Hi Thomas, Jira doesn't natively have a Story Map. Is it possible you're using a app to provide integrated User Story Mapping? Reaching out to the vendor of your Story Mapping service will help you get the specific help you need. (For context, I work for Easy Agile who make Easy Agile User Story Maps.) Kind regards,…

Hi @Lisanne Breman It looks from that screenshot that you're in a Next-gen Project The "Type" dropdown pictured should have each issue type that there is at least one instance of in your board - so if you create a Subtask or a Bug, they'll be added to the "Type" dropdown. If you can't create those issue types, you might…

Hi @Galbraith, Clare, This is usually the result of a Board Filter causing an error when its API is called. One possible cause of this error is when the Board Filter specifies the Epic explicitly by its Issue Key, for example: ... "Epic link" in (AAA-999, BBB-888) ... Are you able to check the Filter in the Board Settings?…

Hi there @sujata Birajdar @John Funk is correct that visualising a fourth level of hierarchy won't be possible with Jira Software alone. While it's not possible to acquire a license for Jira Server any more, you can still install Server apps from the Atlassian Marketplace. "For all other Marketplace apps, existing server…

Hi Gautam, Can you please tell me more about what you're looking to do? Wondering how to expand the panel to drop the epics. What do you mean by "drop" in this context? * Removing the Epics from the Roadmap / unscheduling them? * Filtering them out of the Unscheduled Epics/Issues panel? * Dropping them onto the Roadmap to…

Hi @david_nikulin Easy Agile Programs does not yet support Next-gen boards. We're investigating the possibility of developing for this in the New Year. The differences in features and APIs between classic and Next-gen boards presents a few technical challenges as well as unusual use-cases. David, would you be interested in…

Hi Gautam, Easy Agile Roadmaps can be created with other Issue types including Stories. The "Epics" button in the top allows you to find unschedule Epics, Tasks, Stories and Bugs to add to your Roadmap. Kind regards, Stephanie Seymour | Easy Agile

Hi @NIROSHAN MADAMPITIGE Thanks for the feedback on Easy Agile Roadmaps! We're glad we can provide a valuable alternative to Advanced Roadmaps for you and your teams. Kind regards, Stephanie Seymour | Easy Agile

Hi David, Thanks for also reaching out by our support desk at https://arijea.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/2. I hope you were able to receive our replies and that they resolved this issue for you. As per Atlassian Marketplace requirements, when purchasing Easy Agile Roadmaps, you must purchase a license that…

Hi Ruben, Thanks for also raising this issue directly with us via our Support desk. Is the Team Planning view where there is no estimate field showing (image 1) the one we discussed that was based on a Kanban board? Unfortunately, since Kanban boards have no Sprints to base these Program Increment columns on, Kanban boards…

Hi @Sreerampavankumar Govindarajula, I'm glad to hear your Jira (and Easy Agile User Story Maps app) have been updated to the latest versions and that the JQL-parsing feature released in Easy Agile User Story Maps 6.1.2 are working for you! Thanks for updating us and sharing your solution to your Automation need. Stephanie…

Hi @Sreerampavankumar Govindarajula, We're currently investigating an improvement to Easy Agile User Story Maps to ensure that when you create an issue, it meets the conditions to be displayed on the Story Map. This would mean you wouldn't need to use Automation for Jira to do this workaround. I've added your vote to this…

Hi @Sreerampavankumar Govindarajula, Are you using Easy Agile User Story Maps for Jira for your story mapping? The issue here is that in User Story Maps we create the Issue in two stages: first we create the Issue, then we perform an update to set the Epic. You may need to create a function that also runs on update,…

Hi Bharath, we noticed you asked this question in a few places and we have responded to your email to help you resolve this problem. Please let us know if we can help again in the future!

I've tested this enough to know it's not a timing issue. It's the same behaviour across browsers so it wouldn't be a plugin. If this reply posts, I'll be happy to know it's not a universal bug and I'll move on.

I've encountered a similar issue. Replying to a comment (like Monika Rani has done on this question) is failing for me. After hitting the "Reply" button... nothing happens. The button is disabled (because it's already clicked), but there's no indicators the reply has been submitted. On refresh, it's as if I never did…

@Sequoia McDowell, it is true that Jira doesn't natively support story mapping. In order to allow customers to "take it off the wall" and do away with stickies on a wall, we created Easy Agile User Story Maps so that Jira users could create story maps within Jira. It integrates with Jira with no setup so the issues you…
