Can you gone into the system panel, under mail and run the tests to confirm Jira has full access? Have you opened the mailbox to confirm customer emails are hitting the mailbox directly before Jira attempts to pick it up? I would also have your email admin check mail flow to confirm mails are hitting the mailbox so Jira…

Any other symptoms in Jira? Sluggish performance? Have you gone into system to review things such as Java Virtual Memory? Can you tell us a bit more about the environment? Platform, Jira Version, etc?

Hi, I tested this in confluence server 6.2.3 and was not able to reproduce. What version are you on?
-
Appears to still be an open request for this feature: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-43563 Other than that, I've only seen site wide modifications documented via: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-hide-elements-in-confluence-using-css-or-javascript-313458894.html Perhaps you can use a combination…

Hello, there is a market place addon to get service desk reporting: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/tr.com.obss.jira.plugin.service-desk-reporter/server/overview
-
Ok, you need to put two pieces of code together. First some CSS. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type" />…

Hi are you following the instruction guide posted: here.?
-
If you're using the new new Jira experience experience, the process to get to site administration is a little different. Rather than clicking the settings cog wheel, click Settings in the Jira sidebar.
-
There's a little blurb on how it's supposed to work here. Basically, minor versions, atlassian assumes the app will work and marks it compatible. more major releases it's up to the vendor to mark compatibility.

Hi, did you review the upgrade notes for 7.3 and 7.4. Take a look at the 7.3 notes. There's some changes there to mysql and ssl changes. You may also try stepping up. Upgrading to 7.3 and 7.4 to see where you fail. Also, can you indicate what upgrade process you're following, database and os you're running? That may help…

try a JQL Issue search something like: status changed by "Username" and updated> startOfDay("-1") In this case startOfday would be today and this is looking at the users updates from yesterday (the -1). If you're not sure of the person's username, find it in their profile or if you have admin access, look at their user…

It looks to be a feature in backlog for Core with no plans for work. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-45690 Basics of it is, Jira Core is the basic workflow. Jira software adds Agile functionality, jira service desk adds service desk.
-
If we're talking Jira Suite. The software is available in the market place link posted before. Pricing depends on how many user licenses your jira instance is licensed for.
-
Unfortunately, if you have a 10 user license, community is the option. There are partners and contractors out there. If you have everything backed up, you may be able to conduct a rollback.
-
Of course, there's a add-on for this. check out: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/nl.avisi.confluence.plugins.numberedheadings/cloud/overview

Possibly 2 solutions. One is via query: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-find-the-number-of-pages-blogposts-and-attachments-in-a-space-720636388.html The other, via search, but only gets number of pages:…

Can you check the KB article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/confluence-generates-confluence-is-vacant-error-on-install-779164449.html?_ga=2.5364404.603978317.1506388737-1410502379.1479931360 Also review the upgrade notes for 6.2 and 6.3. How was your pre upgrade health check of the system?

What are you using as an authentication source? Confluence has 3rd party add-ons already created for user authentication. For example SAMl

Anything else in the log files? Did you document and resolve any file changes that the installer warned as changed during the upgrade? Have you checked things like JVM (java memory) to see if that reset below your instance thresholds or run a full index?

Hi Joshua, You can do a lot to the banner in Jira. It takes html and other java. The caveat is that if you put bad code in the banner, you may take down jira until you remove the code manually from the backend. See for example to resolve this problem:…

Is it a clean installation on a new server or has it been installed and removed a few times. When confluence starts, can you add the license key through the admin panel to pull it out of trial?

Take a look at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-configure-notifications-for-breached-slas-in-jira-service-desk-777027020.html

Where did you see this? Jira Suite Utilities just went payware from free add-in recently. The free version is marked incompatible with higher versions of Jira, for example 7.5. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.googlecode.jira-suite-utilities/server/overview
-
This would be under issues drop down menu, under search for issue. To see the resolved column, select columns drop down tick and select "resolved". the query (JQL) i have here is just resolution before or equal to the current time.
-
Try: https://www.clearhub.tech/ There's freelance workers there with varying levels of expertise.
-
boards are simply a view of the project. You can have a sprint board and kanban board, no issue there.
-
so use resolutiondate in the jira query. for the column to select to see it select resolved.

I don't think you'll replace Word necessarily with confluence function for function. Sharepoint has been debated many times. In our org, we keep Sharepoint, purely as a document management system. Confluence does all the rest - run books, projects, on screen documentation, collaborative share. Word, is in my opinion,…

little more info needed, version jira, what are the hosts os's, what's the database running on. What do the jira logs say? :)
