Hiya @Paul Rinnert Short answer, no. However, we do know this kind of control is something that is needed for some Confluence users. We've heard that this control would be useful at the space or instance level. As we make improvements to this feature, this is definitely something we will keep in mind.

You are correct, @Roel Thys The placeholder link feature doesn't work in templates, yet. The team understands the need, and discussions are happening. More info when we have it. ~Traci

Hi again @Sarah Moens Your comment about using placeholder links in templates just hit me. Placeholder links can't be added to templates right now. The team chose to rollout the basic functionality sooner rather than later and build on the additional characteristics, like adding links from the toolbar and slash command.…

@Sarah Moens and @Patrick O_Malley - The blog is published weekly on Mondays. You can watch the blog so that you'll get notified when a new one is posted.

Hi @Sarah Moens Community posts are used to let you know that new feature is coming. To find out when the actual rollout starts, you should check the https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/blog. The rollout started the week of July 20th. If you are curious about the ETA for your site or more specific information about the…

@Kajsa and @abhishek.madhu - It's rare that a cloud feature is turned on for all sites at the same time. Atlassian takes a more cautious approach when rolling out features; low complexity sites get a feature first, and it rolls out to other sites after that. The blog announces when the rollout starts. You are following the…
-
Hiya @[deleted] The sticky headers feature started rolling out last week. You should be getting it soon.
-
@Patrick O_Malley (and others who are interested) The rollout of the feature will happen in the next few weeks. If you watch the Atlassian Cloud blog, you'll get alerted when the weekly blog is published. When the rollout starts, you'll see an entry for the feature. Your site will get the feature after the description hits…

@Rob Noble When the placeholder link is selected, the new page is created as a child of the page with the placeholder. However, the author has the chance to move the page before it is published or closed to create a draft.

Small yet mighty change! Regarding the syntax of the link, adding the empty parentheses after the brackets was a clear way to indicate that the text between the brackets is meant to be an undefined, placeholder link rather than just text between brackets. Since there may be some good reason to format text this way in your…

Hiya @Vicky Weber . We have heard the feedback and understand how important that capability is. Rather than just duplicating how we did it before, we are working to make it better. The details are firming up, and we'll update you as ASAP.

Along with the improvements to tables as @Brittany Sudlow mentioned, we understand the need to improve our lists and how they work. Discussions have started about the scope of work to be tackled. Don't have any details yet, but we'll share those with you as soon as they are more firm.

Hiya @Almonzer Eskandar It's Traci from the Confluence product team. The Confluence Cloud product documentation has been updated to reference the improved top navigation. Keep in mind that the Space navigation is still in the same place on the left side. There are a lot of pages of content, so there is a chance I could…

Hi All, It's Traci from the Confluence product team. You can remove the existing gadgets if you'd like, but "Any existing instances of these gadgets will still work." The deprecation, which will happen on May 14th, will only remove the ability to insert new instance of those gadgets. (cc: @Samuel Valdez

Hi Bob, Screen rotation must have been an unwelcome surprise! You are experiencing this behavior due to an Intel graphic driver. The shortcuts documented work properly when that driver isn’t installed. Hope this helps, Traci

Hi Bob. It's a keen eye that can tell that those pages don't look like the average Confluence page. As Fabian mentioned, we use Confluence plus the K15t Viewport app. Why did we make that choice? Atlassian uses Confluence to create and collaborate on our product documentation and a Scroll Viewport app to allow us to…

Hiya Fabian. I'm glad you found the updated roadmap useful. When the ability to convert pages is ready for you, there will be a page that details what happens to page elements. You'll have the ability to preview a page before it's converted so that you know what you are going to get.
