Try this plugin ; https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211611/configuration-manager-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview Not sure if it satisfies your requirement.
-
Well, DIY is the best teacher. If you have a DEV Environment - best place to start.
-
One point though - you can create a support ticket even if you are on a free version of JIRA.
-
If there are any trial license to be applied - have you applied them ?
-
What plugin have you installed ? Can you share with us an image of the plugin and its various modules ?
-
And is your plugin still disabled ? Or was it disabled just one time after installation ?

6.6 is an Enterprise Release - there has been massive changes with this release. So kindly read this ; https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-6-6-upgrade-notes-940116155.html#Confluence6.6UpgradeNotes-upgradingfrom5UpgradingfromConfluence5.x? Upgrading to 6.6 will basically get your grounds ready for Version 7…
-
You can - but there has been a lot of additions and removals in between. I suggest you jump from 5.8.5 to 6.6 And then from 6.6 to the Version 7. Please take care of database and many other aspects - there are massive changes to DB compatibilities - setup , added bugs . Read release and upgrade notes. Pump up memories -…
-
Yup - skip'em . And continue. Also incase you miss anything , you can always run queries to fix them in the database - as long as the server is installed well.
-
Ooops - I didn't see that , my bad . I'd suggest you reach out to Atlassian Support if it reoccurs.
-
Instruction 4 and 5 are for Windows - you are on Linux :-)
-
I do not see any outage or active incidents on Atlassian Statuspage - yet , I'd advise you to contact Atlassian Support - maybe you are first among users affected by some incident.
-
Yes - we've faced such issues before but nothing to panic. I have seen it fixing itself during JIRA restarts - but do ensure that your plugins gets good amount of time to start during jira startup. Also, ensure you have sufficient JVM in your JIRA environment.
-
Ask JIRA Admin of your organization - he/she has super user access to everything including changing the Lead on a Project.
-
Please go through this documentation ; https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-data-center-1507377.html

I agree with @DPKJ As per my experience with Atlassian Tools Upgrades, I'd give you the following advices ; 1) Know your current environment well. * This will involve what plugin versions you are running - if you still need them after upgrade - do they have the version that is compatible with your new JIRA version * Your…

It would be interesting to know how you have implemented JIRA in HR Department. I am primarily an IT Guy so I have seen JIRA implemented for IT Guys. For my personal work, I use Trello. Can you give us more insight on how you do it ?

It doesn't make sense to add tasks. sub-tasks after the sprint is closed. The whole concept of having a sprint and working agile gets defeated if you intend to keep adding in and removing from sprint. If you notice - even when a sprint is in progress, adding new issues, tasks, sub-tasks brings changes in sprint goals and…

Hello, I am not sure of notifications at Board Level - but you surely can work on notification schemes inside JIRA that primarily works in tandem with Project and Issues . It all depends on what Notification Scheme your project ( where your board is ) has been configured to work. But it also depends at user profile level -…
-
You should first upgrade from 6.4.6 to 7.0 first . Your version is pretty old so you will need multiple upgrades before you reach 8

I like using Trello. For me - it is like the younger brother to JIRA :P . I try to use TRELLO via SLACK - I connect, list, search , add, comment using SLACK. I guess we can have more relationship between Trello and SLACK :p . Best thing about TRELLO is that it is very easy to use and pretty idle for Project/Issue…
-
Yup - thanks. Your settings are correct. And as we count , 7days is the right number . Stephen has explained it comprehensively.
-
You mind sharing your Board Working Days and Non-Working Days Setting screenshot ?
-
I am assuming - there is a filesystem/path problem with your setup , can you verify your file paths ? Your DB Config file is under ..../DEV/.... but your indexes are under ...../PROD/.... Is everything right out there ? /opt/customer/Atlassian/DEV/Jira_Home/dbconfig.xml…

You should see an option like this one.
-
Frankly, if you are the JIRA Administrator yet if you don't see the Archive Project option , I'm sure you must be running on Standalone Server Version. You can log into the admin console and check System Info - you will have a good load of information out there.
-
Maybe a combination of JIRA and Confluence perhaps - thinking of PhD the first thing that comes to my mind is lots of documentation so Confluence will have a big role to play there.
-
Do you have access to confluence in general and to spaces and pages other than this ? If you do , I guess it's either permission issues or maybe the page is moved . Try looking out for an administrator in your firm and have him/her checked.
-
Pooja - can you confirm if you have access rights to that particular page ?
-
What's your bitbucket version ? Is it in-prem or cloud version ?
