@Kendra Branker without knowing the workspaceID we cannot tell you what state the workspace is in. Please share the workspaceID(example format https://bitbucket.org/workspaceID ) Once you share, our support team will be able to help with the next steps. Thank you

@arzcode If your workspace would have been deactivated, you wouldn't be able to push or pull code from it... I have checked your profile and the workspace you mentioned is associated with your other profile and a different email address from the one you have created this comment with. Both your user profile and the…

@tshatrov Apologies that you had missed the announcement. We used multiple notification channels: - direct email to all Admins of workspaces where features are being used - persistent UI messaging across multiple relevant Bitbucket screens - API announcements and relevant response messages

@tshatrov Hi there, the sunset warning message was implemented in the BB UI across multiple screens for the last 6 months with the message that the feature is going away on August 20, 2026. We wanted to make sure that customers take the time and export the content or migrate before the deadline. I'll have our Support team…

Hi @padmanabha_kamath There are a few ways you could accomplish that: - using Bitbucket readme and link to a Confluence or a Jira project - using Jira task tracking - integrate your Bitbucket workspace with Jira software and enable Smart Commits - by assigning Jira work items to individuals, in which case they would be…

@Ashish Kumar _IT_ Hi there, correct, linking your workspace to an Atlassian organization will not impact any of your repositories, workspace URL or any of your environments for deployments. Please go ahead with linking, to ensure that your Bitbucket workspace is connected to the Org of your choice where you might already…
-
@Developers you can link both, but it has to be done one at a time. You would like the fist one and then repeat the steps to link the second one. Cheers
-
Hi @Jimmy Dionas I have checked your profile and I do not see any workspaces under your profile that are deactivated. I would need to know the workspace slug to be able to check for you. Also note, in order to be able to reactivate your workspace, you must be a workspace Admin, under your current profile, I do not see any…

@barried On August 20th 2026, we will be removing Wikis and Issues features and their content, that includes images. With the features removal, all content will be deleted. We encourage users to use the export and images download options to download the images that would want to preserve and upload to Jira or other issue…
-
Hi @kirillbk the self recovery flow we put in place allows users to self serve the reactivation. I just checked and I can see that all those workspaces were re-activated. Cheers
-
Hi @valtersimes37 I have reactivated your workspaces for you. Please try and access them now. Cheers
-
@Alex I'm checking on the banner appearance, thx for reporting. It is hard for me to look into your profile without knowing your old workspaceID. Your current profile was created only a day ago and doesn't have any workspaces. If you still need help, please reach out to our support team in a separate community question and…
-
@Ovidiu Gabriel Thank you for sharing, I would encourage you to reach out to our billing team, by raising a ticket here https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing?redirectSource=sac-wac-redirect#/ to get help with moving your Rovodev subscription! Our teams will be happy to look into your issues and…

@Karlo Both your workspaces and repositories are active and have not been deleted. You do not have a workspaces under this profile that is 10 years old, the oldest one was created in 2022 and has 82 repositories. Please see my comment above on how to navigate to it. If you are not able to see the workspace that you are…
-
@Vindorable You currently have 2 workspaces, one was crated in 2016 and has 43 repositories and the second one was created on May 11, 2026 with 0 repositories. Both workspaces are under your profile that was used to create your comment above. When logged in to Bitbucket account, click on your avatar in the top right corner…
-
@oreh911 Are you able to share a screen shot ? The blue box in the UI should have a link to take you to the list of workspaces that are deactivated and when you click into one of them, you should be taken through a flow to recover it ... I was able to look into your profile and have now reactivated your account. You should…
-
@Atiq I tested the Wiki clone with SSH, everything seems to be working for me. If you are having issues, please either submit a support ticket, or create a new Community post asking for help and our Community support team will help you get this sorted. To clarify, we added UI messaging for Issues and Wikis stating the…
-
@Piotr Kostrzewa We did send emails to all workspace Admins, so if your other workspace is associated with your university email , then the email was sent there. I need more details for your other workspace to check the status. Since you already have a paid Bitbucket workspaces, I suggest creating a support ticket and…
-
@axeva I have reactivated your workspace and its content, please try now and confirm you can access it! Cheers
-
@Ron Laws if you have your old remote repos URL, it shouldn't be hard to figure out the profile they are under... but if you do not and that code was associated with the email you do not remember, then yes, not much we can do to help.
-
@Paulius Danėnas The workspace you mentioned in your comment is active, accessible and no content has been deleted. However it is associated with a different profile from the one you used to make this comment. As long as you remember the correct email address the workspace is associated with, you will be able to access the…

@Campbell Brown You can export the issues to preserve them in JSON format. With the export functionality or migration to Jira the images attached to issues are not preserved, only their original name is with the URL. To preserve images, you will need to download them and re-upload to either Jira or keep locally for backup.
-
@aldocaruso There is no automatic tool to migrate Wiki to Confluence. Since Wikis are just pages, you will need to copy the content and paste into a new Confluence page, organizing them in any format you see fit. After that you can create a Readme file in your BB…
-
@Eyke Thank you for your question. With open source, you can still have your repositories set to public and with Jira you can enable Public forms to allow users to submit a feature request that then is turned into a Jira work Item, please see more details here:…
-
@Ovidiu Gabriel Thank you for your feedback. We know changes like this are hard. We’re retiring Bitbucket Issues and Wikis to improve reliability and bring Bitbucket onto Atlassian platform. This means offering unified billing and user management, and including Bitbucket data in Rovo. I understand Jira can feel complex,…
-
Hi @Friedrich Müller Yes, those are the features that are being sunset and will be fully removed from Bitbucket on August 20, 2026.
-
@Mark Fortner There is no change to cost and if you are new to Jira, you can get a Jira instance free for up to 10 users. https://www.atlassian.com/software/free
-
@Adam Setch There is no immediate solution that exists today to accommodate your request, I have created a feature request for it to track customers interest: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-24056 encourage you to vote for it. Thank you
-
@Jeff S By linking your second Bitbucket workspace to your primary company org, will not change user's apps access at this time. Users that have access will continue to have access. Later this year, we will be migrating all workspaces to centralized user management. We already offer it on demand too and it doesn't require…

@Julie Leonard I'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience trying to raise a support ticket. Let me have a member of our support team reach out to you and help you achieve your goal with creating a new Bitbucket workspace under a correct Atlassian Org. Thank you
