My first computer was a Commodore Amiga, i had both a cassete player and a floppy drive to store my data. But somehow i don't remeber a lot of this computer anymore. After some time my nephew bought an intel 386 and he had a hard drive of 50 Megabytes, as i was a little bit jealous i bought a 386 too. But mine had a hard…

Hi @Jonathan Prince Nkansah Welcome to the community If ou are not receiving a password reset email ther is only one reason i can think of, and that is that you are probably using a wrong email address. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Dmitrii I think this is what you are looking for Regards Dave

Could you share a screenshot of the audit? Also, the user that is executing the rule, does he have permissions in that project?

Hi @Rémy PREVOT Does the value already exist as a Component? Regards Dave

@Kelly Arrey For server and datacenter it really is not supported. That is why i used '=' in my reply.
-
So your current server is a windows server I'm used to working with linux but i think you are correct. The attachments folder should be <JIRA_HOME>/data/attachments/
-
Not for as far as know. And besides that, text does not use a lot of data. f.e. a simple text file with 1 million lines will probably take between 30 and 100 MB or something so it is really negligable.
-
Hi @Basker Ganesan The 2GB storage is for the attachments that are uploaded in your issues. So it will mainly depend on the amount and size of the attachments Regards Dave
-
Hi @[deleted] Could be, never used a next gen project myself so i don't exactly know.
-
Hi @[deleted] Depending on what you are trying to capture it could be that the issue collectors can solve your problem. If this is not enough i would recommend to create a form with REST calls Regards Dave
-
Hi @Kelly Arrey First of all you should always get an error that says what you are doing wrong. Out of the top of my head i would think the query you are looking for is type = Feature AND (issueLinkType != "belongs to" OR issueLinkType = EMPTY) Regards Dave

Once nested groups is enabled go to groups in user management You should see an option "Edit Nested Group Members" somewhere on the page. Click that and in the new screen that opens you should be able to nest them.

Hi @Alan Wong So you are talking about the fields that you see in the portal and that is what is explained on the page that i linked in my previous post. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Darryl Lee This seems very familiar to me as we have done this recently for one of our customers. The only problem we had was that for each and every change that we wanted to do we had to ask for approval before we could do it. This approval caused it to take months of work before we finally where able to finish it.…
-
Hi @Alan Wong Besides adding the fields to the screens you also need to add it in the request type. This is explained here Regards Dave
-
Hi @James Song Are you sure you are using the same username and password, make sure that your CAPS is off. Please verify this first! If your pc is on a company network, can you also check that you can log in from your private network as it could be that only access from certain ip's is allowed. If it still does not work,…

You need to rewrite your query. Basically, create a query for everything exept for your exeption. A second query for your exception And then combine them (each query in brackets ( ) ) with an or statement between them. Regards Dave
-
Hi @keren yerushalmi When you write your query you can add ( ) around a part of the query, this will handle the part within the brackets as a priority. And offcourse you can use "AND" and "OR" statements to complete the rest of the query. Assignee = dave AND (reporter = keren OR issuetype = epic) is not the same as…
-
Hi @Rémy PREVOT You should use a smart value In my example it is done with the field "Affected services" Regards Dave
-
Hi @Domènec Cintes I could be wrong here, but could you try dd/MM/yy h:mm a Regards Dave
-
Hi @Rémy PREVOT Welcome to the community. Out of the box it is not possible. However this can be solved with automation for Jira You need to create a rule that triggers on the change of the custom field that you have and then copies the value to the component field. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Stanislav You are looking for the Nesting groups functionality Have a look at this Regards Dave
-
You also need to add other roles, groups and whatever you used in your permission scheme, otherwise the other users will not be able to see the issues anymore. This also means that the user you added to the security level needs to be provided access to the issues in a different way as with the current groups/roles you are…
-
Hi @Kingsley It is not possible and that is a good thing. If you have permissions/security set in Jira, you should not be able to show it in Confluence. If it was possible, the security settings in Jira are worth nothing. Regards Dave
-
Hi @constantin Bizimana It's a server environment (you used the tag cloud) and this is different. If you are not an admin, contact the admin of the environment. If you are the admin you can follow these instructions Regards Dave
-
Hi @Luca Poltera You can edit the template files on server level, but i'm not sure that you can implement this specific thing. I never did i myself and i always recommend customers not to edit those as this would mean that with every upgrade you need to modify all the templates again. Regards Dave
-
Hi @constantin Bizimana If you go to the login page you should see a link to reset your password Regards Dave
-
Hi @Vasso Kontaxi You need to create a issue security scheme and link it to your project Set a default permission and add everyone that you want to allow permission to an issue. This will probably mean that you will have to add that specific user in a different role. You can find more info on issue security here Make sure…
