Are you able to access your account now ?
-
I'm surprised that even new indexes aren't working - how good are your exports that you've taken from the current production setup ? And how does your database for the dev look like ? does it have all the prerequisites before you populated it with your data from production?
-
Are there any more error messages in the logfile ?
-
Unless - your source and target instances are of the same version , it is not recommended that you use backup of one version and restore it in an instance of another version. It will work but you never know what kind of issues prop up and when. Upgrades are pretty clean with JIRA - why don't you go for it ? Moving 6.13 to…
-
rename the current index directories that you have and restart the application - it should create a new set of index files by itself as it restarts and see how it goes.
-
Have you run a reindex already or not yet ?
-
I would suggest the following ; 1) Before you go for a hardware change - upgrade your current JIRA to 7.13 2) Take a backup of the new JIRA ( in old hardware) to new JIRA ( in new hardware) Use xml backup - it will pick up everything, but do ensure that you deal with attachments separately.
-
It is on JIRA Data Center Version . Are you on JIRA datacenter version ?
-
After the installation - have you tried restarting JIRA Server ? Maybe it will get enabled if you restart JIRA Server. Give it a try but please monitor the logs when it is loading plugins during restart. And I think .obr extension is fine.

Are you talking about access deny and allow via web server say apache http ?

You would be the best to judge you know - you know your firm best , maybe there are possibilities of your firm growing as time passes by , you may have a team of 3-7 but what if your team does very extensive documentation - 2GB maybe really small storage if some kind of digital marketing team is using confluence - I've…

If you check the pricing section again ; Say Confluence , for 10 users it is free - which also means that you have limited functionality, it is as good as running on evaluation license . You will also not get any Atlassian Support on the Free Option. You will be stuck with 10 users only. You can see that a lot of features…
-
Here you go - you will have a pretty interactive and detailed pricing details here for SD ; https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-desk/pricing For Confluence; https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing
-
Why don't you check the log while starting Confluence ? catalina.out could guide you from where to start when it comes to errors.
-
You may want to get in touch with Atlassian Support - have them restore the content and user from the backup they take and maintain.

You will find this very funny but the technique I used was this - I reordered 6 pages under one parent page. I moved that parent page ( it will move all the pages inside it too ) to other space. And then I rearranged all the child pages inside it in the new space haha. That's how I bulk migrated pages from one space to…
-
Go to the page that you want to move to another space. On the top right , click on dots - you will get an option called MOVE. Search for the space you want to move the page to and move it to a new space.

How does your JIRA and ServiceNow authenticate users ? Don't you use some kind of a user directory - say Azure AD or a normal LDAP AD ? I'm sure the organization must have one common user directory services.
-
I guess the size of the database depends on your planning as to how much are you and your firm planning to use Confluence in near future - you may be able to conceive a rough idea of its growth.
-
Thank You.

Mucho Gusto :-)

For the first question , I think you can create your own calendar and use it so that SLA calculation is based on how your working days look like.
-
As you are already a paid account holder , please raise a ticket using the below support link ; https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ This is a community page - pretty active one , yet it is a community page and we all help each other based on how much we know :-) Using the support page can help you get a much better…

I would suggest you raise a Ticket to Atlassian on this with Billing as the issue. When on-prem , a developers' license can be used but I am not sure about a Test/DEV Licensing on Atlassian Cloud.
-
Dear Monika, There could be so many reasons to a slowdown - it could be your local network issues, there could be a database integration latency, there could be plugins issue , there could be jvm issue , or maybe there are some processes running and consuming memory. You will have to look into multiple scenarios.
-
It has a month of Free Trial version after which it is billed - similar like jira software on-prem licensing.
-
JIRA logs are based on log4j.properties files. You will have to make changes in log4j files for any changes in logs.
-
I didn't realize you were running Cloud Version - get in touch with Atlassian Support please.

Run a project index once and see if it works .
