HI Andy, Can you verify that the user *{{atlbitbucket}}* is the owner and has permissions to the Bitbucket Home and Installation paths? In some cases, we’ve seen where the user has permissions to the directories but was not the owner causing a failure in accessing the files on Windows. Regards, Mark

This problem is caused by our handling of quarantine pushes introduced by Git 2.11.0. We've created this ticket with a description of the issue so that everyone can track its progress: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-10437

No problem, Geoff. That I do not know. I can only speculate the different roadmaps that each product has due them being separate impacts the features one may receive over the other or a particular implementation of a feature. No idea when it will land, but please be sure to add your watch on the feature request to stay…

Hey Geoff, Thanks for reaching out. It appears that we have mistakenly copied the Bitbucket Cloud documentation when introducing webhooks for Bitbucket Server. "Updated" is not a supported event for webhooks. We do have a feature request to provide this functionality that you can view here: BSERV-10279 - Pull request…

Hey Abe, Yes, the two should match so that the data.version downloads the appropriate dependencies for that FeCru version. What error are you receiving specifically when attempting to download? Outside of permanently changing the version of the application as you see in your pom.xml you can run a specific version by using…

Will do!

^^ That's a really good idea. I may have to try this.

I just finished "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" and have started the following: Audiobook * World War Z by Max Brooks (I've heard it's best to listen vs reading) Ebook * Merchants of Culture: The Publishing Business in the Twenty-First Century * On the Wire: The Storytelling Secrets of the New Masters of Radio

Hello, My name is Mark and I am on the Bitbucket Server team. I attempted to reproduce your issue with the latest versions of the software you tested but was unable to do so. I performed a simple push with your commit format and was able to get it through to JIRA and have the workflow transitioned and the comment added. I…

Hi Hyung, Here are some steps you can use to try to get back into Bitbucket Server and revert your change. Bitbucket Server 4.x * Stop Bitbucket Server * Open the setenv.sh in <BITBUCKET_INSTALLATION/bin> * Add -Dcrowd.polling.startdelay=2700000 to the sentenv.sh file in the JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS section. This will…

Hey Greg, The atlbitbucket user should be a standard user but have ownership of its application directories and data directories so that it can write and read the files that it needs. Upgrades should not break this portion. We only touch the service if it matches our default service name. If we do not find the service,…

Hey Mike, I'm sorry that I originally missed your question. When using the Squash merge strategy, what it does is rewrite history by combining the commits into a new non-merge commit, therefore, the merges=only query will not retrieve this commit since it is not a merge. As I noted below, you may be able to use our REST…

Awesome to hear. I'm glad that is working for you. Cheers, Mark

Hey Jakob, I think that I know what may be the issue as I’ve reproduced on my end. I was able to get my instance to be stripped of its CSS and all links exclude the context path defined. This was done with FishEye being loaded with no context path in its configuration, therefore, it does not have any knowledge that a…

Thanks, Jakob. Your configuration looks good and should work. I was able to confirm this by setting up my environment the same. As noted, I expect that maybe a firewall or other network configuration is blocking certain requests. Were you able to review your HAR network data to see what requests were being rejected? When…

That is great to hear! I'm glad it's working for you now. If Christian's suggestion worked for you, feel free to select his reply as the solution by clicking the checkmark above. Have a great day! -Mark

Hey Jakob, Can you share what your proxy configuration looks like? Can you open the development panel in your web browser, view the network tab, and see if you are receiving any failures in the requests loading? You can follow the instructions on generating a HAR to access the development panel for your browser, but do NOT…

Hey, If you are an administrator, you can modify and or check the file permissions to ensure that the user running Bitbucket has the necessary permissions such as Read & Execute. Go to the file and right-click. Select Properties and then select the Security tab. Selecting each user should display the permissions that user…

Hey Saif, I tried to reproduce your issue and I could not do so. Additionally, your diff navigation looks slightly different than my 5.2 instance. To start you have open and closed bullet points to the left of your files and folders and dashes after the expanded folders. Do you have any plugins installed that interacts…

Hey Erik, I attempted to reproduce your issue with the latest version of Bitbucket and your starter license, but I have been unable to do so. I too tested this on a freshly installed Ubuntu 14.04 instance. When I paste the license key in the license key field and select next, I am taken to the next step in the wizard. I…

Hey Rajan, You may be able to use PATH to help filter the commits by. You would not be able to use AT as that is not allowed. Only the following from the API is allowed for this endpoint: /REST/API/1.0/PROJECTS/{PROJECTKEY}/REPOS/{REPOSITORYSLUG}/COMMITS?FOLLOWRENAMES&IGNOREMISSING&MERGES&PATH&SINCE&UNTIL&WITHCOUNTS I…

Hi Greg, There could be many reasons for encountering the issue you are experiencing. Do note that upgrading from 4.14 to 5.3 does not require an upgrade path. BITBUCKET_HOME Environment Variable * This has either changed or no longer points to the proper location of your Bitbucket Server data. * This environment variable…

Hey Fakhri, It appears that this functionality is available in SCM Manager. See support request for the developer to add it: How to change issue status using SCM JIRA. The developer Sebastian links to their SCM JIRA plugin page and notes the auto-close section. Have you been able to review the above-linked page? If so, are…

Hey Saroj, It appears that 'content' only performs full phrase searching and not partials. Therefore, looking for 'fish' will only retrieve 'fish'. I verified this by performing some search tests and using EyeQL to modify the search operators. I did find an enhancement request to provide wildcard or regular expression to…

No problem. My thought is that we may need to open a support request to further investigate when and how this error occurs. This way, we can have a dedicated support engineer assist in troubleshooting the cause of the 401 error. -Mark

Hey Shreedhar, Unfortunately, there isn't if your goal is to take advantage of Zero Downtime backups. -Mark
-
Hey Shreedhar, The Zero Downtime backup, that you linked to, is part of the DIY Backup Scripts in which you need Cygwin to execute the shell scripts. You'll also want to make sure that you mind the prerequisites for zero downtime backups. -Mark

It seems that you are getting the error as described in our KB 401 Unauthorized received while attempting to store build status against stash. What version of Bamboo and Stash are you using? -Mark

Hi Beth, What do you mean by "Designated User?" After installing FishEye, you set the local administrator password but there is no user ID associated with it. If installing FishEye on Windows, the service runs under a local system account. Again, no dedicated user tied to the service. Cheers, -Mark
