Please provide some more information. When you say that you are unable to select the Parent Issue ( STORY ) what do you mean ? Are you not able to find the STORY under which you want to add this new STORY turned SubTask in ? I hope you know it already that you need to select a new STORY or Task now and add that new SubTask…

I have started using Atllassian JIRA Software ( Cloud ) for my personal use. I also do some simple stuffs on my Roadmap too. I used Trello in the past but I am back to JIRA again.
-
@John Funk Another user facing similar issue. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Srcum-Board-or-Kanban-Board-are-blank/qaq-p/2376543
-
Does that happen on some other browser too ? Also , you may want to check the browser tool and see what is happening with the request.

Is JIRA Admin able to move the issue ?
-
While trying to import issues using csv , there are multiple checks - he is asked to check the project where he/she would be creating issues using csv. I do not see much risks in it. They would anyway NOT BE able to update existing issues and would require your help for that. If they do not have create issue permissions in…

Have you tried using first and/or last names while searching for user ? I have had such issues in the past . Somehow finding users while adding them as board admin sometimes does not find the user. So I keep trying and I get it - first name sometimes , last names sometimes , sometimes I write lastname, firstname etc

Create a separate field configuration for your project and edit the description of the field on your project field configuration . That will at least change the description of the field for your specific project .
-
There are some plugins that allow you to do that. User Management for Confluence plugin - you can sort issues based on Groups they are in - their status ACTIVE/INACTIVE and then export it in xls.

Thanks. I have recently started using Analytics a lot. It helps me archive a lot of ideal SPACE. One thing though - archiving SPACE in Confluence seems to ineffective when compared to archiving Projects in JIRA. It just lets me categories SPACES. We should atleast be able to hide SPACES from users after archiving them.

@Sami Ahmed Shaik I think you can upgrade to the next LTS Release after 7.4. So maybe you can upgrade to Version 7.13 .
-
@Andrzej Kotas Thank you.

For the following point, I have a query. * Restricted anonymous access to REST endpoints ensures that you retain control over API endpoints. Some days back I implemented rate limiting in JIRA . As soon as I implemented , it started blocking an anonymous call. I thought it was a good thing that it detected api and that I…

Not for DC ? :(

I don't think you understood my problem definition. The macro : Create From Template, does not allow us to choose a template from the list of templates, when that macro is used while creating a global template. I have a global template , inserted the macro : Create From Template , and then tried to select from the list ,…

This is an amazing enhancement. Thank you.

Lovely , eye catching.
-
It does not show on the board. Check the menu bar - you will see a new option called Plan . That is where you create Program and Plans using roadmap plugin.
-
You mean you are using Atlassian Crowd so that you can administer Confluence Users via JIRA ?
-
ooops mistake - sorry
-
Looks like it.
-
When creating a project - one can use the configurations/filters of an existing project.
-
Try emptying the plugin directory - start JIRA without any plugin in the plugin folder , when JIRA is up and running , install those plugins back one bye one.
-
no backups ?
-
Both 7.13 and 8.5 are Long Term Support Release. An Atlassian Long Term Support release is a feature release that gets backported critical security updates and critical bug fixes during its entire two-year support window. If you can only upgrade once a year, consider upgrading to an LTS release
-
I'd suggest 7.13 and then over to 8.5 - two hops.

Thank you for the information. Considering that no SSO plugin is installed in destination JIRA - SSO configurations I am sure will remain inactive and unused . But I guess the moment I install and enable the SSO plugin ( I am using the first one from your list of plugins) , those imported configs will take effect ? My main…
-
That was a wonderful answer :-). Well, I am using the first plugin from the list that you have enlisted. ok - so I am to understand that the moment I install the SSO plugin in the destination JIRA, the SSO configs that were imported in the XML import will take effect. My only intent here is to avoid the destination JIRA…

Shouldn't be an issue. You can try TRELLO as well.

Free license - if not expired yet , should allow you to create as many users as you can. But if it has expired, you should be getting all sorts of notifications to let you know that your license has expired.
