@Tristan Peirce try using your username instead of your email to login

@Ash Pitt you're assigning yourself to the checklist item, not to the card. They're separate things. The Butler sub-tasking article you're referring to was written before Advanced Checklists existed, but the assignment of a checklist item doesn't automatically carry through to the linked card. This Trellinator code would…
-
@Joseph you couldn't do this logic in Butler but this Trellinator code would do it: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/bcbd3707aa233eb68d1c966ceec0b142 You can read more about Trellinator here:…
-
@Lefteris Drosos it looks like you might be an observer of the board in the first screenshot
-
@Matt Geerdes if you have an iPhone you can do this using a Siri automation + Butler. You can have a Siri automation run when you connect to a particular wifi network, and you can trigger that to create a card with a particular name in a particular list. You can then use Butler to trigger when that card with that name is…
-
@Mike you can't do anything in Butler like "if only one member is assigned" but this is what the Trellinator would look like to do what you need: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/a0e41549380a9613dfd557b5163d086b You can read more about Trellinator here:…
-
@Sid Vanam you have joined the team, but that doesn't mean you're a member of all boards in that team. If you look at the top of the board you should see a join button.
-
@V Linsley the issue is that you have 2 accounts, both with the same name and people are inviting your other account. Just delete the hotmail one. I recommend people invite either by exact username or email address anyway, because it's quite risky otherwise as it's quite easy for people to accidentally invite a complete…

@Anand Kashyap the api limits in Trello are all rate limits, as such it might take time but as long as you space out your api calls it will still finish. The thing that has limits on number of command runs is Butler.
-
@Yair Adi You can send the email to the Zapier Email Parser and then re-send it from another email address using Zapier, formatting it differently. If you use my product BenkoDesk you can also send emails directly from Trello cards by posting a comment to the card, and then the replies will go straight to the card:…

@Matt Geerdes what constitutes "clocking someone in"? Where is the information recorded?
-
@Craig Walker there are 2 different "searches" in Trello, one that used to be called "filtering" (which is the one you're referring to) and one that is searching cards on all boards: https://help.trello.com/article/972-filtering-vs-searching
-
@Seema.Gondkar also check out this series being created by our very own Brittany Joiner: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/What-is-a-Trello-card/ba-p/1602732
-
@Anand Kashyap there is no way to do it in bulk, the Zapier action is probably just looping through and doing it one by one.
-
@V Linsley they're probably inviting you by username rather than email. Get them to type out your full gmail address when adding you to the board, you'll probably find that you have 2 accounts, one of which was created a long time ago
-
@Mahir sounds like you've inadvertently enabled a filter on your board, just click the little "x" in the top right: https://help.trello.com/article/787-filtering-cards-on-a-board
-
@V Linsley when you click on your profile picture in Trello in the top right which email address shows there?
-
@Pierre France you can use a hash sign to add a label to a card when emailing it, and you can use Butler to sort emails into lists based on labels when emailed to the board. I also have a product that lets you connect a board up to a Gmail account which allows you to map Gmail labels to specific lists in Trello, so if you…
-
@bluearrowtelematics can you describe what it is people need to see when they look at the board and why? The way that filters can be combined is pretty limited, but there may be a different way to achieve what you're trying to do.
-
@Heather Zbinden Here's a one off Trellinator piece of code that will do this kind of update: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/b4bd9b62ac819bf9fe3c92d1ff62369a You can update the checklist names etc. and run it in BenkoBot here: https://app.benkobot.com/ Here's another example where a checklist item is added in a "main…
-
@Stuart Harper so you would like to automatically link an issue created for a given asset, to the asset card in question? This Trellinator function would do it, assuming that the asset numbers are consistently formatted: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/27b49e836a2bf4fa5a31e403fbdb050a I did something similar for a…
-
@M. Kooremans what information do you want about each card and what format do you want them exported to?
-
@[deleted] which forms are you referring to? Trello doesn't have a form feature natively.
-
@[deleted] were you using Google to sign into Trello before?
-
@Laíse Lourenço something like this would do it:
-
@Rosko yep BenkoBoard and BenkoDesk are basically the same product, but BenkoDesk works for any member of the board and you typically run it through a "bot" account, whereas BenkoBoard is for individuals and you would typically run it through your own Trello account (it also comes with a specific productivity workflow…
-
@Valentin Doche the start date is relatively new feature, typically they'll roll it out gradually, your team mates will get it soon!
-
@Beth Reitz you can do this most flexibly with a Butler rule that will do something like:
-
I wrote this article a while back, it's still one of my main automations: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Trello-Subtasks-with-Butler/ba-p/1060392
-
@Laíse Lourenço yep you can configure notifications for due dates at the time, 1 day prior and so on. This will send an email if the user has email notifications enabled. Alternatively you could have a Butler rule that fires X days/hours before a due date and sends an email to all card members for example.
