@Benjamin , you're right, Jira Align API is a shared component for both cloud and self-hosted deployments, and there are no differences among them. @AutomationUIUser, the Help Center article at Getting started with the REST API 2.0 is your starting point for all things related to Jira Align API. Further documentation can…

Hi @Dominique Greene you can also wanna use REST API to get a list of dependencies a given user created. You can make a GET call towards /align/api/2/Dependencies endpoint and filter by createdBy property. Here's an example using cURL: curl -X 'GET' \…

@Eric Salerno , the rationale behind Jira Align REST API is that your bearer token is as good as your user in the UI, meaning that whatever your user can do in the UI will be allowed to your bearer token via API. If your user can't browse to Programs in the UI, then your bearer token won't be allowed as well.

The Automation field in the Story work item slide-out is disabled by default. So, should you want to work with it, you must first enable it via Details Panels Settings, where you can define whether it's required or not. Aside from that, from the API standpoint, find below the valid values and their representation in the…

In fact, there was a GitHub Connector, back in the early days of Jira Align. However, since it had not been sold for a while, and there were no active customers using it for years, it was discontinued and removed from the product code base.

Hi @Tara Ricard thanks for reaching out. Typically, Atlassian Support for Jira Align is unable to provide any sort of user management services (e.g. user profile adjustments, access grants, etc) to end-users. Please reach out to your Jira Align instance Administrator for assistance on that case. If you happen to be the…

Hi @Chris Cheah the following query will likely satisfy your need: curl -X GET 'https://instance.jiraalign.com/rest/align/api/2/Objectives?$select=id&filter=featureIds%2Fany%28d%3A%20d%20eq%20557%29' -H 'accept: */*' -H 'Authorization: bearer MyObfuscatedToken' The teardown is as follows: * $select=id -- this parameter…

Equivalently, the same principle can be applied to the Features endpoint. Making a GET call towards it, along with a filter for the parentID -- matching the Capability of interest -- will return all IDs of the related features. curl -X GET…

The correct syntax for the isTimeTracking parameter is: isTimeTracking eq 1 * 1 = true * 0 = false A functional cURL call is demonstrated below: curl -X GET "https://instance.jiraalign.com/rest/align/api/2/Users?filter=isTimeTracking%20eq%201" -H "accept: application/json;odata.metadata=minimal;odata.streaming=true" -H…

In addition to the manual workaround previously shared, if you're an Enterprise Insights customer, you can use the below query to return the userID and other relevant information for all active users that haven't logged into Jira Align in the past 90 days. SELECT u.[Username] as 'userID', u.[First Name] as 'First Name',…

Hi @Vincent Delannoy your assumption is right, user accounts are meant for individual usage and can't be shared by a group of people. The Product Specific Terms page refers to Atlassian Cloud Terms of Service, which states the following: 2.5. Credentials. You must require that all End Users keep their user IDs and…

Hi @Jayme Burkhalter , thanks for your question. Some users agree that the experience would be better with an additional feature to be able to view and rank backlogs of only incomplete work (not viewing any of the completed work as it is done). This however, is not how the product was designed. The product was designed to…
