Hi @Glen Young , As far as I know the standard charts do not support dynamic tables (Jira Issues, Page Properties Report, reused tables via Excerpt Include macro). You may turn to this thread and ask your question here. If you use the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app (that is our add-on), you may reuse the source…

Hi @Kenichi Abe , Thank you for mentioning our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app! You may also read about our Table Spreadsheet macro here.
-
Hi @meetinghouse , Confluence Cloud doesn't allow bodied macro nesting - maybe that is your problem. For example, to nest macros provided by the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, we designed the Table Toolbox macro. As I understand from your case, you need to nest several macros belonging to different vendors. So…
-
Hi @Chii , Please define what macros you use inside the Table Transformer macro? It seems that they are not our macros and that they are not standard Confluence macros as well. Maybe it is coming from this app from another…

Hi @Joseph Law (Contegix) , Thanks for the mention of our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app (the 1st and 2nd screenshots)! Were happy to find it in your summary.
-
Hi @Emil , Again it's possible to use CASE WHEN conditions in the Table Transformer macro if your have the field visible in the source table. If you see your group names, then you may count how many assignees belong to each group, how many time each group is mentioned, etc. How to extract the list of users and user groups…

If you could retrieve the required fields in the separate table/tables, then the Table Transformer may help you to merge the master table with additional tables using, for example, the linked issue keys as unique IDs for merging. You may check this two similar threads:…
-
Hi @Emil , Not sure what you mean - the Table Transformer macro works with the output of the Jira Issues macro. Which fields you see in the table returned by the Jira Issues macro, that fields will be "seen" by the Table Transformer macro. The Table Transformer macro alone does not pull any data from Jira.

Hi @Denise , You may visit the links that we've provided above, discuss them with your colleagues and your Confluence administrator and start with a free trial of the apps. You may build structure for several projects and see if the result is satisfactory for your goals (which app suits you more). Maybe you'll get more…
-
Yes, you are right: SELECT DISTINCT * FROM T* The duplicate rows will be dropped.
-
Hi @Giuseppe Ferrazzo , Do you mean another Confluence space by the "site"? If that is so, we can suggest using our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app. You'll be able to filter your table with the help of the Table Filter macro and then reuse your filtered table in other spaces (or pages in the same space) via the…

We've read the thread again and it seems that maybe we misunderstood the case: maybe you need not the unique uids for the Client column but to prevent users from entering the same client names? I mean not to add different uids to John Smith if you have them twice in your table (earlier we assumed that they are different…
-
And you may also check the NEWID and GEN_RANDOM_UUID functions, they work pretty similar to the UUID function.
-
If you mean that the generated uids should be unique, then it seems that the UUID function for the AlaSQL library serves this purpose. Here is its description: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/uuid-function-in-mysql/ And you may at first reuse your tables and collect them into one master table with the help of the Table…

Oh, yes - the Jira fields might be translated differently for different languages, didn't think about it at the moment. Glad you solved the issue!
-
It's a strange behaviour for Firefox, we try to support it. Please check if you have its latest version installed, then check if the app's version is up-to-date (the current one is 8.6.1). If the issue persists, please create a support request. Attach the page storage format (upper right corner, menu ..., view storage…

I don't think that the PIVOT function supports multiple aggregation under one command. So you may use several Table Transformer macros and repeat the original query with different column names and conditions.
-
Hi @Emily Berg , I've been also puzzled with the case, but our developers found a solution using the PIVOT table function: SELECT * FROM ( SELECT * FROM T1 LEFT JOIN T2 ON T2.'Index' = 2 ) PIVOT (FIRST('Key') for 'Header Key') Seems that I've got your case right from the screenshot: we go to the second table, use a…

Thank you! I'll pass your feedback about the app to the team. :)

It seems that the case is more simple - don't change anything in the SQL query and just choose the Look Up preset. Here is my example with one stable table (and it doesn't require the KPI column, the Month column is enough) and three mini-tables (let's pretend that they are generated by other internal Table Transformers):…
-
Hi @Esteban Borja Lopez , These two tables can't be merged together in a proper way. The first Merge preset that you choose merges the tables with similar headers: |Col 1 |Col 2 | |A |12 | |B |14 | + |Col 1 |Col 2 | |C |23 | |D |44 | = |Col 1 |Col 2 | |A |12 | |B |14 | |C |23 | |D |44 | The second Look Up preset merges…

Thank you for reaching out! Indeed the Space/Confluence administrator will be able to assign the required permissions for you.
-
Maybe the UUID function will do for the case? SELECT UUID(T1.'Col 1') AS 'UID', * FROM T*
-
Hi @Kuber V , Please clarify your case for me to check - you want the Client column to be unique without any duplicates? To serve like a kind of UID for each table entry? Maybe we can just add the number of the current row to the contents of each cell in the Client column? For example, you have John Smith both in the…
-
Hi @Leona Vo , You may close the whole page for editing. If the user can't go to the edit mode, he/she won't be able to enter the Table Transformer macro settings. Or you may close a separate page that contains only your Table Transformer macro and reuse the result table on another page with the help of the Table…

It seems that you didn't change the initial query: the difference is in pluses vs commas. For example, this query colors the background but ruins links: SELECT FORMATWIKI("{cell:bgColor=" + CASE WHEN T1.'Col 2' = 10 THEN "#b3ff99" ELSE "#ffffff" END + "}" + T1.'Col 1' + "{cell}") AS 'Col 1' FROM T1 And this query colors…
-
Hi @Emil , Please check this part of our documentation - the "Preserving initial cell formatting" section. Seems that it may help (the difference is in pluses and commas for the same FORMATWIKI query).

Hi @Holly Perry , Please check this part of our documentation - the "Preserving initial cell formatting" section. Seems that it should help your case.

Hi @Bhushan Jain , We can suggest trying our free course related to Confluence Cloud and its tables. Maybe you and your colleagues will find it helpful - please check this link.

Don't worry, your last message got through to Nikita, as for now he is working with our developers regarding your issue - you'll get an update soon.
