You could add a custom field called "Completed At" and then create an automation that when a due date is completed that new Completed At field is set to the current time!
-
Hahah yep you're right - i've definitely seen this, and there needs to be a better way to solve it, or at least a clearer path to prevent being in that situation haha. And @Janice i 10000% agree... at the moment the best i can do is explain how to use tags and import/export 😂 it's so cumbersome.

This makes a lot of sense!! I have definitely seen this, so I know what you mean. Very great point. That workbook could be like super basic PDF of the core components and how they fit together, and basic functionality.
-
@G subramanyam and thank you SO MUCH! I appreciate the review and I'm so glad you enjoyed the book!! Glad you're supercharged haha.
-
Thank you @Hana Kučerová !!

Hi!! I actually just wrote a book about Trello, and I used Trello to manage the process! Four Power-Ups that are going to make your life amazingly easy here... 1. Use Import CSV to Trello Power-Up to import your google sheet to trello. it's free for your first 10 imports, and even after that it's only $10/mo, so you should…

@Mikael Sandberg that's awesome!! that would mean THE WORLD to me!! I appreciate it! (We will party together some other time!)
-
@Rafael sorry - what does the movement of the activity button have to do with dashcards and performance on trello?
-
Fantastic roundup!! And thanks for the shoutout!
-
@mcowgur ah okay that's keyword searching. it sees the name of the checkbox field on the cards where it's checked, so it's reading that text. And i guess it's not seeing that field when it's not checked, probably something in the backend where the field "actually exists" when it's checked, but doesn't exist before it's…

@Spencer Gordon thats strange!! maybe reach out to support and ask them? seems like there might be a bug somewhere. of course, yeah at this point you might be right copying it might just be the better route
-
@Spencer Gordon are you an admin on the board? You'll probably need to be an admin of the board and part of both workspaces.
-
@mcowgur admittedly i didnt know you could filter by a checked custom field, i thought trello filters only worked with members, due dates, activity ,labels, and keywords?
-
And thanks @Rachel McDonald !!! I can't wait to hear what you think about it!
-
Thank you so much @Robert Wen_Cprime_ !! I'll bring my signing pen to Team 24!!
-
@mcowgur you can create a custom field or label that when checked (or added) it will move the card to a Completed board! You'll want to use the "Rules" section of Automation, and look for a trigger for custom fields that is checked (or when a label is added if you prefer that), move the card to another list on another…

Clever!
-
@Laurent Lacoste where are you trying to parse them?
-
This is awesome @Alex W !! I'd never thought about using them to keep track of cards for performance. That's amazing! I've used Dashcards for keeping track of cards with specific criteria, like how many are assigned to me this week or how many i completed last week!
-
@Gary McDonald you might need to reach out to trello support about this one: https://trello.com/contact
-
@Spencer Gordon welcome welcome!! 🎉 to move a board to another workspace, click the three dots in the top right corner of a board, then click on ... More, then Settings, and then you'll be able to select a new workspace from the dropdown! Like this!
-
This is not factual @Clark Everson please hold off on sharing ChatGPT answers that you can't confirm, as it might lead to more confusion and doesn't really help the user. If you want to raise a question in the community leaders slack, check out the the #trello-leaders channel! There are a handful of folks in there that…
-
@Christine Scivicque check the "Scheduled" section of the Automation section in Trello. There are triggers for every day, week, or selecting multiple days (the second trigger option)
-
Big hearts and hugs to you all!! Seriously couldn't have done it without you!!
-
This is a good idea too - as then those checklist items would show up in the calendar! I like this better than my solution 😂
-
@Abraham Feliciano hey there! Couple questions. Are you trying to sort or filter? If you're trying to filter, have you checked these options in the filter? And if so, do the cards in question that seem to be missing have the due date set? (Not a custom field, not the start date, and not the checklist item date.) If you're…
-
@Stewart Bronaugh hey there, you'll need to reach out to support to help with this one. https://trello.com/contact#/
-
@Marilu Najera You might also want to check out the Bulk Actions Power-Up. It's meant specifically for doing things like this! There is a free plan, but it has a limited amount of bulk actions you can do, though it might be enough depending on how many cards you have! It's also very affordable (i think as little as $1…
-
Btw, the answer is "yes" either way, @Mike - Dreamsuite Consulting is enquiring just to give you the specific rule and trigger you'd want to use!

Checklist items should appear in the Calendar Views, at least on a board, i can't remember if they do in the Workspace Calendar views, but they should in the Board Calendar Views. As far as Custom Fields, those don't appear in the board calendar views, i think because in a situation like with your card, it will be…
