Hi, I’d suggest submitting a support ticket with Atlassian. Feels like there’s been a disconnect in update process here. CCM

Hey @auj012 In Jira (and many other work management applications), it's up to your business/team to decide how they wish the use the available functions and data in a system to work for them. This is true for start/end dates, how you reflect your project at the Epic/Issue/Sub-Issue level, what Issue Types you include and…

My guess would be that your email may be receiving a notification via an email alias/forwarding rule/distribution group that was setup by another staff member. CCM

Hi all, We've seen the same change happen when moving from the 8.13.x to 8.20.x The 8.14 changelog ( https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-8-14-x-release-notes-1027133861.html#JiraSoftware8.14.xreleasenotes-a11y ) mentions that the toolbar is now included in the tab ordering CCM

Hey Wilson, As above, while you may be able to make it work from 5.7, as others have said above, upgrading is going to give you a more straightforward migration path. Given 5.7 was released in 2015, you may need to do a few interim upgrades to get to a version with decent Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA)…

And while you've got Jira stopped, delete the plugin cache (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-27314) Given how often we have plugin related issues, purging the plugin cache is now part of any application restart process. Yes, it may add a small amount of time to each app boot, but it's been much less disruptive…

Hi @Ash If you have a variety of 3rd party users, then running your own IDP is the best bet. All current Atlassian DC products now support multi-IDP for SAML, so you can natively connect to your AD + other IDPs for SAML Depending on how many other parties are involved, and how many users there are from each party will…

Hi, At a guess, this would be related to Atlassian's EOL for Server/related products - https://www.atlassian.com/migration/assess/journey-to-cloud (see "Which products does the end of life apply to?" for the Marketplace references). While renewals for existing Server marketplace licenses still appear to be available for…

Hey @Adam Lucia Given the debug log shows that the authentication is successful, my guess would be checking that the SSH key is definitely configured against the correct user. Apart from that (and you may well have done that already), nothing else stands out sorry CCM

@Doug Matthews I'm wondering if there's multiple SPF records for the domain, and the validation logic is checking one record, but you're looking at another. There's a good chance you already had an existing SPF record on your domain - eg: if you use Microsoft O365 for email, your domain likely had something like "v=spf1…

Hi @Kirk Bratvold I think it depends on the relationship (current and ongoing) and the expertise available or both AAA and BBB. 1 - The easy way (given there's only the 1 project in AAA's instance) - is to transfer ownership of the whole product. BBB can then chose to leave it as a stand-alone product, or migrate the data…

Hi @Shaumik If you add ?expand=changelog to that endpoint (eg: /rest/api/latest/issue/PRJ-123?expand=changelog ) you can then itterate through changelog.histories[].items[] and look for the field resolution being changed, and that stub has the author of the change CCM

Hi @c I'm guessing that https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/transfer-repository-ownership/ would be what you're referring to? CCM

Hey @zhangyifei A good check to see if a product is impacted by a CVE is to search JAC - eg: https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=text%20~%20%22CVE-2020-13936%22 It's no guarantee, but it is an indicator CCM

Hey Gaby, Always happy to see progress like this! CCM

Hey @Sarah Ingham There does not appear to be an option to change the time display format (only the timezone) CCM

I'm guessing that if the team running the target instance are reluctant to match versions, then they have existing content you're trying to merge with, so you couldn't use the site export/import option anyway as it would overwrite the target instance. We've used the process in the KB @Utkarsh Agarwal mentioned to resolve…
-
Hey @Jonathan Duncan There definitely doesn't appear to be a multi-domain option in the standard UI, but it may be worth contacting Atlassian support and asking if they can assist somehow on the backend (there's a not on the DNS config page saying they'll help with CDNs that require additional setup). If not, the redirect…

Hey @John Hilgedick Looking at the XHR requests made when viewing the reports page, there does not appear to be any REST endpoints that the web-ui is using, and there's nothing on the Jira REST API docs either. You could achieve something similar by making multiple calls to the JQL REST (1 for the resolved tickets, 1 for…

Hey @Walter Davies Stash was the previous name of Bitbucket on-premise ( https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-rebrand-faq-779298912.html#BitbucketrebrandFAQ-WhydidwerebrandStashtoBitbucketServer? ) As for Bitbucket Cloud, I don't believe the Cloud products currently support group nesting. We currently…

Deep breaths are always a very important step in debugging! Glad to hear it's working again. I'm wondering if there was some confusion in the order of loading plugins and it got itself in a a dependency loop/hell. CCM

Hi, You'd need to look through https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/proxying-atlassian-server-applications-with-apache-http-server-mod_proxy_http-806032611.html to help with getting your Jira application running behind a web proxy. CCM

You won't be able to do any project consolidation using the Migration tool itself, any changes like this would need to be done by native/other Jira tools prior to using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant CCM

I've just tried adding the regex above in our on-prem Jira DC (8.13.x on psql) and it saved/rendered as expected. ^(?:[A-Z]{2})?\d(15,)$ Have you tried saving a more basic version of the regex to see if that works, then expanding to see where the breaking point is? CCM

Our current Friday evenings usually consist of a dusk drive through the hinterland/mountains - windows down, music up. It's a good covid safe way to unwind after a week sitting in a home office! This is a significant change from when a Friday evening was ordering take away and sitting at home cause we'd been in offices all…

Hey @[deleted] https://confluence.atlassian.com/security/multiple-products-security-advisory-log4j-vulnerable-to-remote-code-execution-cve-2021-44228-1103069934.html has a summary that includes: Some self-managed products use an Atlassian-maintained fork of Log4j 1.2.17, which is not vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228. We have…

Hey @Christophe Daguin If you're using a JSM project, then by default, the user should only have access to issues where they're the reporter, so in this case you could achieve what you wanted by the agents being the reporters, but having an Impacted User user picker custom field where the agent selects the user they're…

Hi @Roland Häßler So you want to keep the user active, but remove the non-used sites, correct? If this is the case, I believe you need to be the admin of the site as well as having the domains claimed. With a claimed domain you can disable an entire account, but not selectively remove products for a still enabled user. CCM

Hi @Daniel Simard https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-15694 states a few possible reasons: The two main contributors to build time variations on Pipelines are: * External resources, like Docker images or dependencies that need to be downloaded from the internet. These sometimes vary a lot in how long they take to…
