Hi @Brett Parkhurst, The error message covers up the sidebar text so we don't know which checklist plugin you use. However, this type of error is most likely caused by a known Atlassian bug. Please try to access the page in a different browser. That often solves the issue. If the problem persists, please comment on the…

Hi, I can confirm that, while Issue Checklist allows loading multiple templates at the same time from the Load Template dialog, the templates are loaded into a single checklist and separated with the header. The Default Checklist feature allows for only one template for a selected issue type. We plan to integrate multiple…

Hi Ben, In that case, please contact your Jira or project administrator. They most likely enabled advanced permissions in Issue Checklist Pro, and you are missing the View Checklist permission. Let us know if that helps. Cheers, Jack

Hello @Dennis_H Some of the checklist apps, e.g., Issue Checklist Free and Pro, allow converting items to top-level issues. However, since Jira does not allow to re-use its create-subtask dialog, it is difficult to build the "convert to sub-task" feature, and, AFAIK, no checklist app gives that possibility. Please add your…

Hi @Ben Hoffman, If you are using the checklist plugin that allows controlling permissions (e.g., Issue Checklist Pro), then you might not have permission to see the checklist in a given issue/project. Let us know which checklist plugin you use, and their vendor will help you solve the case. Cheers, Jack

Hi @Martin Kulp, Jira does not support checklists natively. However, the "default Checklist" feature provided by Issue Checklist Free app was designed for your exact case. It applies the selected checklist to all newly created issues of the selected type (e.g. Onboarding). The app is simple to start and use (just install…

@Hanieh Katebian, No paid app will offer you progress in Next-Gen board cards. It is technically not possible in Jira at the moment AFAIK. As per the limit, it is for the Free version only. We introduced it after discovering companies with tens of thousands of checklist items using the Free version. There are no limits in…
-
Hello @Hanieh Katebian, I'm Jack from the Issue Checklist Free team. Unfortunately, Next-Gen boards do not allow apps to show any additional information on the ticket cards. That is, however, partially possible on the Classic boards, as explained in Issue Checklist documentation. Let us know in case of any additional…

I recently noticed that I could not apply comment visibility after the comment was posted. I had to switch to the old view.

In this case, you use the Issue Checklist app as far as I can see. Here are more examples: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/774307870/Search+basic+including+JQL

BTW. Please vote the following ticket to let Atlassian know that you don't like duplicates: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/ACJIRA-2223 Thanks, Jack

Hi @Alexey, I can see that you use Issue Checklist app, and it is available from both the toolbar and the right/context side. You can disable the right/context presence with this option: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1445953544/Show+checklist+in+Jira+mobile+app Jira uses the right/context panel to…

Hi @Hürkan Utan, Do I see correctly on the screenshot that you use either Issue Checklist Pro or Issue Checklist Free? If so, then you should be able to read issue entity properties using Automation smart values feature, e.g. `{{issue.properties.checklist.progressText}}`. Next, you can send a slack message as explained in…
-
Hello @Hürkan Utan, Could you post a screenshot of what do you mean by "Status of a Checklist"? Cheers, Jack

@Payal _appbox_ai_, This question is related to a server version of the Checklist for Jira app. It is not professional to blindly advertise your plugin in that case, especially when it does not solve the problem reported by the question author. It cannot even be installed in the Server environment as far as I can see.…

Hi @liz, As already mentioned, one of the possible ways to track defects and test cases is using a third-party checklist app for Jira. Please take a look at the Issue Checklist Free, delivered by our company, which is the most popular checklist app in the Marketplace. It works well with both Classic and Next-Gen projects.…

@Matthew Canham, Here is the New Issue View feedback from our Issue Checklist app's user: I always need to click on "open checklist" to see my list, this is just ****ing ridicioulus. Cant you push Jira to stop making such bad design decisions? We need to see all checkpoints without always clicking this damn button. And on…
-
@Robin Wang, There was a bug in the recent release of Issue Checklist Free, but it has been fixed on the same day. Everything should work fine as of today. If it doesn't, please make sure your Jira has picked the latest version of the checklist plugin:…
-
Hi @Rik Viergever , The request from @Michael Arndt was to load a predefined checklist template on the create issue screen. We have it on our backlog and plan to implement it soon. Is this what you need too? If you want to create/type your own checklist on the create issue screen, then the only option is to use the custom…
-
Hi @Esther Breslauer, Both Issue Checklist Pro and Issue Checklist Free allow you to specify the DoD checklist for each issue type separately. Please take a look at our docs for more details: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/776896599/Setting+a+template+as+default+checklist Cheers, Jack

New Issue View does not show custom field ID anywhere. We need it sometimes from our customers (non-admin users) for support purposes. It was pretty easy to find the field ID in old issue view: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/892928051/Find+custom+field+ID

@Leni Neto > This is the same as selling the "best smartphone" except it doesn't make calls That is a completely skewed comparison. Jira does ticket/backlog/project management and does it well. Checkboxes are nice and highly useful but hiding time tracking is too. Both things are not possible in Jira natively.
-
The most popular is obviously Issue Checklist Free
-
The same can be achieved with free plugins like Clockwork (built by my company) and probably a few others. So, you don't have to pay for that functionality.
-
Hi, Since Atlassian announced the end of life for the Server offering, we won't work on the Server version. However, it is still to be decided about the Data Center. Cheers, Jack
-
Perfect! We are glad it helped! Cheers, Jack
-
Hmm. It looks like someone with more privileges (the Jira site admin?) must approve/install the plugin for some reason. Can you try to install another free plugin? E.g. Clockwork Automated Timesheets Free? I wonder if the problem affects all plugins or Issue Checklist Free only. Let us know. Thanks, Jack
-
It means that the app was not installed. Please navigate to the sibling "Find new apps" link, search for "Issue Checklist" and try to install it. Let us if that helps. Cheers, Jack
-
Hi Liza, Please check in your Jira settings if the Issue Checklist app has been installed correctly: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/808779777/Checklist+app+version Let us know what you can see there. Cheers, Jack

Hi @[deleted], I'm Jack from the Issue Checklist Free team. Could you let us know why you can't use it? Did you face any issues? We will be happy to help. You can also reach our support directly at support@herocoders.com Cheers, Jack
