Hi @ginxx009 Seems to me that you implemented everything that you need. What is not working exactly? Regards Dave
-
Hi @Leon You can't change it. But you could point your own (sub) domain to the url in the dns settings of the domain. Regards Dave
-
No problem, If it worked, please accept this answer so that if anyone is having the same problem knows this is the solution. Regards Dave

Hi @Abizar Dholfar Seen as this is a cloud plugin, i think there is not a lot we can do about it in the community. Try with different browser and see if it works, but I suggest contacting the developer anyways. Regards Dave

Maybe this article could be of use for you https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Generating-a-Python-REST-Client-for-Jira-Cloud/ba-p/1747050

In that case you should have performed what is writen in the documentation link i previously mentioned. i'm not sure if this will still work after the upgrade as the instructions mention you have to perform 1 query already before (and 1 after) the upgrade. If you have a backup (install, and data folders + database), i…

You are talking about the version of Jira and not about the version of the plugin and i'm talking about the version of the plugin. They have different version numbers! (8.5.3 doesn't even exists for the plugin)

Hi @Novaria Lasher Welcome to the community We can help you if you don't understand something, need advice, ... But we are just a community and we cannot 'fix' the tool for you. You will need to contact Atlassian support for this. https://support.atlassian.com/ Regards Dave

Hi @Terence Ma What version was insights on and to what did you upgrade it? If the old version was before 8.4 you should take a look at this page. https://documentation.mindville.com/insight/latest/preparing-for-insight-version-8-4-36953678.html Regards Dave

Hi @eleanor kerman go to 'automation' in the backend where you can find and manage all your automation rules Cog => system => Automation rules Click on usage and there you can find what you are looking for Regards Dave
-
Hi @vineet_kumar If i'm understanding correctly, you have a platform of your own and from that platform you want to create issues in Jira. If i'm correct you can use the rest api Cloud: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v2/api-group-issues/#api-rest-api-2-issue-post…

Hi @Esther Amunga In the issue itself you have the activity section (where the comments are) If you click on the tab 'transitions' you can find that information Edit: i noticed your question is for cloud and that does not contain the transition tab. Nevertheles you can still find it in the tab 'History' Regards Dave
-
Hi @Paul Treadwell try this Regards Dave
-
Hi @Wojciech Cora , When youy transition the issue to in development you should fill in a date field with current date. And you could use a query like issuetype = epic and status = "In Progress" and "Waiting since" <= endOfDay(-28) Regards Dave
-
Hi @Ronny Prüfel check this topic where your question is answered. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Clearing-Logs-and-Temporary-files/qaq-p/866681 Regards Dave
-
Hi @Syave Srikanth You can't change this for as far as i know. You have 10 attempts and after that you will also need to solve a captcha when entering a password but you are never locked out. This is to prevent brute force attacks on your environment. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Maria Garcia Confluence will show you all pages that you are allowed to see. This means that you will also see the pages that are restricted, however other users that are not allowed to see the page won't see it in the Children Macro. If you really don't want see the pages yourserlf you will have to replace them to…

@Loretta Rehm As soon as it is re-indexed the field should be searchable. You could re-index 1 project from project settings if you can't re-index the entire environment right now, that also should do the trick for that project at least. Nevertheless, you will already know if that is the solution. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Loretta Rehm After you created the new field, did you re-index your environment? Regards Dave
-
Hi @Yogesh V Malvankar Welcome to the community, Hard to say what is going wrong without knowing the configuration that you have in place. This page should offer a good starting point to check your configuration.…

Hi @Stefan Franke Not for as far as know. but iit has been a while since i worked with JSM server or datacenter. In Cloud it is indeed possible. If you really need this functionality you could always opt to create a custum portal of your own and create the issues with the rest api. But I do not recommend it because you…

Hi @Sergey Bocharov Welcome to the community, Seems there where and still are some issues with Jira Check https://status.atlassian.com/ If all issues are resolved and it still does not work, you need to contact Atlassian support as the community can not solve this for you. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Gilad Shtern Restricting issues could be accomplished with issue security schemes and automation rules with the plugin Automation for Jira. Depending on what you want to hide for group B it could take multiple automation rules and even custom fields to provide you with users or groups that are allowed to see the issue.…

Hi @Niall McCaffrey Out of the box this is not possible. But if i'm not mistaken you can solve this with plugin. You should look in to the plugins from Comala. In the past they had a plugin called Comala Workflows, but it has been renamed to (i believe) Comala Document management. It is a very powerfull plugin where you…
-
Hi @Syave Srikanth If you can't find the mail settings, it is probably due to the fact that you don't have "Jira system administrators" permission. In System administration, Security, Global permissions you are able to define some permissions, if you have enough access to see it offcourse. You need to have this specific…

So, we finally have some licenses for both Software and JSM and it seems that if you do not have a license for JSM you are unable to access insight with only a software license.
-
Hi Jadranka, Out of the box it is not possible but you can achieve this with following plugin. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/292/jira-misc-workflow-extensions-jmwe?hosting=cloud&tab=overview Once installed you can use the "field required validator" Regards Dave
-
Hi John, On one hand i would think you are right. But on the other hand, in the past, when it was just a plugin, it worked for all users (JSM & software). If you are correct then it will be very expensive to use the functionality in some cases because all users that need to use it need a JSM license now, even if they are…

Hi @Ralf_Dondl Talk to your jira admin. He/she should be able to change the config in your workflow. Regards Dave
