Hi, You might also take a look at Clockwork Automated Timesheets Pro or its Free version delivered by my team. It gives an option to generate a report of the work time grouped by a user. Cheers, Jack

Hi @Harshang Trivedi, When it comes to permissions/restrictions: * template authors can modify their own templates * project admin can modify all templates You can check the following documentation page for more details: https://gebsun-support.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1181745213/Permissions+for+templates There…

It might be way more comfortable to use one of the existing Checklist apps from the Marketplace, e.g., Issue Checklist Free delivered by my team. Issue Checklist Free gives an option to: * quickly create sets of checkboxes directly from the issue page (so every issue can hold different checklist) * define checklist…

Hi @Francisc, Given the way you work, I think that Clockwork app available on Marketplace might be helpful (disclaimer: my colleague works on it). It gives you two modes: * Manual - you simply press Start timer button on the issue/bug/task page when you start working on it. When you finish, press Stop timer button and the…

Hi @Tzvetan Horozov, The key question is, how would you like to use the "work type"? Generate reports, group by work type in a timesheet, anything else? Jira does not support the work type so even if plugin reports it somewhere, built-in Jira reports won't show it. The plugin would need not only to save work type but also…

Yes. If the YAML syntax is incorrect, then a checklist is not created. If YAML is valid, then the checklist should appear automatically on the issue. To get a valid YAML, please create a checklist on any issue and then use the "Copy checklist as YAML" option. It will copy the valid YAML to the clipboard. The format you…

* So, the first problem to solve is creating recurring Jira issues. You can do it manually (using "clone" functionality), but it can be automated too. There are a few plugins available for Jira Cloud that can help:* Recurring Tasks (paid) * The Scheduler (paid) * Automation for Jira (paid and free) * Once the recurring…

Hi @Michael Arndt, How do you create recurring issues? Manually from scratch, copying existing issues, or maybe you use some automation app? Let me know, and I will advise the best way to integrate Checklist Pro with your setup. Thanks, Jack

Perfect. I'm glad it helped. The difference between various ways of rejecting transition comes from Atlassian, and we do not control it, unfortunately. The checklist can only tell Jira "do not allow this transition" with an appropriate message, but it is up to Jira how it presents the information to the user. I have…
-
So, what you want is "select/load template on the Create Issue screen". Am I right?
-
Hello @Michael Arndt, Your setup looks good at first sight. Please double check that: * the workflow is "published" and not only saved as "draft" * the issues you test with "close transition" are in a project that uses the workflow presented on the screenshots * custom fields integration is enabled in Checklist Pro global…

Hi Michael, Loading the predefined template for newly created issues is pretty simple. Please follow our guide and let me know if that helps: https://gebsun-support.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/922353675/Applying+a+template+automatically Thanks, Jack

Ah, now I see. You want to see checklist on the "Create issue" screen, am I right? Do you need a way to type a checklist there or maybe just load predefined checklist template?
-
The screenshot attached above comes from New Issue View. Are you asking about some other kind of view that lacks the checklist button?
-
Hello @rohit.maheshwari , The YAML in the checklist custom field suggests that you are using Issue Checklist Pro or Issue Checklist Free. I can confirm the solution you found, i.e. the custom field value must be enclosed with double-quotes. More examples and explanation can be found in the…

I'm glad it helped. You might want to "accept" the answer to help others find it more quickly. Thanks, Jack
-
Hi @Michael Arndt, It is possible. Please try to press the checklist button as presented on the screenshot below: The checklist button might also be hidden under the "..." button. Once pressed, the empty checklist should appear on the issue page. Let me know if that helps. Cheers, Jack
-
You need to add a filed to the View Issue screen then: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/defining-a-screen-776636475.html
-
Hello andrew_jollie@slc.co.uk, Please specify what is "acceptance criteria". Jira does not have such functionality/field by default so it must be a custom field or a plugin that your Jira admin added/configured. Once we know what is "acceptance criteria" in your Jira, then we will be able to advise the best solution. Also,…

So, replacing 2/17 with percentage is the only thing you would need? Currently, the numbers are based on finished issues vs. all issues. Would it be better for you to use "time logged" vs. "time estimated"? Thanks, Jack
-
Sure. Please follow the link: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220137/epics-map-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview Let me know if the plugin gives you what you need or if you need something more. Thanks, Jack
-
Hello @Luisa Fernanda Gaviria If you split the project by epics, then you can take a look at "Epics Map for Jira" created by my team. It shows the progress/completeness of the project by epics. Cheers, Jack

Clockwork can track time with start/stop buttons or automatically depending on issue status.
-
You can also try third-party apps from Atlassian Marketplace. There are plenty of them in "time tracking" category. I can propose a "Clockwork" app. It helps to automate time tracking but also gives flexible reports with "export to excel" function. It allows to see time logged for each issue and export it. Cheers, Jack
-
Hello @Alex Liegel, The answer depends on the checklist app you use. If that is an Issue Checklist Pro or Issue Checklist Free, then you can find the answer in their advanced search documentation. There is a paragraph (third bullet point) explaining how to "Search for all issues containing checklist item with given user…
-
Isn't it the opposite? Right side for New Issue view and left side for Old Issue view?
-
You might also consider third-party apps for time-tracking available in Marketplace "Clockwork" for example works in Next-Gen projects and stores time tracking data on Jira side. It means that you will be able to switch to Jira built-in time tracking solution along with all the data when it is eventually available in…

Hello @Michael Arndt Please take a look into the documentation for inspiration on how to integrate the Issue Checklist Pro with Automation for Jira: https://gebsun-support.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/818937870/Automation+for+Jira Overall, the steps are: * create an Automation rule that suits your needs (e.g., the…

It looks like the request must be posted as a comment under the following post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Atlassian-Community-guidelines-for-Marketplace-vendors-and/ba-p/689723/page/6

How can I get the role of "Marketplace vendor"? The provided link does not explain it. Thanks, Jack
