I am highly addicted to shortcuts "/" for macros and "e" for edit in Confluence "C" in Jira. I mostly use shortcuts to look blazing fast to my co-workers. :-) One thing that is annoying is that there is difference in MS Office depending if it is in Swedish or English. Ctrl+F is either Bold OR Find depending on the locale.…

You wrote: when a linked task goes "in progress... and that makes me wonder. There is a difference between links between work items (they are only relations) and Epic-> Task where you have a hierarchy where the Epic is the parent and the Task is the child of. The example is based on the assumption that you have a hierarchy…

Hi @Sina Mathieu If you build the rule as described below the Rule will be triggerd by the transition of a Work item. IF the work item has a Parent Epic that is in status Open AND the child work item is moved to blue status (status category = "In progress") THEN the Epic status will be moved to "In progress" Make sure that…

Could you provide some more information about what field and what type of data you want to add/update? It might be possible to do a csv export and import to add or set values if you reference the issue key in the file together with the data you want to add/update Depending on your testing needs it might be wise to check…

Good to make this clear. I think the Atlassian community is one of the most friendly and helpful places.

Where are you expecting to see the Epics? If you are using the new layout and want to se Epics in the backlog, you need to click on the Viiew settings in the upper right corner and activate "Epic panel" or just click "E" on the key board. If you want to see Epics in your active sprint you need to go to Board settings ->…

Hi, Yes I am sure it works, i have just tested it my sandbox environment. If you don't want to embed the HTML you could just refrence the issuekey and issue descption as a smart value instead. In this case it would actually make more sense since the customer don't have access to Jira so the hyperlink does not really help.…

Hi and welcome to the community! This is absolutely possible using automations. I understand that the users email is stored in a custom field in the ticket? If then you can do as follows: 1. Find the id for the custom field by navigating to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields. Click on the "More" menu (three dots) next to…

Love this! It will absolutely help our users to consolidate information to Confluence. What happens if you try to import more than 3 Miro boards when you are on the Standard plan? Do you get to choose which boards to import? Best regards, /Staffan

Ah ok, that looks like the icon for "Jira Legacy"-macro but in any case you should be able to see clickable links for your parents If you open the macro and click on "Display options", do you have "Parent" as one of the options to display? Gives the following view when published
-
Which macro are you using? In the "Jira work Item" macro you can create a filter and add "Parent" as a column and it will provide a clickable link to the parent issue.

Hi @Dave Parrish [Atlassian] I am evaluating Compass for a customer and we got stuck on the needed privileges in GithHub for setting up the integration. Is there any way to limit the privileges? As I understand it this gives Compass the highest level of access in GitHub. As for now security sees a risk that the integration…

@Barbara Shaw This might be obsolete knowledge but I always set the Epic status "In progress" and "Done" as a post Function in the workflow for the Epic.

Kind of an old thread but i just found a solution for cloud that helped me. So if you are still struggling with this you might want to try this plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226755/calendar-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview I have just helped a customer to create a deployment calendar using this…
