Welcome! ๐

I try to keep both my office and home office desks as empty as possible - I feel like it helps me focus better ๐ You can usually tell how intense my week has been just by looking at my desk: the messier it gets, the worse the week has probably been ๐

I was a 90s/2000s kid, so my memories are very different ๐ Low-rise jeans, tiny handbags, butterfly clips, glittery topsโฆ and somehow we thought all of it looked amazing at the time โจ๐ The funniest part is seeing so many of those trends come back now!

One of my recent wins is that this month marked one year since I became an Atlassian Community Champion! ๐๐

Wow! This is a game-changer. I've had several cases where we had to create multiple work item types purely to work around the single-context limitation. Having multiple field contexts per space should simplify configurations significantly and may also reduce the number of custom fields we need to maintain. Really lookingโฆ

One thing I'd add is to review workflows periodically, not only when someone complains about them ๐ Workflows tend to accumulate statuses, validators, conditions, and automations over time because each change made sense at the moment. A quick "workflow health check" every few months can help catch things that no longerโฆ

This summer has been a nice mix of work and recharging for me ๐ On the work side, Iโve spent a lot of time around Atlassian, AI/Rovo, customer projects, and obtaining Atlassian certificates, so definitely a productive summer ๐ I also managed to get away to Italy for a proper vacation, which was exactly the reset I neededโฆ

Great overview! ๐ Forms are one of those Jira features that can be really useful but are still surprisingly easy to forget about. I only wish they supported Assets fields as well. For JSM and asset-heavy use cases, being able to collect structured information directly against objects in Assets would make Forms much moreโฆ

It'll be my second Team event in Europe and I'm really excited! ๐๐ I'm especially looking forward to the AI and Rovo sessions, hearing about whatโs coming next across Atlassian products, and of course reconnecting with familiar Community faces while finally meeting some people Iโve only known online ๐ I'd also love to tryโฆ
-
That's a really interesting use case, @Jay Maechtlen! ๐ I like the idea of using Rovo as a reviewer rather than only as a search or creation tool by asking it to look beyond your own content and compare against other sources. That feels like one of those small uses that can really save a surprising amount of time. Yourโฆ

I really like "Done is better than perfect"ย ๐ I can sometimes have a tendency to overthink or keep polishing things, so this one is a useful reminder for both and me and my team that progress usually matters more than perfection. It has probably saved me quite a few unnecessary hours over the years!
-
Wow, that's really cool!
-
That's very cool! Hoping to see more prompt examples for inspiration soon ๐

That's an interesting approach. I think the AI Play day would be much easier to introduce than the AI Pause day. For me, the more useful comparison might be to go almost "150% AI" for a day and intentionally trying to use AI wherever it could realistically help, then review what you actually built into your workflow onโฆ

Thank you to everyone contributing & being active in the community! ๐ โ๏ธ

@Morgan Henderson -drawio Diagrams- I actually completed Registered Scrum Basicsโข too! ๐ I really enjoyed it as the format was engaging and it was a nice refresher even for concepts I was already familiar with ๐

I think the biggest mindset shift for new users is realizing that an Epic is part of the hierarchy rather than just another card you expect to see alongside Tasks and Stories everywhere. Once that clicks, views like Timeline and the Parent relationship start making much more sense. I've seen this confuse plenty of new Jiraโฆ
-
@Amanda Barberย Exactly! ๐ I like that balance too. Longer learning paths for certification prep, and then the smaller courses when you just need a quick refresher on some specific topic. The Kudos really do make the whole thing feel a bit more rewarding ๐ ๐
-
@Anwesha Panย Love that! ๐ The Rovo learning content seems to be pulling quite a few people toward the certification lately. Good luck with the Confluence prep too! Revisiting the courses before an exam is such a good way to spot those little gaps you don't notice in day-to-day work. And yes, the badges definitely make itโฆ

@Dave LIAOย - Exactly! ๐ Some weeks it definitely feels more like 110% Atlassian and 30% team leading. Apparently the math works differently when youโre a team lead ๐๐

Scoop gelato for me! ๐จ Pistachio is probably my all-time favorite, but I also love stracciatella and lavender when I find a really good one ๐ Now I'm curious how frozen custard comparesโฆ this post may have added something new to my must-try list ๐

Nice improvement! ๐ I can definitely see inline hierarchy making filtered Timeline views much easier to understand. Also good to call out that standalone work items disappear when inline hierarchy is enabled - I can imagine that catching a few users by surprise at first ๐

* Head of Atlassian Service Team - I deal with providing technical consultations, manage the team and do sales/demos/trainings. In practice, I step in wherever needed to help our customers and team succeed ๐ * 90% Atlassian, 20% team leading ๐ ๐

Hi, @Ramkanna! ๐ This happens if any issue in the sprint uses a workflow that is marked as read-only. Jira cannot update these issues, so it blocks sprint completion. You can resolve this error using one of the following options: ๐ Option 1: Remove affected issues from the sprint Use this option if you need to close theโฆ

Oh wow, things change quickly! Just yesterday I was proudly saying that I had earned every Atlassian certification available, so naturally, I had to fix that immediately ๐ A nice introductory certification! Thanks! ๐

Thanks for making Individual Capacity Planning generally available! ๐คฉ๐ It is great to finally have native individual-level capacity planning in Jira and it's one of the features I've been most looking forward to ๐งก After trying it, I feel that several valuable capabilities are still missing: * The ability to plan workloadโฆ
