Hey, @Gustavo Chaves , Thanks for commenting. We do note, regarding the license, what steps to take when setting up a stage environment. With each production license, you have access to a developer license. Once your stage environment is setup, you’ll need to apply the developer license. You can access the license on your…

I thought I responded but I didn't. World War Z audiobook was fantastic but it is abridged so I double dipped and read the actual book which is also fantastic.

Hey Susan, There are a few basic things to check when installing Elasticsearch to ensure that you've defined the credentials appropriately. See Install and Configure remote elasticsearch. I believe your actual issue is that you are using Elasticsearch 5.5.3 with Bitbucket 5.6.3. For 5.6 of Bitbucket, we ONLY support…

No problem, Ramana!

Hi Ramana, OpenSSL library is typically what is used on linux installations though there isn't necessarily a recommendation on which to use. When it comes to using SSL certificates, you will need to ensure that the system and server are trusting each-other or rather that git is trusting connections from your Bitbucket URL…

Yes. If the Jira issue keys are part of the commit message then it should be linked automatically once you complete the application link of the two applications.

Hi Christophe, This sounds as if your branching strategy is not allowing you to have the flexibility you want. From my past experience, the only dev features that should be present are those approved to be in 1.1. In my days in SCM, while we did have Master, that was untouched and only Production branch could be merged to…

No worries. Glad to hear it is working for you. Cheers, Mark

Hey Christian, Personal Access Tokens were not introduced until v5.5 of Bitbucket Server. To get this feature you will need to upgrade your instance to at least 5.5 of Bitbucket. Otherwise, your current authentication methods are noted in the REST API resources page where we also link to some OAuth script examples.

Hey Günther, Keying in on the following error snippet: ERROR: catalog is missing 2 attribute(s) for relid 163467 it appears that there is some sort of database corruption with your catalog. Your first step is to review their resource before taking any actions and follow their instructions:…

Hey George, At the moment, Bitbucket does not support git v2.19. The highest version we support is git v2.18, so it's good that you were able to downgrade your version of git and restore functionality. You can view a list of what we support per product version at Bitbucket Server supported platforms. I also see that you…

At what step did you receive this error? Did you complete Step 2A for importing through the web interface? As noted, you will first need to create an app password in Bitbucket Cloud. When you are creating the app password, you are also defining permissions for that password. At minimum you will need read access for team,…

Hi Brandon. It appears that you have also opened a support case and an engineer is currently working with you regarding your issue. We will share the answer once that ticket has been resolved.

That's awesome to hear! Glad to be of help. Cheers!

It appears you are hitting an XSRF security issue in which it is failing to acquire a token from the server. You can opt-out of this by providing the following in your curl call: X-Atlassian-Token: no-check

Hi Yagnesh, Unfortunately, from Bitbucket Server's perspective, there are no other levels outside of Projects & Repositories which give you 2 out of 3 of your hierarchy levels. There is a feature request to allow project categorization. This will give you the first level in your output. See Allow projects to be categorized…

Hello, It looks like you asked a similar question a few days ago. Since Bitbucket Server 4.9 we allow you to import repositories from the interface. You can read more about importing into Bitbucket Server. See Importing code from existing project

Hey Shay, Is this issue still active for you? Can you detail the actual issue or error you are receiving from git-upload-pack that prompted your investigation? Do you know what activity transpired to cause the corruption? Was there an unexpected power outage or disk failure? It is very interesting that objects are being…

Jake - the ticket was created using the Atlassian account you are currently logged in as. I've sent multiple communications to that inbox. Are you not monitoring this account?

Hey Oscar, I am not sure why the Jira user would need access to those folders unless you've modified your installation to be run under user "jira" otherwise, the default user is "atlbitbucket" if you chose to install Bitbucket as a service. Have you checked your security policies on your server to see if they are…

I did not find such a feature, but if this is functionality that you would like Atlassian to investigate, a feature request can be submitted at our public issue tracker that includes how this impacts you not having this feature, and what you hope the feature will do.

For Cloud, you may need to use a Webhook that will receive and execute whatever scripted processes you have. See Manage Webhooks In practice, based on your configuration, an event will fire to the URL that will receive said message. Once received, then you can perform whatever actions are needed. On the server side, this…

Hi Jared, The link you provided is for the Server product. You will want the following for Cloud features: * https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/pull-requests-and-code-review-223220593.html * https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/suggest-or-require-checks-before-a-merge-856691474.html Cloud doesn't appear to…

Hey Jake, I don't think your database is at play here as your repository index data is stored on the file system. Things stored in your database would be your review data and permissions for example. Even so, we do highly recommend that you use an external database for production environments. You can check out our page…
