As an update for those ones who might be reading, in the end the only solution we found was to adopt this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/24982/scroll-word-exporter-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=server which actually works very well. Before a table you can place a specific macro where you can set the…

Hi all, As I haven't found any alternative, I've created our own decisionmark macro. which look like this in page Then, by Script, I'll search for the macro usage and collect the relevant information. import com.atlassian.sal.api.component.ComponentLocator import com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Page import…

Hi, @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_ , we're working with server version. We have our site installed on an AWS server, but it's managed by us (so it's like our own cloud). In the meanwhile I can confirm that since I posted my question I've continued to work on Firefox without typing issues. I'd say that inserting date picker macros…

Ciao @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ thanks for your answer. I'm finding this point hard to accept, and difficult to explain to my users. We need to be able to control the format of our dates, especially when printed/exported. I might end up fixing language settings as same for all users, Italian or English-US (more likely…

OK, then I'm sorry, I can't help, I'm writing and managing my scripts into the script editor, and then calling them from the console (or from jobs, endpoints, etc ..). Ciao, Andrea.
-
Hi, When running script from the Scriptrunner console all the needed valid resources from Adaptivist should be already available for import, isn't it. Ciao, Andrea
-
Thank you very much. Andrea.
-
Hi again, I guess I should include in your code an additional .with... to indicate the Space in want to search in, right? Ciao, Andrea
-
Hi @Tiffany Wortham thanks for your hint. I'll for sure give it a try. Just need to find a moment. Txs, Andrea

I guess it's still the same limited functionality. Anchors work only if you refer to them from inside Confluence (and not from an external web page) and only if you set the link as advanced link and only if you set the link using the page title, followed by # and by the anchor name. That means you'll loose the link, in…
-
Hi @Brant Schroeder sorry for very late feedback. Thanks for your hint. I'll give it a try for sure.
-
Thank you @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- Just don't understand how Data Center would help in this case. It's still a subscription based license, and the users threshold is 500 ... I actually forgot to mention that we're only about 50 happy users (a bit less happy now... :-)). I agree that waiting a bit is the best way, at least…

Corrected this section of my previous code Added .title and .key Ciao, Andrea

I still see a big problem when trying to link to anchors from outside confluence, eg from a web page, a pdf file, email or whatever else. In these cases I normally use the absolute link to the page Id (from "Share link"), because page titles might change. If I try to add #anchor name to these links, it just goes to the…
-
OOps, sorry for this, I just missed that you were referring to the cloud version. Sorry.
-
Hi @Matias Andrés Castañón the anchor macro is still there and cn be placed anywhere on your page, and the referred to. See here for details https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf74/anchors-1003128455.html Given that you have to choose advanced, when you setup the link, in my opinion the biggest limitation I see is when you…

Hi, my management is not against cloud in principle, and we already use several cloud services. Our Confluence instance (server) is already located on a cloud server, and no more on a physical server within the company. But we're always in control of every detail of the configuration and, even more, we can always decide to…
-
HI @Vincent DEBOSSE I guess that what they are stopping is the issue of new server licenses, and not canceling the existing ones. The main difference between the server and cloud licence, so far, was that the server licence had no expiration (it's not a subscription). When we pay, yearly, for the renewal it's meant to be…
-
Hi @intona for us the main issue is not the location of the data, given that we're already using a cloud server. Or at least it wasn't a problem so far. The real problem for us, at the moment is that we're facing a user experience which is really worse than what we were used to. And I'm not talking about different menus,…

Thanks!

Hello @Joshua Sneed Contegix and thanks for your answer. I had actually already read those pages, but didn't find anything that works for me. I don't need to set the table width, as to me it's OK to have it using all the available page width. It seems like the only change I could add is to say to fix all the columns to the…

Hi Ramki, thanks for your feedback. In case of issues with content size I'll consider it. actually I have started to use StringWriter, so a sample code is the following (it's still ugly, but it works). import com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Page import com.atlassian.confluence.pages.PageManager import…

OK, there's a feature request, I've seen it now, and I will wait... How can this be considered not a basic function? I really can't understand, honestly, but thanks for your time. Ciao, Andrea

@Diego any comments? I'm trying to deal with this but ... wouldn't it be much easier to have a column with the deletion date in the trash can view? Wouldn't it be quite simple for you to add it? Thanks Anyway, Ciao, Andrea
-
Hi @Diego , thanks a lot. This log can actually be very useful. I just don't understand how to use the filter, to better define queries to view only the lines I need. Eg I'd like to filter out the Scriptrunner event type lines, then search only the deletion events, etc... Thanks, Andrea

@Ivan Lima thnks for your answer. I'm now one of this ticket's watcher. Got the feeling that I'd better rename my labels as it doesn't seem to be high priority. Ciao, Andrea.

Update. I did it in the most stupid way for now, that means I run the update twice. The first one to send text content (it makes just a blank page), and the second one to send the table. In this way I move 2 versions forward instead than just one, but it works. I pray for suggestions on how to write a better code... :-)

Hi Nic, thanks for feedback. The problem we're facing is that we'd like need to allow several users from multiple machines and mobiles, also from ouside our organization. Of course we'll encourage the use of password safes, but what I'd like to find is to limitate in somw way the further risk of access from unknown users…
-
Excuse me @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- but I haven't completely understood your sentence. Do you mean we should have installed specific third part password management software, which needs (for its way to work) to find the browsers allowing for autocompletion? The scenario we deal with is to have some users (especially…

Done! It's was just a matter of introducing def mkp = new MarkupBuilderHelper(xml) and then, when defining the table, using td{ mkp.yieldUnescaped('<p><b>20/11/19-A.Boerio:</b>Ciao</p>') } instead of td('<p><b>20/11/19-A.Boerio:</b>Ciao</p>') So simple ... when you know it :-(
