own changes. A lot of the times, this is defaulted to 'Do Not Notify Me' - which you would then not receive notifications on changes you make.

Like John said. If you want the field to show up on the screen with a red asterisk (marking it as required), then make it required in the field configuration. Creating a validation to check if the field is populated will allow you to create custom error messages
-
Yes it is. You can go to Confluence Admin --> Custom HTML and edit. you can see more on how to populate with HTML code here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-add-a-site-wide-banner-165609599.html

You can definitely integrate chat applications with JIRA cloud to build out your ChatOps capabilities. i.e. Jira cloud can integrate with Slack. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/use-jira-cloud-for-slack/ https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216863/jira-cloud-for-slack-official?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

I am sure it is possible but is that part of your business process to allow that? You would need to check your JIRA projects permission scheme and see what users/project roles/groups have the 'transition issues' permission.

I have been working remote for close to 19 years now. I love it. The one problem I had when I first started was not knowing when to shut it down for the day. The computer was right there. I would work through the day, have dinner and then hop right back on because it was so easy to keep going. This definitely started…

I don't know much about Asana, but a quick look at the integrations for that application seems to indicate that a JIRA Cloud instance would be necessary. https://asana.com/guide/help/api/jira If confirmed, that would direct you to that as your platform. Pricing normally would be $10/month for a team your size but I believe…

That is the right location - what do you see when you go to Look and Feel?
-
Do you have scriptrunner? If so, you can easily to that via behaviors. https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/behaviours-overview.html

Because I LOVE having Atlassians participate!
-
I am advocating certifications to our user groups. Would you guys be open to doing a virtual session with us for best practices, tips, to get to certifications?
-
Are they developing a certification for OpsGenie?
-
You can use the Elements Connect API in scriptrunner. Documented here: https://doc.elements-apps.com/elements-connect/latest/api-guide/java-api/scriptrunner-use-elements-connect-api-in-a-script

Atlassian has a knowledge base article on the differences between JSD cloud/server you can reference. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-service-desk-evaluator-resources/jira-service-desk-what-are-the-feature-differences-between-server-and-cloud

For those of us on prem looking to go to Data Center this was some good stuffs!! A ton of features around Performance/Scale and Response/Compliance. Being able to not have to deploy to a cluster initially (updated license in your server instance) is awesome. Integrated CI/CD support for Bitbucket FTW!!!
-
I love the SWAGs!!! Usually get my years worth of t-shirts and cool stuff to distribute to my ACE members.
-
I suspect the Atlassian gremlins are having a little April fools at our expense
-
a lot of times it can be memory related. Can you perform a garbage cleanup and see if that helps?
-
Sweet - I got Giant's Causeway! :)
-
add the calendar powerup to your board. You will then have a 'calendar' button at the top of your board that will allow you to toggle between swimlane and calendar views.
-
Are your installation and home directories separate? They need to be separate. i.e. Installation directory = C:\Atlassian\Confluence Home Directory = C:\Atlassian\ApplicationData\Confluence

If you have not done so yet, try making pizza on your Egg - it is awesome!. Brisket - man I could write a book on that cut of meat. I have probably screwed it up every way possible. I can now bang them out pretty consistently but like anything it took practice. Several different techniques you can use - hot n fast, low n…
