An update to this question! You can now add products to your organisation via admin.atlassian.com from the Products menu. More info here: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/add-a-new-product-to-your-organization/

Your site has a URL, something like sitename.atlassian.net That URL will direct all users to a single product. You can set the landing product for that URL here: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/set-your-sites-landing-product/ If you change that landing product to be Confluence, then all your…

Thanks for the message, our teams always appreciate hearing how much customers enjoy our products!

Top Nav: Products > Manage Users (ellipses to right of product) This will take you to the list of users that have been invited to your site and who you can grant product access to within your site. This is all the documentation covering User Access…

Hi @Davoli Sandra, As @Prince Nyeche - ELFAPP suggested, you should contact your IT team, your manager, or your peers working in that project, to find out who the admin is for your site.
-
@Mazen El-Badrawy - Yes, you can do this by adding two of the same product, and only upgrading one. Obviously though, the data from JSW1 will not be visible in JSW2.@irina.korik - We are planning changes to the landing product setting, but not on the initial release, and I don't have a ETA for you yet.@Stephan Grubbe -…

Thanks for the feedback @Patrick Nelson, I've updated the article to include that.

Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback! The team really appreciates hearing them. I’ll try and answer as many questions as I can, apologies if I’ve missed some. Will this change impact/affect Bitbucket Cloud user management? @Patrick Chen and many others who asked - Initially no, this will only impact Jira Software,…

Hi @Daniel Ebers Good question! No, the User Management change is not related. This roadmap item relates to the release of the Enterprise Plan for products (e.g. https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/enterprise). But, the User Management change will help make the administration of multi-instance products much easier :)…

Hi Scott, There's a fairly good write up here about it: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/JIRA-Software-project-permission-restrict-user-access-to-one/qaq-p/779572 -Kieren

Hi Lucas, In addition to Alexis' reply, we're also currently working on building a unified user management area for all Atlassian products in an Organisation. You can track our progress here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-6733 Regards, -Kieren Atlassian, Identity, Product Manager

+1 to what Joshua said. And if you're interested, the colour is actually based on your Atlassian Account ID number.
-
Hi Salih, No sorry, we don't have any functions that would support that. Since you can sync groups from Okta to Atlassian, you could look into what functions Okta provide to create groups based on the user Department/Org, and then sync those groups to Atlassian?
-
Hi Salih, I'm not sure if this profile information is available via JQL. As an alternative, you could use the Group Names that your users are synced to, e.g. reporter in membersOf("hr-dept-users")

Hi Brendan, If you're able to get the information you need from the Jira & Confluence audit logs, I'd focus on that. If you have Atlassian Access, you could look at the Audit logs there: * If the user is a managed account, you can see when they were deactivated or deleted. * If the user had their site access removed, were…
-
Hi Stan, There's no feature that will allow you to send an email to users when their product access is removed. And we don't have any APIs that you could call to achieve the same outcome. The best workaround I could suggest is: * Take an extract of the user list, as a CSV file * Keep track of each user you remove product…

Hi Gershon, I'd recommend opening a support ticket with Atlassian to help answer your last questions, I'm not sure I can help more without being able to see your site and settings.
-
Hi Monica, It could be caused by a Chrome extension interfering with Trello. The error is usually related to your browser, try these troubleshooting steps on Chrome when you have a chance. Please ensure you're using a browser version that is supported: * Chrome - Latest stable release 1. Try to delete the appropriate…
-
Hi Gershon, Atlassian Access billing is applied to all users who you've completed a domain claim for and that use a product. That product doesn't need to be a product within your Organization, since the security settings are applied to every user you've claimed, regardless of who's product they are accessing. My guess is…

You'll need to add a new organization admin first, then use that new organization admin to remove your personal user/organization admin. To Add a new Organization Admin: * Navigate to your Organization on admin.atlassian.com * Then go to Settings > Administrators > Add administrators To remove an Organization Admin: *…

Hi Lori, What are you trying to change on the Primary Administrator? Their name? Their email address? Or are you looking to add a new user as the primary administrator? Regards, -Kieren Atlassian, Identity, Product Manager
-
Hi Paulino, There's a similar question here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Access-questions/How-do-I-remove-an-organization-admin/qaq-p/1140954 When a site-admin is also an Org admin, you can't revoke access directly, firstly you need to remove this user from the Org and then you can revoke the access.…

Hi, I'm not sure what the context is of this question, can you please provide more information? Do you mean everyone who signs up to an Atlassian Account will receive an email? Or everyone who's invited to use a product will receive an email? Cheers, -Kieren

Hi Elizabeth, You've hit the nail on the head with this problem, each product is on a separate site... They need to be merged into one site. To do this, you can migrate Confluence to the Jira site, or vice versa. There's more information on how to do this here:…
-
Atlassian Connect is the way that developers can hook into our products: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/integrating-with-jira-cloud/ I guess a better answer is: If it's some sort of automation that uses Atlassian approved APIs, then there should be no additional Jira/Confluence product license needed.…
-
Hi Luca, If the Atlassian App uses our Connect system to integrate with our products, then they do not take up a Jira/Confluence license. Regards, -Kieren Product Manager, Identity, Atlassian
-
Hi Bikram, This sounds like a problem you should raise with the support team, https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/. It's possible that the Bitbucket email system has blocked your email. Regards, -Kieren

Hi Alexis, You are able to claim multiple domains under a single Organization. https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/verify-a-domain-for-your-organization-873871234.html And as a User, you are able to be a part of multiple Organizations. But, a single domain can only be claimed by one Organization. e.g. Once Organization1…

In addition to what @Avinash Bhagawati _Appfire_ said: * If you have Jira Service Desk, then any user with only Site Access can potentially become a Help Seeker/Customer of a Jira Service Desk project. * Users with only Site Access are able to Request Access to any products in your site, via the Request Access function…
