I would go with this approach as well. If you also want to have a zero score then you could add 1 to the business value too.
-
Thanks again, Omer. Along with your other post, we really appreciate your feedback, it's so helpful when we make our decisions on prioritising where to improve the experience.
-
Thanks, Omer. We agree with you! We're constantly trying to improve the product experience that we offer and it's always a challenge to make the right prioritisation decisions with our limited resources. Appreciate you sharing your feedback, it really helps us make these calls when we know where you're experiencing the…

Hi @Paolo Pastorino I would suggest doing this as a text field for now. It might be more helpful this way as your business stakeholders can include some context about the date (hard deadline vs nice to have etc).
-
Hi Lexi, I'm not sure I understand what you would like to see. Would you like to try explaining it to me over a call? https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/customer-calls
-
Hi @prashant thanks for sharing this feedback with us. For context, how many views do you have and how often are you creating views?
-
@Tim Marks i'd love to take you up on that. Could you book time in with me through this Calendly link? https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/customer-calls
-
Hi @Simone Longoni Right now this can only be enforced manually, by doing things like renaming the column name. eg. rename "In Progress" to "In Progress max. 6". Hopefully someone can share another workaround!
-
Hi @prashant Jira Product Discovery ideas appear in the Linked Issues section on a Jira Software issue. Is this what you need?
-
@Gail @Chris Timms you're exactly right in the way JPD fields are created. Thanks for sharing your use case here, I was unaware customers were reviewing JPD fields through APIs!
-
Hi @Manikandan Kaliyaperumal we've fixed the issue for you, I've shared the details in the support ticket that you raised with us. If you can't find it, check your email for Jira notifications.
-
Thanks Matt. Would you be interested in speaking to us in a bit more detail about what your use case so we know what solution would work best for you? Here's my Calendly: https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/customer-calls
-
@Manikandan Kaliyaperumal could you please create a ticket for this so we can look into it for you?
-
Hi @Matt Jones , There are 2 options for calculating Delivery progress which you can see when you click on "Edit field": Simple - Searches linked issues only for the calculation. Default - Searches 1 level down to calculate progress. The limitation here is that we don't go down further levels for performance reasons. Do…

Glad you worked it out!

Hi @Stas Hagemans , while we don't officially support JPD date fields in Automation, some users have been able to get their use cases working. This might be helpful to you: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-questions/Set-project-target-interval/qaq-p/2356633

Hi @Robert Barbosa thanks for the suggestions! We'll keep this in mind as we make improvements to the views in Jira Product Discovery. In case you're not aware already, there's an "about this view" feature which can house some of the information you're referring to.
-
Hi @Neta Ilany @Caitlin Steel @Christina Kogiou Roadmaps in Jira Product Discovery are best represented in the Board view and Timeline view, currently these don't show sprints. We'll keep your suggestion in mind for when we make improvements to the Timeline view. For now, I would suggest Roadmaps in Jira Software as the…
-
Hi @Lukas Lyon could you please share a bit more detail on the behaviour you would like to see? Which fields are being changed to drive updates in Target Start and End?
-
Hi @Jonas Schultens , we only support quarters at the moment, we'll keep this in mind for when we next make improvements to the timeline view.
-
Hi @Karthiga Sethuraj the full details on this feature in Jira Product Discovery can be found in this Community post https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Who-wants-to-try-the-feature-letting-contributors-submit-ideas/ba-p/2323964 Note that it's now live for all customers. While we don't…
-
Hi @Neta Ilany it's not in our immediate plans to make improvements to Automation capabilities, though we have noted your issue for us to address when we work on this area in the future. I suspect the limitation here is that dates in Jira Product Discovery are actually a text field under the hood, we did this so we can…
-
@Miriam Donath top help us with our explorations and prioritisation for this feature, would you be able to jump on a call with us to discuss your use case? You can book time in with me through Calendly https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/customer-calls
-
@Seth Mason @Amanda Barber @Vanessa Scott @Michelle @Elizabeth Sankey @Len Bergman I've just come back from leave and would like to continue talking to customers about this. I've created some available timeslots next week I hope you can book yourself in: https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/jpd-ar
-
@kara.peabody @Seth Mason I'm on leave for the next ~2 weeks hence the calendar availability. I've created some more timeslots during May 4-19, can you try again please?
-
Thanks for that insight @Kasia Karska _HeroCoders_ @Krystal O_Connor here are a few options: * Multi-select field for each customer as you're currently using. Note that you might start running in to some performance challenges if you add lots of options in this field. * Persona field as @Krystal O_Connor suggested *…

Hi Katarzyna, Rohan from the JPD Product Management team here. How does the Affected Customers field help you with your work?
-
Hi @Ahmed Salem we hear your feedback. We're aiming to support this in the future, there's work happening on Jira foundations to unblock us here. That said, we find that a lot of teams benefit from having a separate playground for different projects, they're able to operate with more autonomy and move quickly.
-
Hi @Jack Arndt we don't have this functionality at the moment and it's not on our roadmap for now. How wold you expect to incorporate the surveys into your discovery workflow?
-
Hi @Richard Muffler the fields can't be carried over between Jira Product Discovery and Jira Software at the moment. As @Martin suggested you could use Automation, there's a guide here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Product-demo-Automation-for-Delivery/ba-p/2057152
