@Taronish Pithawala actually I haven't come across this use case before. We've had customers try and get their contributors to a single project, not to a list of projects. But we'll keep your use case in mind for the future, thanks for sharing it with us.

hi @Taronish Pithawala the App Selector shows which products you have a licence to, and we hacked together the Contributor role to get it out fast and the workaround is that it's not properly a role that's attached to JPD. But we're working on improvements to this! Contributor will be a real role that can be configured in…

hi @Freddie Bendzius-Drennan Rohan from the JPD Product Management team here. Thanks for asking this question. We're exploring how we can help customers with this set up. Would you be willing to have a chat over Zoom so we can understand your use case in more detail? You can book time with me on Calendly.
-
Hi @Leah Maggin . Looks Bill has been able to troubleshoot your Automation. I'm a Product Manager from the Jira Product Discovery team, would you be willing to have a quick chat with me on Zoom about your use case? Maybe we can find a solution that doesn't require automation. Here's my Calendly link to book time in with me.

@Yael Geffen A site admin needs to do the following. Go to: * in the 9 dot menu in the top left select Administration * Select Directory * Select the user * Select Grant access, and choose Jira Product Discovery as the product to grant access to.
-
hi @Yael Geffen . As @Adriana Domínguez Eguiarte says below, the user doesn't have a license for Jira Product Discovery so they can not be made an admin. A site admin needs to give this user a license before they can be made a Project Administrator or Creator.
-
hi @Markus Jankowski Thanks for the heads up, we'll add more detail to the documentation we have available. As it stands, you can use Jira Software Data Center while you are using Jira Product Discovery Cloud and do all your discovery work to prioritise ideas, create roadmaps and share them with your stakeholders. However…

@Maya Arad * On the upper right of the navigation bar, select ⚙️ > User Management > Directory. * On the left sidebar, select Groups > site-admins group, and then for Jira Product Discovery, select None. This change sometimes takes a few minutes to be applied across the system. Note: Trusted users (a deprecated user…

Hi Alon, could you please explain your structure once more? Is it: - Epics - Stories/Tasks - Subtasks There are 2 ways of calculating progress: Simple - Aggregate the linked issues. Default - Aggregate the children of linked issues. To calculate the progress of Tasks, you can link your ideas to Epics and choose Default…

@Claudia Fox @jack_saxton we had an issue with the feature flags. It should be working for everyone now.
-
@jack_saxton could you try again please? We had a minor issue turning the feature flag on for your site.
-
Hi @Jess Williamson we're working on some solutions to this problem at the moment. Would you like to book a Zoom call with me on Calendly so that we can incorporate your feedback in our solution?
-
Hi @Arnold we're working on some solutions to this problem at the moment. Would you like to book a Zoom call with me on Calendly so that we can incorporate your feedback in our solution?
-
@Christiane Klockmann if you're still running into issues please email me at rswami@atlassian dot com with details including your site URL and we'll take a look.
-
@jack_saxton You'll need to hover here to switch from Issue Count to Story Points. If that doesn't work for you please ping me at rswami @ atlassian dot com
-
We've turned it on for you @Matt Richards @John Karas @jack_saxton ! Please share your feedback and any bugs you find.
-
Hi all, we have an early access program available for calculating delivery progress based on Story Points! If you'd like us to turn it on for you, please comment here with your site URL eg. xyz.atlassian.net If I've liked your comment, that means we've turned it on for you. We've turned this on for everyone!
-
Hi @Tashiro, Hideyuki , thanks for sharing your suggestion. Can you share a bit more detail about how you would like this to work? Is it one Confluence Project Page that maps to an entire Product Discovery project?
-
Hi Monica, If I understand correctly, you're looking to add requirements to a JPD idea and when a Jira delivery ticket is created then all those requirements should still be attached the delivery ticket so that you don't have to reattach them in Jira. Do I have that right?
-
Hi @María Ferreño Serra filters are based on field values that can be selected, for example select and multi-select fields, or basic functions on number fields. To create a filter, move these field values to a select or multi-select field. Alternatively you could use the search function at the top right of the view Find an…
-
Hi Nathan, Thanks for sharing this feedback with us. Currently the in-line create can not be disabled. We've built this in a way that when you create an in-line idea, your idea will meet the filters/groups in the view. Admittedly it has it's drawbacks in scenarios like this. Perhaps you could direct your contributors to…

Hi @Emma Bellamy this isn't in our short term roadmap at the moment.
-
@Robert Barbosa for now our process is to log all these feature requests in an internal Jira Product Discovery request as insights. The Jira Product Discovery Product Management team is reviewing Community posts and feedback tickets every day.
-
Hi @Bree Campbell unfortunately it's a long process for Jira Product Discovery to use the Teams concept that's in Jira Software. We're working on some of the pre-requisite steps to achieve this, but I can't offer timelines at this point.
-
@Monica Arun Kumar I think you have contributor access but not creator access to JPD. You'll need creator access to create ideas and projects in JPD. Check with your site admins to ensure you have the right access. If you're still struggling to work out what's going on, you can book time in with me…

I believe it's because the logic here is that issues used for delivery progress calculations are a special type of issue link, we don't look at regular issue links to calculate delivery progress.
-
Hi @Mart Postma the delivery progress and status fields can't be imported as they are calculated fields based on the linked issues. I haven't been able to find a guide to import linked issues unfortunately, sorry about that!
-
Hi @Monica Arun Kumar JPD has a lot of integrations with Jira Software. To connect a JPD idea to an existing Epic in Jira Software: * Open an idea, navigate to the Delivery tab. * Select Add a delivery ticket, then choose your project and epic. Note that JPD needs to be on the same site as Jira Software to be able to…
-
@Craig Hind I believe your team opened a support ticket for this, we recently responded to it. The issue was that your org admin was also a trusted user. Here's the guidance on trusted users from the post: Trusted users will count as billable users by default Trusted users (a deprecated user experience) will also use a…

Hi @Mart Postma the reason the date format of JPD is different is because JPD allows you to choose a 'fuzzy' date like a month or quarter, which is a string under the hood. You could manipulate this once you're in excel with formulas like below.
