  • Hi @Tevan_Alexander thanks for your post. We are actively working on this now per my other response however we are looking to speak to as many people as we can to understand the deeper level use cases beyond just hiding projects. As part of that work we may define requirements that will can ship to Standard and Premium if…
  • Hi @Adam Rawlinson thanks for your post. Archiving has never been available in cloud and only relatively recently added in Data Center edition. We are actively working on this now per my other response however we are looking to speak to as many people as we can to understand the deeper level use cases beyond just hiding…
  • @MIshaBykov this feature has recently been launched in Jira Cloud https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/The-add-in-you-ve-been-waiting-for-Jira-Cloud-for-Excel/ba-p/1210420
  • Hi Sean this capability hasn't existed in Cloud apart from the published permission workaround. It has been implemented in the Data Centre product and we are about to start work on bringing it to cloud (See my answer below)
  • Hi Everyone, Thank you for your support for this feature and patience as we prioritise all the needs and requests for Jira Software. The voice for this feature has been somewhat muted as demand has been spread across a number of different JAC tickets. As many have mentioned, Project (and Issue) Archiving has been shipped…
  • Posting an update to this question as it still rates highly in Google. Jira Software now offers a free edition for up to 10 users. Anyone can sign up and receive this edition just go to https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing Regards Ben Jira PM.
  • @[deleted] the team are releasing new features for next-gen on a regular basis. For everyone who's interested in Next-gen you can keep up to date with our public roadmap here @Finn Harsfort your issue links are preserved when moved to Next-gen. If you meant epic links that's correct at present they are not preserved when…
  • Thanks for all the feedback everyone. For those keen to see roadmapping in Classic I can only say for the moment stay tuned. On the server side that has not been resourced at this point and i would say add your voice to this ticket to let the team know you'd like it prioritised. @Andrea Lee the roadmap will update in…
  • Hi everyone and thanks for your feedback and comments. Yes this is supporting the Roadmap feature in Jira Cloud's next-gen project type and we don't yet have a Roadmapping solution in Classic project types. If you are looking for a roadmapping solution in Server and you have a number of teams it might be worth taking a…
  • I have a question for everyone here. If done epics are removed from the roadmap do you have a need to see them again at some point?
  • @Laura Bowers and @Christian Zelada It is 'Add to Parent' for a few reasons. As mentioned by @Mike Solomon not everyone calls them Epics (you can rename that level to something relevant to your process). The second reason is that in the future Next-gen projects will support more levels above epic and so 'Add to Parent'…
  • And if I could give you a magic wand how would you like this to work? You can either tweet me https://twitter.com/bjako so you don't all see each other's answers and we get the broadest feedback possible ;) or comment on the ticket I linked above
  • Hi everyone I am a PM on the Jira team and we are looking at this right now apologies I just came across this post. You can follow this ticket for updates https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17996
  • Also, one little known feature, if you filter your backlog by epic and then add an issue inline it will automatically be added to that epic. I know a lot of people have been asking for better ways to assign issues to epics but while we build them I wanted to mention that one. Ben - PM on Jira Jira.
