@Adam McBride @Michael.Palapar could you share what you'd like to do or aren't able to do with the automation rules as they are today? Happy to work through it with you if it helps.
-
Thanks for your comment @Danno 👋 Customers who had the ProForma Cloud Marketplace app installed in Jira Software prior to releasing the native form builder into JSM have the forms feature. If you'd like to add forms to Jira Software, I suggest you contact support to see if it's possible to turn them on for you.
-
@Sandro Mordasini The purple icon in the bottom left of my screenshot is Loom (the Chrome extension) - if everything else looks the same, you're on the new form builder 👍
-
@Cheri Looks like you're using the native version of the form builder. I suggest contacting support to confirm that your instance has been migrated. If you share your instance ID, the support crew should be able to tell you. And then they can guide you through deleting the ProForma marketplace app.
-
@Cheri Hansen all Cloud instances that had ProForma installed were migrated several months ago. A quick way to know if you're already using the new form builder is to check the UI. If it looks like this, you're on the native form builder: If your form builder UI is different (for example, you see a JSON menu item next to…
-
@Sandro Mordasini are you still unable to see the new form builder in Cloud?
-
@Jeff Pittman no news to share on this. Thanks for the tag @Nicolas Esteves
-
Hi @Mark Thomas -- I hear you. The product teams are considering Cloud and Data Center. I'm not able to say what that will look like.
-
@Siobhan Flynn Business projects will get the full form functionality. I don't have a timeline on when that will happen, but we intend to make forms available across all the Jiras... eventually.
-
Got it. Thanks for clarifying @Antonio Rodriguez The new form automation components are available now. To pull smart values into emails using Automation, you'll need to link form fields to Jira fields or custom fields. The ability to use all form fields (regardless of being linked to Jira/custom fields or not) is being…
-
Hi @Antonio Rodriguez I'm not aware of a public ticket for attaching a PDF to an email. I can see two related items in the backlog for Jira Service Management Cloud. You're welcome to suggest this on jira.atlassian.com If you do raise a feature suggestion ticket, share the link here. Tag me. I'll help others find and watch…
-
Hi @Loran Hauserman and welcome to the Community. Not sure if this addresses the problem head on, but could you use the automation trigger "When: Forms submitted" and automation action "Edit issue fields" to add a label to the issue?
-
Hi @Siobhan Flynn and thanks for jumping in @Dirk Ronsmans Dirk has it with those two points. A big benefit of using the forms features over just fields is the ability to get very clear on the data you need to capture. Dirk mentions dynamic sections - this makes it easier for you (building the form) and customers…
-
Oops! I didn't check for comments on this post. My fault everyone. From the top: @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ the automation components are available in free and standard plans @Willy G the new forms have not rolled out to Software or Work Management projects for all users yet. Forms are available to all JSM customers. If you…
-
Hi @Ryan Wolfe You can specify a form using the "Forms attached" automation condition. Here's what that looks like: Is this what you're looking for? Let me know if not and we'll work through it.
-
Hi @Benjamin Chen -- are you on Data Center? And are you able to share more details on what you see when you attempt to enable the app?
-
Ah, got it, @Lisa Maria Creuso -- no worries! The option to "Hide submit button" was removed. I don't believe the team plans to add it back. I'm tagging @Simon Herd to confirm that for you. He's on holiday - I'll come back to you after he's back and we have a chance to talk about this. Thanks for raising this.
-
Hi @Lisa Maria Creuso This image is what you should see in your form settings, including the option to keep forms open. Could you please confirm what you see in your form settings? If you have something different, we'll figure it out from there.
-
Hi @Christine Byrer -- Because you had ProForma installed in Jira Software prior to the launch of the native form builder, you will continue to have access to Forms in Software projects. You should be able to uninstall the ProForma Lite app as you would any other Marketplace app. If you get stuck on anything, please…
-
Thanks for the tag @Fabian Lim Hi @John Black 👋 It's not currently possible to rearrange your forms and Jira fields. We hear this request a lot and we're working on delivering a smart way to build your forms with any fields, including the attachment field. I don't have a timeline to share, but it's very much on our radar.…
-
Hi @bertrand.drouhard I can't share any updates on the form builder coming to Jira Software. If you have an instance of Jira Software that has ProForma installed, your instance will be migrated to the new form builder. For Software instances without ProForma currently installed, I'm not sure when forms are coming. @Sue…
-
@Dmitry Korobov the new native form builder is the integration of the ProForma Marketplace app into Jira Service Management: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/use-forms-in-jira-service-management/ If you were a ProForma customer, your form will be migrated without loss of function or data. If…
-
Hi @Mark Thomas the ProForma Marketplace app for Data Center is available. There isn't any ProForma-to-Data Center integration news to share right now.
-
Hi @Leo von Klenze 👋 Field keys let you set an identifier for each field/question. This makes it easier to find your question in the JSON data structure.
-
@Han Kong you should be able to get into the Forms Group here --> https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Forms/gh-p/forms Let me know if you have any trouble getting in 🙂
-
Hi @Allison Carlson 👋 Here goes :) * In this example, the SOP is a Checkbox field that we hard keyed. You could use any of the choice fields. You could also use a Data Connection to retrieve JSON data from Rest APIs and use this data to populate a choice list (if you have a directory of SOPs). * The SOPs in the example…
-
Hi @Larry Miracola 👋 Love the use case. There isn't a way to do that as a user fills in the form. In theory you could use the checkbox as an automation trigger and build a series of automations to copy data from Scale 1 to Scale 2 fields. In order to use form field data, each form field needs to be linked to a Jira field…
-
Hi @Karoline Rezende Ramos Merging forms and Jira fields I'm not certain if this exact use case is on the roadmap (the ability to show the 'Linked issues' field. I'm not aware of a way to do that right now. Dynamic fields outside of ProForma I believe the only option outside ProForma is another Marketplace App.
-
@Karoline Rezende Ramos I'm working on a video for conditional sections. I'll use an example similar to your original post above. Is there anything else you'd like me to cover?
-
✚1️⃣ to @Pramodh M's answer. You can do that @Karoline Rezende Ramos . Would a detailed video on how to build conditional sections in the new form builder be helpful for you?
