You can for example set up a separate training space meant for them and utilize Apps - like Pathways for Confluence - to create a Web-Based Trainings from the content created there. It can be rated and measured for every and each new user. Also, if you pair it with Announcement Feeds app developed by CoreSoft Labs, you can…

Thanks @Vero Rivas, I'm glad that you like it! Hope that you can use either our crude Jira-Confluence solution or Idea Hub App itself :)

Just in case - it's here! https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1223686/

Hello @Robby Holtmann_IntraFind Software AG_ - I think that Q2-Q3 2021 is the most probable answer. As far as I know the Data Center version is prioritized.
-
Hello @Jeff Rockett - our company, CoreSoft Labs, is currently working on a product called Idea Hub, which will feature separate portals for Idea Management and later implementation of these ideas. The app is already pre-approved by Atlassian, so you should be expecting release within weeks. If you don't want to miss a…

You need to pay for Confluence license, though it doesn't necessarily need to be big, as the unlicensed Service Desk users don't count towards the total license count in Confluence. The smallest deployment is just enough for the JSD users to be able to read all the articles in the Knowledge Base. You'll need a license for…

If you're looking for more advanced SLA options that these available in a standard JSD module, I'd give SLA PowerBox a try.

If you're looking for blog roll, then go for Blog Posts macro https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/blog-posts-macro-139470.html For individual posts see the post above.

Hi, it won't be one-time without using a Marketplace App (like this one for Jira). Here's how you can do it - https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-add-a-site-wide-banner-165609599.html The other alternatives are as the colleague above said - sidebar, header, footer on the dashboard welcome section.
-
Just saying, if you want to avoid scripting and make your workflows more automatic, we have an App for that - it's called Workflow PowerBox and it does a lot of magic.
-
I'm 99% certain that restrictions still apply, so if you limit the access in Confluence it should stay limited on JSD side. At least that's how it works in server deployment...
-
To be honest I've never seen such a button in Confluence. You sure this is not some kind of App?
-
There shouldn't be any problem in such a setup. The rules for Confluence-JSD integration are actually pretty simple: If someone has access to JSD and Confluence, he will be able to access the knowledge base articles in JSD and create requests. If someone hasn't got access to JSD and has access to Confluence, he won't be…

You can set up as many anchors as you want, just remember to give each an individual name. But yeah, as Thomas commented before me, ToC can be more convenient for that :)
-
By external users you mean all the other AD users, or users that don't have an account in AD?
-
I guess that you could e.g. sync the service desk project with another Jira project via Backbone app tied to one of the agents, but that's a quite big workaround.
-
Is it possible that he or someone else by accident removed the create issue permission from his project role?
-
Are you using Headings properly? It seems to me that you have everything written in paragraphs, so the TOC macro can't get any input.
-
Hello, you should create a sub-page under which all the IT articles will be stored and limit the visibility of this page (and therefore all the child pages, too) to the IT department user group. Also, use labels to differentiate between one type of content and another.

Hello @Taranjeet Singh , thank you! I'm glad you liked it :) By the way, if you of any of your Customers is interested in more great Jira knowledge, we're hosting a free online conference in 2 weeks. You're most welcome to join :)

You're welcome :)

Hi, I guess that you've put a screen on every transition. It's a good practice (as seen in this article), but if it's annoying your users, you can re-configure your workflow. Here's the general instruction how to edit and add screen:…
-
The easiest workaround will be to create a new how-to article template and delete the default one. The page should stop re-appearing then :)
-
Edit - sorry, I didn't notice that you use the Cloud hosting.
-
Only when using a template (by using the Variable element). Besides that only 3rd party apps allow that.
-
By adding a new issue type :) https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/adding-editing-and-deleting-an-issue-type-844500747.html
-
You've most probably forgot to set up a resolution using a screen on transition to the "Resolved" status. Here's a short guide how to do it: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/fixing-issues-with-jira-resolutions-826873866.html

Maybe someone modified the customer notification scheme to be off by default? Or it is just one customer?
-
Hi, this should be doable with our app - SLA PowerBox. The question is - are you using server or cloud hosting?
-
There shouldn't be any problem in reusing fields between projects.
