hm... really i checked it. i have the same problem... also creation throught the general button "Create" sending email to 'reporter', but 'reporter' can`t see this issue at the portal on his requests.

@Susan Hauth _Jira Queen_ . tell me , please, how customer can make it private in your case?
-
@Ron Hunt , This happens because a JQL-query restricts the type of tasks to the Initiative, therefore you cannot see the types (epic, task, subtask). try to create swimlanes under each specific initiative. Do you have a scriptrunner? Do I understand correctly that all the epics, tasks, subtasks have a direct connection…
-
also the have an excellent support team, they can help you in your case!

Hi @Steve Laycock ! ScriptRunner has a lot of useful docs. Look throught this article.(Getting Started)
-
Hi @Alexa LoMonaco try something like that: 0 15 8 ? * 6#2 8:15 am on the second Friday of every month. Also you can check docs.
-
Hi! Can you describe you case a bit more? What exactly do you want to find?
-
Hi. i know that ScriptRunner has usefull JQLs - like checking issues that were added after the sprint started. maybe it helps you
-
For case that I described - you can try JMWE. Post-function on creation with condition, where you will check the “actual issue type”, and send custom email. Or something like automation for jira or scriptrunner(listener), where creation of “actual issue type” will be trigger email sending.
-
Can you describe your case in more detail? If I understand you correctly, it is necessary that you, as a jira administrator, receive a notification to the mailbox with the text “User-1 just created a task with the actual issue type(for example, Task).”. Is this the desired result? What will it give you?
-
Also, check your global permission 'browse users'
-
Hi, look through this article - How does the user picker work in JIRA applications
-
the simpliest way - is classic issue search(basic or advaced). issuetype = Task ORDER BY createdDate DESC then you will see the latest "createdDate"
-
Hi! Are you talking about issue 'creation' on portal? What exactly does the Customer see instead of a drop-down list?
-
Hi! Some time ago we used - Parallel Approval Process for Jira However, quite recently, this plugin disappeared from the marketplace... and now it is available again. Or you can update any custom user-picker field on "approval transition" - try something like ScriptRunner or JMWE
-
Hi! You can try Queues for Jira Service Desk
-
that`s a pity( Thank`s Petterson!
-
you can try scriptrunner`s JQL - functions - https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html?utm_source=product-help#_linkedissuesof
-
if i correctly understand - you want to easily control linked issues of current user story? you can try scriptrunner JQL - functions - https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html?utm_source=product-help#_linkedissuesof
-
Hi! You can add a validar on issue creation, which will check that the current user (reporter) is in the required group or project role. For example, you can try JMWE or Scriptrunner,

@Thomas B , good story, thanks! Can you share your experience, what plugins do you use in Confluence? - as I understand it, in the beginning, you often had to store files and scattered network folders that are familiar to everyone, subfolders and so on. How did you organize it first? What have been achieved over time? -…
-
I also found another solution - a free plugin Related Issues, no need in writing scripts - just the JQL and the basic capabilities of the plugin are enough.
-
@Bob , thank you a lot! it works!
-
Hi! Thank you for answer! The guys from the Scriptrunner`s support team helped me to display the results of the JQL-filter in a custom field in a table form. But I don`t know how using JQL-functions get issues of "reporter of current issue", not "currentUser()"? The main task - Agent of service desk during processing…
