@Kim Twombly welcome to the community :) Trello has a native export feature that is available on the Premium plan. If you're on Free or Standard, there are plenty of power-ups that give you reports of cards which you can then export (search in the directory "report" or "export"). One free option is dashcards. You can…

@Heather Hastings I'd recommend checking out this guide for a list of all the current Trello consultants: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Trello-Consultants-Right-Here-In-The-Community/ba-p/1983694 (I'm on there as well ☺️)

Oh strange! I'm not sure why that would happen 🤔 maybe there's a space in there somewhere? Have a look at this guide under "How to use a pattern to customize your report". It gives an example of formatting your report using bullet points. Maybe create a test and copy that exact text in the guide into the pattern field to…

Hi @Tamás Mogyorósi thanks for the additional context! Yes, that all makes sense :) where are you storing the contact information? Do you use custom fields for this? You can take the value from the custom field and apply it in your rule. (See here) So, for example, let's say you have a custom field called "Email" and you'd…

@Yusra Ameen Sounds like it's permanently deleted - it's either closed or permanently deleted. There's no "temporarily deleted". If you try to search for it and nothing comes up, then it's gone. I'm a community leader, I don't work for Trello. If you're wanting to speak to a Trello rep you can reach out to them…

Yes, that's right! The hyphen will give you a bullet point.

@Jonas Spring have a look at email to card. See: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-cards-by-email/ scroll down to the bottom under "Email comments to card". I'd suggest creating a contact and saving it as something like "Trello - client name" so it's easy to find whenever you want to send an email to that…
-
@Rachael Chiricosta welcome to the community 😊 Try this instead: every weekday, create a report with all cards in list "Done" using pattern "{cardname} {carddescription}", and send an email notification to "rachael.chiricosta@austcommunitymedia.com.au" with subject "Daily Story Link Report" and message "Please find your…

@Kelvin Valdes unfortunately "created by" is not a search operator Trello offers. You could create a butler rule to automatically add the creator name to a custom field or label, but this wouldn't apply retroactively. Is there any unique identifier in the card title or specific labels that could help narrow down your…

@Farah Abdullah welcome to the community 🙂 the ability to assign members/dates to the card level is a free feature. However, assigning members/dates to the checklist item level is a paid feature.
-
@William Hofer there are different ways to approach this depending on your workflow. One way is to use linked cards as shown below: Or use linked checklist items: All you're doing is copying the card and pasting it into another card (you can use the ctrl + c / ctrl + v shortcut to make things easier). Once the cards are…

Hi @William Hofer 1. Rules are created at the user level. Board admins can view all rules enabled on the board. See here. 2. See "Share automation buttons" here. 3. I believe it stays enabled on the board, however, it will run into an error when trying to execute the automation and fail. The "performer" of the automation…

Oh great! Glad that's working for you now 🙂
-
Then it's permanent, so that means it can't be reversed. Are you sure it's permanently deleted and not just closed?
-
You're very welcome! 😊

@Debby L are there other features you need from the standard or premium plan? If it's just for more boards, you could just create multiple workspaces within a single account. You can easily toggle between the boards; you don't need to switch accounts or anything. An easy way to find boards is to star them or use the "B"…

@Mattis PASSARD would it work to just use the following rule? when a card without custom field "Phone" set is added to the board, add the "Phone Missing" label to the card
-
@Benedikt Schwinkendorf welcome to the community :) Trello doesn't offer a start time field for the moment, but perhaps using something like Planyway will help?
-
Great I'm happy to help! Is the method of manually triaging cards from the "New cards for team assignment" list a normal part of your workflow? Or would you rather automatically triage them directly from the roadmap board? If so, you could achieve that with two rules: This rule would be enabled on your timeline board: when…
-
@Mathias Mohrs potentially using linked checklist items could be the way to go (automated through butler). So basically you would create a "parent card" on your roadmap board, and then add checklist items within that card. These would then automatically be sent to the respective team board and appear on their board as…

You're very welcome! 😊

Hi @Yusra Ameen check out this article: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/reopening-a-closed-board/
-
Hi @Aaron H it's 10 boards per workspace but you can create multiple workspaces within a single Trello account. You could view a workspace almost like a folder, so perhaps you could create different workspaces in order to categorise your boards (e.g. client type, industry, location, etc.)
-
Can you share what you've tried so far? If you want to go down the Butler route, Butler will need a way to know which existing cards to update. One way to do this is to have a sort of "master board". So perhaps you have this "Dialogue" card on your master board. Then attached to this card are all the other Dialogue cards…

Ok got it, sorry if my initial suggestion wasn't super clear, but that's basically what I was saying - so mirroring or sending information from one card to another. In your case, it's sending comments from one card to many across different boards. I'd suggest starting with the article I linked above which also includes…
-
What do you mean by message? I thought you were referring to card comments but sounds like you mean something else?
-
Hi @Frederike Hoenisch there are a few different ways to approach this but one way would be to create a board for each client and connect the client boards with the main board so everything is synced up. If a client is a member of only one board, they are considered a single-board guest and you won't be charged for these…

Assuming you only have one workspace: Standard plan: $10 Premium plan: $20 You have all the info here: https://trello.com/pricing
-
Hi @Marshall Feather ! Just so I'm clear on what you want to achieve, are you looking to mirror updates across boards? So if you make an update (e.g. add a comment to a card) it updates in all the other matching cards in your other boards? I'd suggest looking at this article to start…

@Jay Warmenhoven Teams and Trello are completely separate apps, so the user management will need to be managed separately. What you're looking at is an embedded version of trello.com from within the Teams app. A seperate Trello account would have been created in order to access Trello via Teams. If you're not able to…
