@mbarber148 you could use this Butler command to keep track: when a card is moved into list "Done", find a card titled "{username}" in list "Report", and increase the number in custom field "Completed" by 1
-
@Daniele Semeraro this Trellinator function would allow you to sum the minute and second values from a custom field value called "Time" whenever a card is moved into a list and set the name of the first card in the list to the sum: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/dcaa9d432bd5b7fbb6800bd16afa0a59 You can run it via…
-
@Lucy Hollister as @milynnus mentioned you can add multiple filter conditions and these should "and" together, you can also use regular expressions like this: "regex:/.*(one|two|three).*/" for an OR condition (or any other regular expression pattern match)
-
@WG Trello Admin there isn't using Butler alone, but you can use Butler to email a Zapier email parser then modify the message based on information sent in the original email and send it out through something like Gmail: https://parser.zapier.com/ I also have a product that would let you create emails from your board by…
-
@Leo Yelizarov my products BenkoBoard and BenkoDesk do that: http://www.benkoboard.com/ http://www.benkodesk.com/
-
@butler groupe you can either do something like this: when the "{*} (next: {*})" item is checked, add member @{wildcard2} to the card then you just put the next username at the end of each checklist item: This is the item text (next: nextusername)
-
@Gustaf Terning you can just go to the board with your other account, and invite your main account via email: https://help.trello.com/article/717-adding-people-to-a-board
-
@Tom Matthews oh right, well you can't do that :) If I wanted to keep a record of multiple customers in a tabular fashion like this I'd just link to a Google Doc from the card with the customer values for that feature request.
-
@iroman nope, Butler always acts as the user who created the rule.
-
@inbound Riyadh can you try logging in via id.atlassian.com?
-
@Tom Matthews I don't understand this: We've got Custom Fields enabled, but it's a single custom field for each columns, and if I have 3 customers requesting a feature it very quickly gets confusing if they're all combined. You can have one custom field for each piece of info you want to collect then your staff can type…
-
@Tom Mililli you can actually get those features via Atlassian Access: https://www.atlassian.com/software/access
-
@Caitlin F there's no official "template list" functionality but copying a list works the same. The only real difference between a copying a Trello card and having a Trello card template is that Trello card templates can be archived and you can still easily create new cards from them.
-
@Massimo De Franceschi if the labels are on the cards, but don't have a colour, they won't show on the front of the card. You can edit labels to give them a colour. You can also choose whether or not to show the label name as well as the colour by either clicking on the colour or hitting the ";" (semi-colon) key on your…
-
@Kerry Stokes you could just create 4 different Butler rules like: when a card is moved into list "Blah" add member "newassignee" so each person does their work and then moves the card to the next list.
-
@Michael Spears well look at that, I'd never even heard of a GIF battle but here's a template: https://trello.com/b/Z07yg0BA/gif-battle-game
-
@danny there are a few ways to trigger an email immediately. One is to use Butler to send an email containing the required information into the Zapier email parser, then extract the information you want to send out of the inbound email and send out the actual email from the service you want to use like Gmail. It doesn't…
-
@Ann Camilla Kolstrup you've enabled a filter, you can either hit the "x" key on your keyboard or click the little white "x" next to where it says "search results" in the top right
-
@Manuel Wanskasmith feel free to post your solution!
-
@Tammi Rettig probably what happened is that you have created a shortcut that Siri is mistaking for your trying to use the Trello app to do something, rather than running a user defined shortcut. Try naming the shortcut "Create Trello Card".
-
@Jeff Bean yes, it is the same. The link card is really just a presentation layer that makes the front of a card look different if it's a link to a Google Doc. It's the same with a "board link". If you create a card with a link to a board, you see a representation of that board on the front of a card. However if you add…
-
@Bailey Brown could be a lot of things. If you know who set it up for you in the first place you can get in touch with them, otherwise I can help you but I've reached the limits of the support I can provide for free in an unrelated product forum ;) feel free to email me on team@benkoworks.com
-
@Bailey Brown well if it's a trigger that was running in Google Apps Script, then it's probably a form submit trigger. These do spontaneously disappear from time to time, and it's a bug that has been causing frustration in the Google Apps Script community for the past 6 years. You can check by opening your spreadsheet and…
-
@Daniela Rader you can see a description of what constitutes a "command run" and what constitutes an "operation" here: https://help.trello.com/article/1181-butler-features-and-quotas on the free plan, each person gets 50 command runs and 500 operations per month, for commands that they themselves set up. So if you create a…
-
@Jeff Bean since the only data in a link card is the link, if you were to attach a link card to another card it would be no different from attaching the link to the card. So you can just attach the google drive doc link to the card. If you want to copy the link from the link card in order to attach it somewhere else, you…
-
@Kenneth R Moore there's no way to do this from Butler, I can't find any way to "add all board members" to a card and while there is a cardmemberusernames variable, there is no boardmemberusernames variable. This Trellinator function will do it: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/d91065f68ee532f95ccf7e3aa0b38a86 in…
-
@Bailey Brown when you write stuff to a Google Sheet, it's added to Trello either via a trigger in Google Apps Script, or by some other automation such as Zapier. Do you know which automation was being used to create the Trello cards?
-
@Patricia Gallego you can use command libraries and then enable a set of commands for each new board: https://help.butlerfortrello.com/article/50-command-libraries
-
@Francesca Cornick You have some more advanced administrative controls through Business class, but you can also use Atlassian Access to have SSO for your organisation: https://www.atlassian.com/software/access
-
@Chris Marsden every comment has a little "reaction" box at the bottom where you can add smileys to it, I usually ask people to give me a thumbs up when they've read something but no response is required
