You need to proper configure HTTPS for you Jira instance. Look at this documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/running-jira-applications-over-ssl-or-https-861253906.html If you want use it with some kind of proxy web server like Nginx then check…
-
So based on screenshot it looks like DNS problem. Try to use domain name which can be resolved by DNS.
-
Ok, then what about errors in application log in INSTALL-DIR/logs/atlassian-jira.log?
-
Hi, try to look into developer tools in your browser. Which type of error is showing? What about Jira base URL? Or misconfiguration of web proxy server?
-
Hi, do you have a dbconfig.xml file in your DATA directory?
-
Original post was about upgrade from Jira 7 to 8, so small JVM values can cause this (I experienced this problem on our test environment). I recommend Xms and Xmx same because sometimes Java need more memory than it's now and sometimes OS is not able to server this needs in time - then it will fail on memory errors.
-
Hi @Andrei Ghenoiu and @Jon Tice , try to set Xms value to at least 2048m, because Jira 8 needed more memory and sometimes there is not much time to scale it higher value and then it fail. My recommendation is to set both JVM values to same value - based on size of your instance. But usually is 4096m enough.
-
Steps for Core, Software and Service Desk are same ... all are Server versions. Upgrade from 8.2.3 should be without any problem, but just to be sure make this first on test environenment and take snapshots.
-
Hi, try to check if you have still enabled this feature. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/using-parallel-sprints-797737030.html

Hi, you are on Community site. For support you should go to support site, but in many cases like that try to first check out Status page here: https://status.atlassian.com/ As you can see there are some problems with Cloud.

Hi, thanks for nice article. I have already ACP-100, ACP-400, ACP-500 and ACP-600 and from badges I have ASB-112 and ASB-114. For this year I plan to get also ACP-200 to achieve a ACM ;-).

Hi, you need to update membership in underlying LDAP directory.
-
Hi, what about values in Resolution field? Is it empty or not? If yes, then you have wrong configuration in your workflow and you will need to add post function for adding Resolution value.
-
Hi, I don't think you can expect support of this version to BB 6.2.0. You can expect it only for some future version as 6.5.0 is only supporting 2.22.0+ as newest. https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/supported-platforms-776640981.html

Hi @Marzi Goodarzian , you are reacting on 4 years old thread. You should start new one and describe your problem in more details (screenshot, part of logs with errors, original and upgraded version,...). Then just link your thread here and I will try look at it.
-
Hi, I recommend these steps for you: * recover original version from backups and check if everything is ok (integrity checker, latest updates for plugins, reindex,...) * try to upgrade to the latest version (actually 8.3.1) by https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download * again check if everything is ok and let us…

Hi, if it's not a huge instance then it's usually better to have DB on same server. So just install PostgreSQL and restore data from dump. Then you can try to copy folders and change DB setting in dbconfig.xml in JIRA-HOME folder. But if you still want to use old DB and server then you must be sure about network settings…
-
Hi, so what is your java and Jira version? Which kind of java are you using - Oracle, OpenJDK or AdopOpenJDK? How did you install Jira - by installer or archive?
-
Hi @RBDev , Same as @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- - I don't think you have any other option than rollback database. There is not difference (only more work) if original DB server or you will create new one. So follow up what @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- wrote, because I don't think you have time to just wait if and when there will…

Click on Network tab and find any line with Status 401 and click on it. Then click on Response tab for that line. What is there? Because 401 error is about unauthenticated user - and based on my experience it's sometimes caused by incompatible (not updated) plugins. Also did you made any changes like https, url or -if used…
-
Hi, what about any incompatible plugins? Any errors in log or in browser developer tools (in Chrome CTRL+Shift+i - Network - column Status, something like 40x)?
-
Do you need just give it to customer for purpose of response from him? If yes, then you should have status in workflow like Waiting on customer. If not then you need to grant JSD license as said @Alexey Matveev
-
Hi, it's already reported by other Community Leaders to Atlassian. So they just need little bit of time to repair it.
-
I also using Chrome browser without that problem. From which version of Jira 7 did you made upgrade? Maybe that's point of problem. Also try to clear plugin cache like in that case - don't forgot on backup before that, just in case.
-
Hi, is this behaviour only for your user or also for someone else? We have 8.3.1 on our test env and without that problem. Are you using any attachements plugin?
-
I don't think license is causing this kind of problem. Try set both JVM values to 1536m. What you mean with "DBMS is not yet configured"? Are you using HSQL (file system DB - only for test purposes)? If yes then install normal DBMS like PostgreSQL and migrate data. It could help with speed a lot.
-
JVM values (jms and jmx) are in _start_webapp.sh (if you are using Linux) or inside _start_webapp.bat (if Windows) in install folder. Memory depends on your (virtual) server - you need to know this. What type of DBMs are you using - PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL,... Din it in Bitbucket in DOMAIN/admin/db. Find more…
-
Hi, can you share more details about your instance like JVM values, memory, DBMS...? Do you have any errors in application log?
-
Hi, it depends on if whole your team need access to Bitbucket. If yes then you will need upgrade licenses for both applications to 25 users tier.
