I am still not seeing this coming through for our site. We did all this preparation and user comms and now the rollout seems to have stopped. Can I please get an ETA for the rollout to our site?
-
I can see the search under project Issues screen but not in the global search screen. We very rarely use the former and usually use the latter. Any ETA on getting natural language search added to the global search screen?

Can this article be updated please? I've just noticed my Jira Premium bundled release has this scheduled for March now. I was told many times it was due by December and we have someone doing lots of clean-up work in preparing for the change. Can we get more information around scheduling of the change for Jira Premium…

Thanks for confirming. Along with Page Status, we won’t be using Page Owner until they can be incorporated in Page Properties Report.
-
Is the page owner queryable in the Page Properties Report Macro? Currently the page owner and page status in our pages are in a Page Properties macro. A page owner feature that isn’t queryable won’t be of use to us. This is a known gap in the recent page status feature.

Thanks for the documentation. I have a Confluence Cloud Premium intance on the continuous release track and I still don't see the "Manage connected data" icon on the table.

I'm still waiting for feedback from my comment on 5th June. How do I access this feature? I can't find any macros in my page. The documentation I can find looks nothing like my Confluence instance. I'm on Confluence Cloud Premium with Continuous release track so I should be running the latest. The post from May suggests…

I have verified his in our Jira Cloud Premium instance on a company-managed project. This is using the early access program for enhanced board and backlog. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-articles/Welcome-to-the-Early-Access-Program-for-Jira-s-enhanced-board/ba-p/2364509#M1276 It no longer shows the sprint…

This article needs an update as you can no longer get the sprint ID by hovering over the ... menu in the sprint board.

May 19 update: We've completed the rollout to all Confluence Cloud users. I can't see anything on my Confluence Premium Cloud instance. How do I access it? Tries searching for "connect", "table", "data" and "pivot" macros and can't see anything. Help please.

Based on my experience and the feedback on the thread, this change is currently being rolled out to cloud. If you're on a bundled release track check your bundled release contents as it may be coming soon.
-
@michael.chahley the change may not be rolled out to your instance yet.

This looks interesting but not a lot of use cases jump out at me (as opposed to Jira Automation that we use all the time). Does anyone have any useful use cases to share? The ones that come in the library don't look very exciting.

Are the missing issues "Done"? By default, anything older than 2 weeks is removed from the board. Have you checked the Statuses are mapped to the Columns? It's not sufficient to have Columns with the same name. You also need to drag the Statuses to the matching column. Do you have Story-based or Epic-based swimlanes? Those…

I'm very confused. I've tried a few combinations and it's not working. I added a mail handler of type "Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue" with no catch email address. This works fine when I send it to jira@mydomain.atlassian.net. But obviously that only supports one project. I don't understand how to…
-
I’m assuming if I want to create tickets in different projects I’ll use different mail handlers with different catch addresses. I’m using the default mail server with cloud so I don’t have access to IMAP folders.
-
Much appreciated. So my catch email address could be something like <project key>@<cloud domain>.atlassian.net?

@Dan Loeppky True, you're right. It will give you the correct sort but then it won't let you drag and drop ranking, which is probably not what you're looking for. My apologies for putting you wrong. The best way to do what you want is to order by Rank and then add Swimlanes by Query where you group the priorities into…
-
@dan If I understand what you're asking for, this is supported. You can sort by Priority then by Rank. You just can't sort by Rank then Priority since Rank is a unique sort so Priority would be ignored. @JD Lobue I think you're asking for the same thing, if I'm not mistaken? You want the highest Priority issues in the…

Yes, just add the Sprint field to the list of displayed fields in your AR plan. The Backlog view is ordered by Rank by default although you can change the sort if you want. Rank is not typically shown in the UI as the value is meaningless but it effectively gives you a global ordering of backlog items. I prefer this over…

That’s what Advanced Roadmaps is for. It not just for cross-team planning. It’s also for single-team planning when you need context of the higher level pieces of work. You can play around with view settings, filters and fields to get similar (but not identical) views to backlog and kanban. However you’ll still want to use…

> Why have an Epic Name if it's not going to be consistently used across Jira? That's exactly why the change is being made. To phase out the use of Epic Name in favour of Summary. A positive change in my opinion as it's currently a real pain. Most of the Jira projects we have use automation to keep Epic Name and Summary…
-
@Joris there are community articles like this one. The primary way is following the Jira Cloud Roadmap (Google it for the URL). If you have Jira Premium you can set your release track to Bundled and set a sandbox to Continuous then you can test new releases before they reach production.

Just found the page today and I am excited to see this feature. Our current solution is to use a Status macro in a Page Properties macro. We then use a Page Properties Report macro to report on page statuses. Unfortunately, the current feature has no way to report on it so we won't be using it. Perhaps add it to the Page…

> We are moving to Jira Cloud now, and I find it rather annoying that you can't copy Summary to Epic Name on Create. You can via Automation.
-
I don't grasp the rationale about using the epic summary instead of the epic name. To me they seem two different things. Could you please elaborate on this? * The summary being a descriptive text about what the epic is about. * The name being a short readable text to quickly identify the epic. I may have this wrong but my…

Sort by Rank is a unique sort so adding any subsequent sort criteria won’t do anything. You can sort by priority DESC, rank ASC.

I'll answer my own question after 16 months of usage. Best to use Start Date and Due Date. No need for Target/Planned Start and Target/Planned End as any Start Date/Due Date in the future is "target" and any Start Date/Du Date in the past is "actual".

Many thanks
