I don't think you can query on the "Σ Time Spent" field out of the box as that field is an aggregate. If you have EazyBI, you can get it though. It is the "hours spent with subtasks". You might be able to create a numeric field and copy the value of the "aggregatetimespent" and query off that but, I have not tried it.

To view the logs, 2 options that I use on a regular basis are: * log onto our actual server and navigate to the <JIRA-HOME>/logs directory. * Use Script Runner add-on Built-In script -> View server Logs. The log that would probably be the most helpful is the atlassian-jira.log

AH! So you had the Jira user Directory as the first directory in user directory order. Gotcha! Yeah, it is good practice to have the local user directory as the 1st directory in the directory order.

@Oliver Drehmann (Antarus) No Problem, glad I could help. So you added new local users to the Confluence internal directory and gave them admin rights? This way you could access Confluence admin activities with one of them and address the Jira user directory issue? Don't lose the new local user admin :)

@Oliver Drehmann (Antarus) Not sure there is much more you can do without a user that is stored in the Confluence Internal Directory. You have to get an internal user, not one that is pulled from the jira user directory link. If you have access to the DB, you can get the internal Confluence admin and maybe reset the…

Did you configure the Request Type to show the Fix Version field in addition to the overall issue type screen and screen scheme?

Can you provide the post functions for both Workflow A and Workflow B? Have you watched the logs during the on B? From what it sounds like, Issue "c" doesn't exist at the time issue "a" is trying to establish the link since the 3 issues ("a", "b", and "c" like in your example) are created one at a time when Issue Type A…

Easiest way is to create an issue for the deployment task and add a post function to the workflow to send out an email when the issue is transitioned to Done.
-
One way is to create an Epic and add the stories/tasks to the epic. Then you can group all your backlog stories/tasks by Epic. You can also limit the view of the stories and tasks in the backlog by selecting the related epic from the left side menu.

If you are a board admin for the Kanban board, go to the board config. This shows the actual query used to populate the board. Use the same filter in the Jira Issue/Filter plugin.

The EpicLink is a customfield. You should be able to get the customfield ID from the HTML. If you are using Chrome: * Open an issue that has the EpicLink populated * right click on the epicName * Select Inspect * In the html, you should see the DIV for the value * get the customfield ID from the DIV, should be something…

You will need a Confluence admin that is in the Internal Confluence directory. Do you still have the user that was used when the Confluence instance was created?

Ok, now I get what you are trying to do. I don't think there is a way out of the box to get the functionality you are looking for. There may be an add-on out there that does this specific thing but, I am not sure. Alternatively, you may be able to write an add-on to do it using the API. Sorry I wasn't more help.

The Jira Misc Workflow Extensions add-on has a couple of auto-transition post functions to auto-transition linked issues, parent issues, or design your own conditional transition. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/292/jira-misc-workflow-extensions-jmwe?hosting=cloud&tab=overview Alternatively, another add-on called…

The only way I can think to be notified of both the Jira issue updates and an updates to the linked Confluence pages, is to watch both. Then you will get notified when the Confluence page or the Jira issue is updated.

Do you have access to that "Confluence Analytics (System)" or the "Chat Notification" users? If so, have you tried to use those to access the space settings? Do you have access to a user with system-admin global permissions? If so and you are comfortable with API, you could delete the space through an API…

Is your confluence user the overall system admin? To be able to edit the space settings, your user would have to 1) be an existing space admin or 2) have either the confluence-administrator global rights or the confluence-system-administrator global rights. Based on your screenshot, I would find out who is the "Confluence…

The difference between the two is related to the size of work being done and the relationship the issue type will have to other issues. Stand issue types defines a unit of work, whether that be a task, story, epic, bug, etc. A sub-task issue type is a defined as just a piece of a larger unit of work. For example, say you…

@Ronald Smith If you have a the Script Runner add-on, there is a built-in function for bulk updating resolutions. You just need to create a filter for all the issues you wan to update and then go through the steps in the built-in script.

My wife and I get a new jigsaw puzzle every month or so and put it together. We have 3 small children so we play a ton of board games like Sorry, UNO, Chutes and Ladders, checkers. One thing we instituted in my house is every Friday is "Family Fun Night!" We do crafts, games, cool science experiments...and eat pizza! Games…

Where is this occurring? Confluence? Did you go to the Page attachments page? Go to the page, click the 3 dots on the top right on the page. From the dropdown, select Attachments. This will take you to the page's attachments, delete the ones you need to remove. You then need to go to the Space trash can and remove them…

Not sure if you mean "any logged in user" or a project specific Role called "users". You could update the project permission scheme. Update the Issue Permissions section for the action you need.

@Robert Withrow Not sure if you are using Cloud or Server instance but, on our Server instance we had a similar situation where we connect to a Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD) for the majority of our user base and create users in the Jira Internal Directory for subcontractors/client team members/ etc. The Jira Internal…
