Hi @Ned Lindau Thanks for sharing that video on how to convert a parent page to a folder. Side note: Have you already discovered Loom? 😉 Question: Can two folders have the same name in a space (as opposed to pages)?

Thanks for adding Confluence databases to the list @Angelie Stephens

Congratulations on writing your first article @Vishwas Prasad !👏🏻

That means we're on the same page @Ines C Granting someone the User product role provides product access without admin permissions. If you were a Product admin already and now you select User additionally, then you won't receive a notification. If you don't have are role yet and you are granted the User role, then you will…

There's not much you can change about the portal itself natively. You would need a third-party app like Refined to customize the portal. The portal basically exists of the request types you create in your service project, optionally categorized by portal groups or topics.

Hi @Don Roberts welcome to the Atlassian Community! You may want to check out the following documentation article: Customize your help centers The Help Center is the main portal screen. It consists of one or more customer portals (the front-end of a service project).

Hi @Chris Shernaman I'm new to this group after clicking a post from Jimmy Seddon's CUG. Still wandering around in this "space" trying to find out about CUGs, their purpose, the benefits, etc. Thanks for continuing to share you weekly wonder.

I share you opinion @Rachel Wright but Jira will "complain" (i.e. display a warning for admins) if you remove this permission, even for customers in a service project.
-
Hi @Adam Long Are you talking about a Confluence "Macro" of the third-party app Structure? You asked this question in the Confluence group and tagged Confluence but talk about gadgets in Jira.
-
Hi @Manoj Kumar Gangwar Then why is it not displayed in the project list? Where can you find it for software of service projects if you're not an admin?
-
Hi @Renuka Paladugu welcome to the Atlassian Community! That's a very good question. I just checked again but haven't found the location where the Project description is displayed. Even for admins I can only find it when actually going to the Project settings > Details of a specific project. It's not listed in Projects >…

While re-reading your question, can you try to explain what you mean exactly by "assigned a User role in Confluence"? Because granting someone product access gives them the user role automatically in Confluence Cloud. There are two roles in Confluence: * Users * Admins So, how would product access as a user be different…

Hi @thierry_d welcome to the Atlassian Community! How is this question related to Confluence? I don't really understand, would you please elaborate?
-
Hi @Ines C If they already have product access, but now have an additional role, I don't think they get a separate email notification.

Hi @Mark Carroll welcome to the Atlassian Community! Please note that there currently is an active incident for multiple Atlassian products. You can follow the status on https://status.atlassian.com and subscribe for updates. Personally, I would wait until this issue is resolved before further troubleshooting.

Hi @Dominic Asche welcome to the Atlassian Community! To my knowledge, you cannot make a specific custom field editable in Jira Cloud. See documentation article Use workflow properties It doesn't mention the use of a custom field id as possible key. Not entirely sure though, so if other community members could either…

Hi @Håkan Briggner welcome to the Atlassian Community! For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app. In other…

Hi @Barry Neilson Baseline Start / End date field This field determines the start/end position of the task's baseline on the timeline. The following field types can be synchronized: * "Date Picker" * "Date Time Picker" "Date Time Picker" fields are only available on Jira server versions. Disabling synchronization with Jira…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community @Safi Ullah I don't see the Summary field on the create screen of your issue. Summary is a required system field. You cannot create an issue without filling out its Summary. Can you make sure this field is added to the create screen (issue operation) that is linked to your screen scheme…

Hi @Dario Alarcón Out of curiosity, how many teams were you thinking of creating in Jira? Dozens, hundreds, thousands?
-
Hi @rsanchez welcome to the Atlassian Community! Sure, Assets can be used in a very simple and limited way: * Create an object schema for Assets * Create an object type 'Hardware' or 'Equipment' within your object Schema * Define the attributes for your hardware:* Make (could reference another object type) * Model (could…

You'll need the power-up as far as I know.

Hi @Abdelrahman Alfawaier You can either use Jira's native features for basic CRM tasks: * Create a customer portal where customers can raise support request * Create custom fields for storing customer-related information details * Make use of organizations and customers in JSM * Create a specific project for:* Leads and…
