This is so exciting! Can't wait to automate my weekly meeting notes :)

Thanks for your feedback everyone! We hear you and have extended the EAP to continue incorporating your feedback. We've addressed the most frequently asked questions in this FAQ post in the EAP community group - please check it out and continue to let us know how we can make this feature the best it can be.

Great to get more validation on the read-only user type. To start solving this problem, we are currently running experiments with view-only pages - i.e. anyone with the link can view. @Even André Fiskvik EAP is Early Access Program - you can sign up here: https://surveys.atlassian.com/jfe/form/SV_7NUqoJlLNHoQ8aW @Jaime…

Hey Everyone! Thank you so much for your interest in external collaboration and all of these great questions! I answered a few of the top questions below, but feel free to join the private community group where we will be sharing more details as the early access program progresses. What is the fee for adding a guest user?…

Hi all, we’ve been hard at work on external collaboration and are excited to announce that we’ll be opening up an Early Access Program very soon. We’ll post the sign-up form right here in the community so be sure to keep an eye out! With regards to pricing: for our first version of external collaboration, it was important…

@Mirco You can use the export to iCal feature to download a calendar file of your events! Currently, there's no way to automate this but once we launch Automation for Confluence in a few months you could set up a monthly rule to do an export. Hopefully this helps :)
-
@Guy Langlois great question. PM on Confluence Automation here. Cross-product rules like the one you've outlined above are at the very top of our list to add to Automation for Confluence & Jira. We're already working on plans to support the rule you outlined (and other cross-product rules like it) into the Atlassian…

Hi @Philip Colmer I'm so sorry about the scheduling confusion - I was under the impression you were getting update notes with more details through Calendly when I moved the events (Friday I was out sick, and Monday is a public holiday). I'll coordinate via email if you'd still like to find time to chat. I hear your…

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We recognize that this is not an optimal change for all of our customers, and we hope to add more value to Confluence so that our plans will accommodate all of our customers. If you need assistance with deactivating team calendars, your Premium trial, or have more questions, you can reach…

We know this isn’t optimal for everyone, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We’re moving Team Calendars to Premium because we believe it's a great feature for growing customers who need additional Confluence functionality to scale. If you are on an annual subscription plan, you are now on a Confluence Cloud Premium…

@Gerald this is still under consideration. Do you have feedback on how we should price these users? Consider, external collaborators are still able to fully collaborate in Confluence - create, edit, comment - if the admin chooses. Their restrictions are on user information (people directory, user search, user pickers) and…

@Alan Lee separation of permission is merged and behind a feature flag! We will roll it out gradually. @yurymakarychev Children Display is in progress now and should be shipped to production next week.
-
Wow, thank you to everyone for the feedback and engagement! Again, I'd like to emphasize that the feature is in Beta for precisely this reason - we want your feedback as we build out more of the functionality, and the comments here are great validation for our archiving roadmap priorities. Our current priorities are as…
-
@Christian Wuerdig thanks for the suggestion! Can you give a bit more detail as to why you want this macro? How would you and your team use it?
-
@Joe White this is great feedback. We're actually updating the permissions this week to have a separate permission for archiving for precisely this reason. For context, we started with the simplest technical implementation in order to unblock the release, (and smaller user set as we work out the kinks in the feature) and…

@Dan Winkler Thanks for the feedback and for actively contributing to the community! My apologies for putting a bad link in there. Everything on the ticket is summarized in this post so for simplicity I've removed the link - it didn't add any additional value. Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi @Hamed Hassanzadeh! I'm a product manager on Confluence Cloud working on the External Collaboration feature. We have two versions of External Collaboration coming out soon: 1) The sharing of one page to external users - think, "anyone can view this link" - which is planned for Confluence Standard. 2) The sharing of an…

@Kelvin A Hill @Charisma Riley Hi Kelvin, thanks for looping @Jessica Taylor in. I'm a Product Manager on Confluence Cloud Premium and I want to clear up the situation. The DIV macro is not currently, and will not in the future be offered as part of Confluence Cloud Premium. As explained by Confluence Cloud Product…

@John Wheeler Premium PM here - I hear your frustration. I can assure you that even with Premium, the large majority of our product investment is focused on delivering features to Standard, not to mention we've kept all existing features in Standard (none were moved behind a Premium paywall, and we don't plan to do so in…
