Hi @Sabrina Liao Here is an alternative solution using the free plugin Automation LITE for Jira I was able to successfully re-create your request based on a condition found in a description of a ticket/request. For my test I used an incoming email to our Jira Service Desk. WHEN: Issue Created (Rule is run when issue is…

Hi menno.jansma@proactis.com That is very vague, could you if you don't mind include the steps you are taking and / or a screenshot of what you are doing. You can blur our sensitive customer info if you like! Seeing the error on the screen would also be useful. -Mike

Hi @Lior Tal Most things they got right, the code block they failed miserably. -Mike
-
Hi @Lior Tal That is because you are using the new confluence editor. Yes it sucks and completely defeats having Syntax highlighting. The old editor works perfectly: I would suggest trying some other syntax's because it does work, perhaps just not for csharp. -Mike

Hi @Jason North So it works incognito... that is interesting. What about: * Assuming you have updated Chrome to the latest version. I am running Version 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) (64-bit) and Confluence is working. * Try disabling all Chrome Extensions if you have them and then seeing if it works. * Try disabling all…

@Nick Denniston Screenshots attached. -Mike

Hi @Nick Denniston One last thing to check - In confluence when you click the eye, both checkboxes are not checked, but click on the Manage, is your name in there against the SPACE? If it is, remove it. Check Page as well. -Mike

Hi @Anders Malmberg I couldn't find it anywhere, but it is a very useful search, but here is a nice hack that will be with you forever. Create a shortcut on the Switch to... icon (icon with 9 squares). * At the bottom click on Manage List. * In the Application Navigator give it a Name, paste in the URL…

Hi @Jason North Have you checked this post: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/oops-you-ve-made-a-malformed-request-when-resetting-atlassian-account-password-900816987.html It mentions some troubleshooting tasks. Have you tried in Incognito on Chrome? -Mike

Hi @Ivan You can start here : https://docs.automationforjira.com/using-issue-fields/use-smart-values.html and there is a ton of information on their pages. Also when you create some rules, look to the bottom of most pages, there is normally a more options link. Some other useful guides: You can use a number of issue fields…

Okay @Community_Hub , Try it in reverse by doing the following: * Go to your Confluence space, and on the sidebar, click Space settings > Integrations. * Click the Application Links tab. * Click Add Link, System JIRA (JIRA). * Enter the space key or space name, then click Create. * Now go back to your Next-Gen project and…

What type of administrator are you * Jira Administrator or * Project administrator? You need to be set as an administrator at a Global level. See this Global Permissions post: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-global-permissions-776636359.html It mentions the following: Create and administer…
-
Hi @Community_Hub How are you getting to the step that produced the screenshot? If you could describe the steps that would be useful. Also is your project a classic or Next Gen project? Also worth confirming under Project Settings - Features (assuming a Next-gen project is in play), Do you have Pages turned on? (Create,…

Hi @Maikes It could also be an automation rule or perhaps an existing automation rule such as (Auto-approve standard changes) that has been updated to include a username. Check Project Settings - Automation and check all automation rules for that persons name. -Mike

HI @Heba Salem The page is telling you what you need to do. You need to have the Service Desk Agent permission... To get this permission Go to Jira Settings, Administration, Users and against your name add the group service-desk-agents. Also have a a look at Project Settings, People that administrators is selected. Should…

Hi @Nick Denniston A colleague of mine experienced the same problem recently and the three places to check are as follows: Go to any page on your Confluence and click the Watch eye. Ensure Watch all content in this space is turned off. Also click on Avatar (bottom left) under Settings - Email Settings, is the highlighted…

Hi @Ross Drummond You've not mentioned if you have some How-To articles already, but I'll assume nothing. Your project TFO How-To Articles must also be Service Desk project, although you won't use it as such. Before giving you an overview of getting articles onto your project as an Administrator you need to do the…

Hi @priscillareemz I think you need to start following or reading through a tutorial. Have a look at Set up your first Jira Service Desk project Once you have done that, look to the side of the page and follow through the various steps. -Mike

Hi Henry, You saying they don't appear in that list you showed me early, just 3 users appear and those are the ones that have accepted or signed up... so you are missing three invites. That is strange. That I can't explain, because on the cloud they appear alongside those that have accepted. One final thought, try removing…

Hi @Lawrence Demers So using the script for Assigned to me or Waiting on me, one simply added a status. assignee = currentUser() AND status = closed ORDER BY Key DESC assignee = currentUser() AND status = resolved ORDER BY Key DESC Therefore the user looking at this queue will see all their Closed or Resolved tickets. -Mike
-
Well its a personal preference. Some of my colleagues love the new look, I can't stand it. But yes it would make life a lot easier wouldn't it especially if they are logging tickets to have it turned on or off.

Hi @[deleted] Try sending an invite to a personal email address or a dummy email address. Does it appear with the email address only? If you want to send it to mrjackblackbeard@gmail.com - I won't sign up, but what does it show on that screen you have showed me? Based on my findings, those users listed look like they have…

Hi @Rony Len Okay, I know what you mean, and I would say what you want is not possible. However you could copy a blank JIRA macro into every row of your table and simple paste in the RBO-3580 or RBO-3581 into the filter space and press enter. When you see the Key and Summary click on Insert. The result will be what you are…

Hi @priscillareemz Yes, unless the client is signed up and logged in, they will not be able to see their specific issues and other details on one's Dashboard(i.e., private only to that client). Therefore follow steps 1 to 7 to get the client signed up and registered. Once client is signed up and start raising requests, the…

Hi @[deleted] I use the following method to determine a pending invite versus someone who has signed up. Try looking under Customer / Organisation where you sent the invites from. If an email address is still visible twice then that user has not signed up yet, however if there is a username then you know that user has…

Hi @priscillareemz Assuming you are an administrator in Jira Service Desk do the following: * Directly under Queues is Customers, click into it. (here is the path: https://**********.atlassian.net/projects/<your-project-code>/customers * Replace ******** with your Atlassian domain. It will take you into the Customers page.…

Hi @Ashley Davies Yes, click on your Avatar. Settings, On Personal Settings scroll to the bottom of the page and under Jira Labs switch off the New Jira issue view. -Mike

Hi @Rony Len Okay, I think I understand, but apologies if this answer is not it. I was able to replicate what you have done using the following steps. I am assuming you are a Jira Administrator as you will need to be in order to achieve these results. * Click Jira Settings, Issues, Custom Fields. * Top right click Add…

I agree with you on Developers communication, but you'll find when a customer knows they have direct access to a developer, it causes more requests. Your Developers time is worth a lot more than your Service Desk agents time. But, if you want them to communicate to customers, simply add them as a licenced user on Jira…

Thanks Jack, Of course the customer can still comment on a closed ticket. "I was on 3 months holiday, sick, in prison, lost up the creek without a paddle & and no I don't accept the resolution you have provided, please re-open the ticket". Yes, I get the possibility that the automation rule could close the ticket before…
