Thanks for the perspective @John Dunkelberg. Atlassian has long had a way to store files as attachments on work items, pages, etc. and you are definitely correct there are no shortage of of other ways to store files (cloud storage providers, git, etc.). One thing we've found missing is really the ability to share and…

Hi Alice, You can upload any file type. Thumbnail support is limited to HTML only. For the artifacts details screen, we can render HTML, images, markdown, csv, pdf. More file types on the way. For sharing, we only support view permissions. We are looking to expand this over time. Folders / cover images: Thanks for your…
-
Hi Mia, No inherited permissions. You'll need to set the permissions on the artifact itself.
-
Currently Artifacts is restricted to paid sites that have Jira, we are looking to broaden access throughout the Beta period.

Sorry you're running into trouble. If you've previously authorised Atlassian MCP v2, you may have not have authorised the new scope, as a first step is to just reauth the connection. If that does not work, your Administrator maybe turned off auto-toolset enablement and will need to confirm they have approved the new…

Sorry @Anwesha Pan Do you see the app at <sitename>.atlassian.net/artifacts? Or are you having trouble with Atlassian MCP?

Hi @Kyle W., When are you all going to resolve this issue for the feature that just about everyone dislikes? JRACLOUD-72429 - Option to Disable Smart Links For Non-Atlassian Products in ADF editor. Sorry that the linking behaviour isn't working for you. A fix for that is in progress, you can follow along on ticket for…

I'm sorry to hear that tables aren't working for you. Tables remain an area of intense focus for us, we are constantly looking to make improvements in this area. For this specific issue, there is a open ticket about additional sizing modes for tables here: CONFCLOUD-67748

As I wrote above, we have added support for layouts, look for "Columns" under the + menu. You can also type `/columns`. We are also looking to add this to the toolbar itself soon.

@Rodney Hughes Yep, got it. I was asking @Tom :-)
-
@Tom You appear to be on an older version of our Server product. As mentioned above, Cloud no longer has the buttons you mentioned. You might want to check our documentation, here's is a page about drafts in Server.
-
@Tom as @Rodney Hughes mentioned, in the ... menu in the editor there is an option to "Revert to last published version". Are you on using Confluence Cloud (blue navigation bar is on the left) or Server (blue navigation is at the top)? If server, which version?
-
We recently released a fix for the shrinking table inside columns. Sorry that you were affected by this.
-
Indent is available in the new editor by using the tab key within headings/paragraphs.
-
@JM This advice is out of date, in the intervening 18 months we have changed the interface. In the ... menu next to the Publish/Close buttons there is an option to do what you'd like: For unpublished drafts there is an option to "Delete unpublished page". For published pages, in the same ... menu you have an option to…

@Alexander Deliyannis Yes, I'm seeing the same behaviour as described in that ticket. Please follow along there for updates.
-
@Alexander Deliyannis, you may have run into a bug with multiple-cell selection. You can centre align each cell individually, but when selecting an entire column it isn't working.
-
Thanks everyone for your feedback on this issue, and I'm sorry this change has been so disruptive to you. We have a public ticket tracking this issue, which I encourage you to follow: CONFCLOUD-58034.
-
This change has been reverted. You can indent blocks again.
-
@Rademeyer Vermaak That's correct, I'm sorry to say. We do not have any near term plans to address this.
-
We hear you loud and clear and are reinstating block-level indentation. You should see it in the editor shortly. Thank you to everyone for your feedback and we’re sorry that you were impacted by this change. Nested tables will remain disabled for the reasons outlined in this post.
-
I’m sorry that the lack of nested table support has affected you and your teams. To be clear on what’s been done, previously in Confluence Cloud, you could place tables inside lists, block quotes, and other tables, we call these “nested tables”. We disabled the ability to create new nested tables. Your existing pages with…

There is not. There are, however, a couple of markdown add-ons for Confluence Cloud: * Render Markdown * Markdown Extensions for Confluence
