Not a perfect solution but I guess you can add a gadget in your dashboard. The name of the gadget is projects - add it , edit it and select all projects you own and it will list out. The demerit here though is that if you own a new project - you will have to select it once to be displayed here.
-
I don't think you can list out projects in " issue " navigator
-
I would rather suggest adding all 800 users to one group and give that group the role in the project :-)
-
You can just create an Evaluation License and migrate - this license provides you everything that a normal license provides.
-
Please browse over to the channel you want to connect a project to. On the chat type; /jira connect And it should give you an option like in the image i attach
-
The port that you are using - I think it should be 3306 and not 8306

There is a thin line of difference between jira administrator and jira system administrator - though by default jira admin group is a member of jira system admin group, but by definition they should differ and only jira system adminstrator should have the permission to import and export backups.
-
Every user who is authorized to log in is assigned to one default group . Are those mac users assigned to any group in JIRA ? You need to verify that first under the user management section in jira. Usually, users are under the group jira-users.
-
I would suggest you to check all your setup from the beginning. Have you declared screens for specific issue types ? Have you associated your fields properly with proper screen and workflows ?
-
Ooops - I was not aware that the question is about Trello. I haven't seen close board option in JIRA :-)
-
I think you will have to get back to the basics of application. I don't think the process is even running at the moment. Can you check your java processes that are running and see if JIRA is running or not.
-
For outlook to communicate to jira - there has to be an account that gets authenticed and authorized for data and communication to flow between jira and outlook. So I do not see a problem there.
-
Were you ever able to access JIRA using the ip address and port of the server where JIRA is running ( most probably 8080) ? If this is also not accessible - you'll need to fix this first.
-
Please navigate to permission helper and check if you have the permissions to manage sprints
-
Maybe a generic user id with an email id that works more like a distribution email list ? You may not be able to mention users individually but I guess a generic with an email id as a distribution list can work as a work around.
-
Have you installed OutLook for JIRA plugin ?
-
Hey - what is tha plugin generally used for ?
-
Was it malfunctioning or something ? I do not see a reason for such an attachment security :p
-
Hello - are you talking about projects or boards ? I never had option to archive or close a board.
-
It is very much possible ; 1) You need to read all the release notes carefully - it will help you understand as to what's new in the new version you will be moving to and what you might not see in the new version. 2) Careful with all your plugins - looking at your path of upgrade , a lot of plugins and their respective…

JIRA Core is the heart of all JIRA types :-)
-
But I would strictly recommend you to read release notes of the latest version and see what are the differences between the two versions in order to see what is changing and what to expect. If you have a lot of customizations - ensure you know where they are located or applied so that you can check them , reapply them as…

Jira Core is the heart of Jira Software - so when you are upgrading JIRA Software , it means you are upgrading Core too. As for JIRA ServiceDesk, you can just do a simple update whenever there is any update - via the JIRA Admin Screen - Applications tab.
-
Thank you Nic - configured it successfully. I was stuck for some time as it didn't work - and then I realized that I haven't published the workflow. All good now.
-
That is some comprehensive testing result there. Thank you Marianne - you seem to have answered more than what we were expecting. You rock.
-
Agreed - and I think importing cert to JIRA keystore resolves the gadget display issue too.
-
Open file server.xml and change the port number - from 8090 to 8080 OR 8080 to 8090. After the change - restart Confluence.
-
I think I'd want you to do a review once again of everything of that user id ; 1) Group it belongs to 2) Roles that it has in the project 3) Permission scheme of the project 4) issue security scheme Having said that - is that user in the same role as rest of the devs in that particular project ?
-
Is the user a member of JHBDev group ? I see you have given permission on Group Level.
