Hi @Mireille Gennaro How about a screenshot of your Header and Footer sections. Blank out anything you don't want us to see. Sometimes an image helps put things into context. Also bear in mind I am on Confluence Cloud, you appear to be on Confluence Server, there might be extra settings that I am unaware of. -Mike
-
Hi @Maskura Hilmi No, have you contacted Atlassian support and given them the code? -Mike
-
Hi @ummer Mushtaq Yes, confluence is perfect for collaboration, sharing, mentioning and version control is at it's heart. Every page has version control and a full audit trail of changes can be seen. Likewise one can easily roll back pages if mistakes are made. It is especially useful for big projects. In terms of costs,…

Hi @Michael Stuart Yes, it is /task in the new editor in Confluence. -Mike
-
Hi @Borjapombo When you create with a template, you are meant to name the page with a unique name, e.g. the name of the error or something description. If you do that and then Publish you should never get that error again. -Mike
-
Hi @Chelsea Waxenberg I am not aware of tagging, but labels must come close. I forgot to mention you could also have a labels list that one can pick to find a related page(s). -Mike
-
Hi @Chelsea Waxenberg There are a number of best practices: * The Live search macro is pretty good. * Filter search is very good giving one loads of options to search documentation. * You could create a menu system and add related content to a sub-menu. * You could create landing pages for key topics and include a Content…

Hi @Anand Vardhan How do want the export of data? * PDF, * HTML, * XML ? Confluence has a built in Export allowing you to pick the data you want and to export it in the 3 formats above. -Mike

Hi @[deleted] * How do you have an email portal? There shouldn't be a portal for email requests. * Do you want the German and Dutch portals to have their own Key or do they currently see the same request types on the screen? * Do you know who your Dutch and German customers are? You should be able to have separate portals,…

Hi @Noel Dubey If you can give a real life example of what you currently have and what you are trying to achieve, it might help better answer the question. -Mike
-
Hi @Alex Not that I am aware of. Why would you want to do that and would you want that to happen every time? -Mike
-
Hi @Jack Brickey Yes, it is not as easy as the logic suggests. I gave my logic a tryout, and A4J doesn't seem to support conditions across projects, although does support multiple projects. I really thought it would, or perhaps my LITE version doesn't. -Mike

Hi @[deleted] The macro works regardless of the page being watched or not. Take a new page, which wouldn't be watched it will still appear on that list. I was going to say, because I stuck it on my front page (left side of the page, middle I have our company blog and right side of the page is a page tree), I set the macro…

Hi @Tina Weisser Have you seen this page? https://www.roobrick.org/#/help (help page). There are a couple of videos on there. Also you could contact the support page and ask them for information also on that same page. -Mike

Hi @Maskura Hilmi I assume you are referring to your second image as the first image looks okay. Does it distort the screen when you close the sidebar menu (the grey menu on the left) Also where are Upcoming events and Ivan Release Schedule on the first image? What layout are you using? Could all be related to the sidebar…

Hi @[deleted] I know the feeling... And I have a solution. You could create a page (private page) or like I have done (stick in on the home page for all to see) a Recently Updated Macro. For visibility it is great, everyone gets to see what pages have been updated and for me as head of documentation I can quickly click…

Hi @luc.bouwens When will the child pages be created? You could use Page Properties Macro (hidden) on the parent page, which contains the serial number and on the child pages a Page Properties Report Macro containing the matching field (serial number) listed in the Parent Field. -Mike

Hi @Bert Muylaert Edit: I meant to say there is no option to export to PDF per page, it is only everything in one PDF. Have you tried exporting to HTML? It creates a big zip file, but you can extract to a folder and run index.html through your browser, which shows the structure you would normally see on the left side of…

Hi @Nanashi Nemo You want to visit Project Settings, Email requests. If you have set up a default email account then click the 3 dots (top righ top the page). Select configure email request types and select the request type you want. -Mike
-
Hi @Nicholas Torres It would be a terrible idea to hide the requests until the customer has searched for the answer. Bear in mind not every person who raises requests has the time to search through pages of documentation that might or might not be there. Also the phrases, keywords, sentences they use might be slightly…

That is a good idea @Esme Crutchley There are simply unlimited uses for Trello and the beauty is how detailed or simple one can make them. I've one plugin (calendar), which is always useful, but one could really go to town with all the features that are on offer. Work in progress boards are fine, the key is not forgetting…

Hi @Tim Gleeson I would leave the Reporter column (if that is what you mean) in the queue. Seeing the reporter is useful. For example our Queue headers look as follows: -Mike

Hi @Jack Brickey I think I understand or maybe I dont. I'll try and replicate it when I get a chance, but this is what I was thinking, although thinking and reality are completely different as you know. -Mike
-
@Jack Brickey Are you asking how you could bypass the process for subsequent requests after the agreement has been signed? What do you mean by Property ?

Info exists on the legacy Macros - View More, but maybe Atlassian think everything is easier via a shortcut key. The View more menu does seem a little old school. If they could share a shortcut menu that would be useful. Mike.
-
It use to be called Info and was on the menu above View More. In fact it is still there. (see image). On the legacy pages one can use the shortcut {info}. The new editor is better in that sense with the shortcut key '/'. On a side note you can also type the following to bring up the exact box quicker. * /error * /info *…

Hi @Tim Gleeson Quite simple actually. * Create the organisation (ABC) under Customer - Invite your users. * Create a new queue and call it ABC. Edit the JQL as follows: status in (Escalated, Implementing, "In Progress", Open, "Peer review / change manager approval", Pending, Planning, Reopened, "Under Review", "Under…

Hi @Chad Faragher Very simple. Watch this. -Mike

Hi @Rukmani Description field is not normally mandatory, only Summary is as it's the subject. Is that something you have set? I would suggest switching it back to Optional. -Mike

Hi @[deleted] I hear you. Here is the solution. You'll need Automation for Jira (Server Lite) - it is free, I suggest you download if you can to play around with the rules. There is a limitation on the number of rules that can be run per month, but as is everything in this world if you want it - you pay for it. Solution…
