Danny, I think, an correct me if i'm wrong, or maybe i'm projecting, but we would love to then convert these Action items into a Jira Task to then add to the next sprint. Do you know if that's possible? I was looking at Agents quickly but couldn't see anything.

Hi @Jason Chayer couldn't you use the Whiteboarding tool in Confluence? That way you can facilitate a 'seamless' connection with your Jira Issues and keeps all of your data within Atlassian.
-
Love this @Sandra Franchetto Suspend judgement, and hold the space for everyone!
-
Completely agree @John Funk! It's the pre-eminent skill of them all.
-
Thanks @Amoerzi I completely agree with your point of view here! The larger and more complex the entity, the 'simpler' things get. My observation is that measuring team practices as an input to their performance gets dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. This is usually at the expense of truly understanding a…

Hi @OriO, just for clarification, the above is calculating planned vs actual (you can see the ticket number/issue key per item above) per item; we just so happen to also provide this at the team/sprint level. Also, we have a freemium version available. Let me know if you can help you get to your insights any sooner.…

Hi @ori gal I can't answer your question upfront on how to how to set the rule, but I was interested in your primary question of how to compare actual days spent on the ticket relative to the cost estimation. Umano has a possible lens on that for you in its Capacity metric. For the assigned tickets in a sprint, this…

Hi @Haddon Fisher , (Disclaimer: Vendor also!) Further to Dan's response, another 3rd party alternative for consideration is Umano's Team Performance Summary. Drawing from Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Github, GitLab, Slack (and others), Umano provides plug-and-play end to end optics and guidance into how teams Design,…

@Dave Mathijs I love this book! Such a formative read for anyone looking at another frame on the pillars of performance. Thanks for reminding me. Must go and have a refresh...
-
Hi @Mireille, further to Craig's suggestion, Umano can provide individualised optics and guidance on team's sprint performance (from 25+ agile workflow metrics) for each of the parallel sprints, rather than the aggregated view that Jira is only able to provide/. Let me know if you have any questions. Have fun!

Hi @Kevin Dickson looks like you need to use components for the set-up. Here are two links to get you on your way: - Organise work with components - Managing Multiple teams If you're struggling to get the performance optics at the different levels in Advance Roadmaps, Umano (disclosure - I'm founder) can then report…

Thanks @G subramanyam and to you and yours!

You've made me rethink my plans @Peter Van de Voorde !

Focussing on people first and being values led (i.e. having your practices grounded in the Agile principles) will always be the way forward! Thanks for sharing @Peter Van de Voorde !

Hey @Peter Van de Voorde , this is great! Such an important message that actually supports operating at a higher functionality in life in all aspects, as distractions are the primary killer of focus, and focus is one of the primary attributes of presence; the presence of mind, heart and spirit to be fully alive in the…

Hi @andrew_pass One tool that may help is Umano’s Team Performance Summary (full disclosure, I’m the founder 😉) . We offer a range of different metrics to help team’s improve their agile practices and feel more confident and effective in they way they deliver, pulling data from Bitbucket, as well as Jira, Confluence and…

@Somtochukwu Ofodum, Depending on how big your QA team is, I agree with @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-. If you're like us, we have QA integrated within our flow, and have a separate column in our board prior to 'Done'. As @Karolina Wons_SaaSJet suggests, you can then track the time issues spend in the QA status, relative to all…

Hi @Michael Davis nice to meet you! Looking forward to sharing more along the way.

@Vicky Jotwani Hi! Nice to meet you; looking forward to sharing learnings!

Hi @fariba_peyhani 👋🏻, I agree with @Jose Luis Gaitan, that metrics are best adopted and accepted when it’s agreed with the team why and how they’re going to be used, based on their maturity of using insights to improve. And, I always suggest the team identifies ONE practice to focus on that they want to improve. Then they…

Hi @Cristiano Sticca Another off-the-shelf web app alternative for mapping insights across multiple repositories is our Team Performance Summary from umano.tech. By connecting a Jira Board, and then supporting bitbucket repositories (as many as you want per board), you’ll see on your project space, insights and trends…

Hi @Luis Dominguez, As an alternative, Umano's Team Performance Summary includes reports on all completed sprints, in one single view. This allows you to track team health across 9 vital metrics of team proficiency overtime, as far back as you want to see. Using 9 (and more added all the time) vital metrics of team…

Hi @Sangeetha, welcome to the community! As @John Funk mentions, individual metrics will leave your team open to lots of anti-patterns and funny business. It takes a super strong company-wide culture of transparency and meritocracy to juggle this balance and apply measures genuinely in the context to fuel growth and…

Thanks @Bud Herz We totally get the use case, but aren't serving it right now. Hopefully you'll find an easy solution crop up from another alternative here in the marketplace. Good luck! BTW, just in relation into the differences between Umano and the Control Chart, we like to feel Umano assists with greater context on…

Hi @Bud Herz Another off-the-shelf web app alternative for mapping total time is our Team Performance Summary from umano.tech. To @Bill Sheboy's point above, are you linking your defects with a story? We can measure it within the total time of story when a defect is created as a sub-task. If you're not, what you'll see on…

Hi @Tristan Munthree welcome to the community, although I'm still relatively new around here myself. Further to Bill's question above, if you're focussed on how you can best support your team's performance rather than specifically looking to track individuals, we can help you at Umano.tech. We're less focussed on the…

Hi @Brendan Gray It looks like you now have lots of options above to consider for your reporting needs. As an alternative to those mentioned, Umano.tech's Team Performance Summary reports on the agile practices of teams in sprint or kanban intervals. Predefined agile success metrics enable greater team observability not…
