@tommy - interesting idea, allowing users to add fields as-needed. It's not possible to give users (aka people filling in the forms) the ability to do that right now. You could get similar outcomes by adding: * A radio question -- Would you like to add another address? Y/N * Conditional section with another set of address…

Hi @Shastine Mosley 👋 If you're using Jira Service Management to capture change requests, the new form builder lets you tailor your intake forms to capture the info you need. That info is then stored on the request, where you can build workflows, add multiple forms for each step of your change management process, and…

Q: I have a free instance of jira, can I try this new feature or is it only for those who have a paid license? A: ProForma, or the native forms functionality is now available in all Jira Service Management instances. So it's open for everyone and that's where it will remain. If you do have ProForma or ProForma Light…

Hi @Steffen Rauscher 👋 Your instance may have been grouped in with a cohort of ProForma users, which might have blocked rollout for you. I suggest you reach out to support and share your SEN or CloudID so we can check on the instance. If you're not using ProForma, we should be able to roll out the new form builder to you.…

Love to see the positive feedback @Gomez, Daniel ! We're running an Ask Me Anything about the new forms features here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management-articles/New-Forms-AMA-Got-questions-about-the-new-forms-in-Jira-Service/ba-p/1914858 You're welcome to add any questions there (or here ;)

Glad you found an answer quickly @tommy If you have any other questions, we're running an Ask Me Anything this week: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management-articles/New-Forms-AMA-Got-questions-about-the-new-forms-in-Jira-Service/ba-p/1914858

Hi @Jeff Hobbs 👋 Do you see Forms in your JSM instance now? If you're not seeing it today, please @ mention me here or open a support ticket.

@Niraj Rai ProForma is still available for on-prem here: * ProForma marketplace app * ProForma Lite (Free) Both apps will work on Server and Data Center, for Service Management and Software. The ProForma app is a paid app, but if you'd like to do a proof of concept you can use ProForma Lite to do that without the time…

Excited to see this, @Asher Francis - thanks for sharing. And glad you found the new forms features. If you don't mind sharing, are you open to sharing how came across the forms features? We'd love to make more people aware of it and it would be super helpful to learn how people are discovering it. Thanks again :)

You're right, @Dimitri Spolspoel - I missed that context. It's a good recommendation and something that would help adoption of forms, too. Keep the feedback coming!

Hi @Dimitri Spolspoel 👋 Thanks for your feedback. I'll address each comment below. 1. Agents can use the [+] symbol to add a form to a request like this: I like your idea of showing something like 'Similar requests' or 'Related KB articles'. Tagging @Simon H as the product manager on this. 2. Re: notifying customers or a…

Hi @Fabian Lim For now the forms feature set in Jira Service Management Cloud is similar to the ProForma Marketplace app for Data Center. We are reviewing the roadmaps for Cloud and DC/Server. I suspect that over time there will be a difference between the two, but for now they're mostly the same. Unfortunately, I can't go…
-
Thank you, @Jack Brickey - I really appreciate your feedback. It's an exciting new feature set that we're confident is going to help a lot of people. And yes, it goes beyond being just another form builder. There's a lot to think about and we plan to work on more in-depth use cases to help spark the creative process around…

Happy to hear it @Jeff Hoover @Peter Reiser you should see forms in your instance now, too.
-
@Peter Reiser @Jeff Hoover Thanks for letting me know. Looking into this with the team.
-
@Christophe Chedhomme you should have forms in Jira Service Management Cloud by January 17th. Please note that some Enterprise accounts may not receive forms by this date. @mention me here again if you don't see forms in your Cloud instance by Tuesday, January 18.
-
@Peter Reiser - Happy to hear the excitement :) We chose to do a random rollout, so I can't see when a specific instance will get the new features. If you're a Jira Service Management Cloud customer, you should have the new form builder within the next 1-2 weeks.

Hi Chris 👋 This sounds like it might be an order of operations problem. ProForma internally can’t attach forms to the issue during the actual create time; it has to do it after the issue is created, so it actually goes through as an edit milliseconds afterwards. If you're updating a form, the same goes for linked fields. A…
-
Hi @Derek Fields _RightStar_ - this is an order of operations issue. We found the best workaround is to create an intermediary status in your workflow like “In Processing," then run the script from that status. For example: Submit button clicked → In Processing → Waiting for Support In this case, you could execute the…

Hi @Sai Abhiram Chunduru (XFND36) 👋 The ProForma cloud apps were recently removed from the Marketplace as we get closer to launching the ProForma form builder as an integrated feature set within Jira. I'm not able to share the details of that integration yet, but keep an eye on the Community - we'll share an update about…
-
@Nic - this looks like it might be a permissions issue. Have a look at the ProForma permissions troubleshooting page here: http://links.thinktilt.net/troubleshoot-permissions Let me know if that helps. If not, we can work through it.
-
Hi @Thomi and @Fabian Lim 👋 That's right. At the moment there isn't an option to create global templates. This feature has been requested a number of times and I've added a link to this post to the product board. I can't say if or when this will be developed, but we appreciate your suggestion!
-
Hi @Anna Benzo 👋 - you will only pay for agents, not for customers. Here's an overview of JSM's current pricing: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-management/pricing
-
Hi @mcorso and welcome 👋 This can happen if you have both ProForma and ProForma Lite installed. You can safely uninstall ProForma Lite with ProForma full and not lose any data. The form templates are stored directly on your Jira project and forms on issues are stored on the Jira issues themselves. So the only way you would…
-
Hi @[deleted] - there are instructions on data connections here: http://links.thinktilt.net/data-lookups-tutorial If that doesn't help, please @mention me in a reply here and I'll see what more we can do.
-
Hi @Zaldy Parian - do you mean you'd like to add a ProForma form to a Jira issue after pushing a bug report from TestRail? You can add a form on status change: http://links.thinktilt.net/add-form-on-status-change Does that work?
-
Hi @Michael Melville and welcome to the Community 👋 ProForma doesn't currently support Elements Connect fields. I'm not able to give you a timeline on it, but it is on the roadmap.
-
Hey @Wendy Barrington 👋 - if you use the validator it should prevent an issue from being submitted if the form is not present. Here's where you can set this up in form settings: Here's a bit more detail on the validators: * At least one form is included on the issue This validator ensures that at least one form is included…
-
Hi @Jennifer Flinn - I had a chat with some of the devs. It's not clear if this will be provided in DC, but it is on their radar. I'm sorry I can't provide a better answer at the moment. The best I can suggest at the moment is to raise a feature request through Jira and keep an eye on the DC roadmap here.
-
Thanks @Wendy Barrington - Are you using JSM on Cloud, DC, or Server? Have you considered or tried using a Workflow Validator? Here's some documentation on preventing an issue status change, including if a form is not present: http://links.thinktilt.net/workflow-validators Hope that helps. If not, let me know.
