I just upgrade our test env from 8.0.0 to 8.0.2 and it's ok - there are User Directories.
-
So those two people from one customer can see another service desk projects where they are not added? It sounds weird. Are you sure they can see other projects? Or are you using one project for more customers based on requests types?
-
They just released 8.0.2 few moments ago :-)
-
We have 8.0.0 Look at this page - 8.0.1 has been removed at 28th February and you can not download it from public Jira app page. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/issues-resolved-in-8-0-1-966679555.html
-
Can you show screen with Customers and People? Because based on your screenshot it looks like it should be ok and only people added to this project can see this project on portal.
-
Hi, user directories option is visible and working in our test environment. Maybe you have only Jira Administrator and your instance is using also Jira System Administrator. Look at Global permission configuration in System part of administration if there are same groups or if you have Jira System Administrator.
-
Hi, for project visibility you need change settings in project settings (in both/all projects). Regarding organizations you need to set this per project in Customers section of project.

Stuff with interim versions is just my opinion (and best practise based on my experience) because of your historic version of Bitbucket. The minimal upgrade path what I should do is 4.0.1 -> 5.0 -> 6.0. Dump of DB depends on DBMS what are you using. Check documentation of your DBMS. Also check supported platforms for 6.0…
-
Hi, can you post your log stacktrace?
-
Hi, I can only recommend to you follow upgrade guide for Bitbucket here (https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-server-upgrade-guide-776640551.html). So from my opinion you should first make upgrade on old server. Because an old server is running old Bitbucket then better will be make upgrades step by…

You can follow this tutorial https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-how-to-migrate-from-hsql-database-to-an-external-database-295308246.html But if you are not familiar with those things then you should ask someone with more experience.
-
HSQL is only for testing purposes so if you don't have any DB file backups then there is nothing. So you can try recover it by VM backup only and ASAP install some DBMS and migrate it - it's job for few minutes so nothing hard and time consuming.
-
Hi, in security schemes you can only define who will see issues, not who will not see it.
-
Hi, are you using HSQL as DBMS? It looks like you have probably corrupted DB files. So I hope you are not using it in production (based on your JVM values), because HSQL is only for testing purposes. My recommendation is * Try restart application again * If it is important for you try recover DB files from backups (if you…

When you move any customers into same organizations, then they can't see any issue from customers in another organizations. Then customers can create requests just for them or share it within their organization. Look at linked documentation for other links (like this or this). So if you have same settings for several…

For this use case should best fit Organizations feature of Jira Service Desk. You can use it also for filter in queues. Let me know if it solve your situation.
-
Try follow your link. Then if it will not help try to click on install button on Applications page. But first create backup. It looks like something is really wrong with your instance and probably will be better take last backup and recover it in new instance. How to…

Here is complete description of indexing: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-indexing-faq-776654790.html Yes, when you finish work with plugins, custom fields, configuration, etc then you should make reindexing.
-
Probably yes, but when you disable "Service Desk Internal Base plugin" then it disable those.
-
Try to enable all Service desk pplugins which are disabled
-
I mean something like this with buttons on right side.
-
You are welcome! :-)
-
Please post list of your plugins (screenshot with full size, I mean showing if there are updates etc.) if 13 of them failed then this could be a reason.
-
Try restart of application and post list of plugins. Did you made upgrade before errors start appeared?
-
Can you try follow this? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Desk-questions/Re-Re-Service-Desk-customer-portal-displaying-raw-JSON/qaq-p/740197/comment-id/12089#M12089 And let me know if it help.
-
Only one or also someone another? Can you replicate that behaviour (and if yes post screenshot)?
-
Hi, you should enable all of them - those are pre-installed and especially one for Service Desk. After you enable it it should work as before. ATST plugin is also very useful.
-
Hi, what you exactly mean with "Confluence folders"? Install or data directory or both of them? If you have data directory, then it's not bad and you cal follow steps defined below (but backup your data first). I you have database and data folder, then you can download ZIP or TAR.GZ package of Confluence…

Hi, I just try it like it's mentioned here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Re-Search-pages-based-on-Mentions/qaq-p/116173/comment-id/19328#M19328 And it's working for me, if it is what you exactly want.
-
Perfect and you are welcome! :-)
