  • @שי - משרד sure does!
  • @Cat Mouland nup, can't delete comments that were copied from another card (not even with the API!)
  • @Steve also note that if you are a BenkoBoard user: http://www.benkoboard.com/ Then comments added by your own Butler user that tag yourself will actually put a notification card in your Inbox list (BenkoBoard is my product, it also lets you use Trello as a Gmail client but that's optional).
  • @Peter Erlebach here is my "project business basics" setup: You have one "Sales Contacts" board, with the Crmble power up enabled. This represents the customer journey through from initial contact to production. Then you have a "Tickets" board which is where individual requests and communications are processed. You then…
  • @edesen have you disabled the powerup in the board? Also you can revoke the token from within your Trello settings: https://help.trello.com/article/1183-revoking-a-trello-token However also note that Cardbox will have had to go through a very rigorous security assessment to get the ability to connect to Gmail directly. I…
  • @Steve this command will notify the person who's user name is in the checklist item with a comment when the checklist item is completed: when the "{*}@{*}" item is checked, post comment "@{wildcard2} {wildcard1} is done!" However just be aware that if it's you who sets up the rule, then you won't be notified because the…
  • @Matt Page you can actually use regular expressions directly in Butler, can you post your existing rule that's working?
  • @שי - משרד you can search by comment using a modifier like this: comment:"phrase to search for" More info here: https://help.trello.com/article/808-searching-for-cards-all-boards
  • @Anthony Stinson if you're using Crmble, I recently updated the integration for Crmble into my BenkoDesk product which lets you run a shared email inside Trello: http://www.benkodesk.com/ If your contact details are in the Crmble contact details, you can post a comment like this: @to crmble Here is a subject line Here is…
  • @Lori Werner the best way to resolve this sort of depends on what sorts of changes you want to synch. Do you want to simply make it so that when you create a new card in a list, the corresponding card is created in all lists on boards that have used this template? Or do you want to synch changes to existing cards?…
  • @Camila Garbin probably what you have is an automation that triggers on card creation. You can usually resolve this by adding a label to cards you create automatically, and then adding a filter to the rule that triggers when cards are created, to only react when a card is created without that label.
  • @Bo Hu hey I don't think you can get this natively, but I have a product called BenkoBoard that centralises all your notifications in a single Inbox list, and allows you to set up rules for which list those notifications go into based on source board. It also lets you use Trello as a Gmail client but that's optional:…
  • @[deleted] yeah I'm not sure about deleting a product from a user's Atlassian account, as opposed to deactivating the account altogether. I'm pretty sure if you deactivate it in Trello, it won't deactivate the Atlassian account, but again I don't have an Enterprise account to test with. My guess is that the Trello API will…
  • @Casyn Smith pretty easy to do with Trellinator code running on our BenkoBot platform, here's some code for you to install (you'll be able to preview it before you save -- make sure you edit the names of your workspaces at the top): https://trello.com/c/sju1sktT/51-for-each-board-in-old-workspace-copy-to-new-workspace You…
  • @Babs Noelle that command looks correct, have you tried with differently named items/list etc.? Like for example can you create a checklist item called "test" and trigger like: when the "test" item is checked post comment "checked" and start from something that simple and build it up? Also check the Usage Log for errors:…
  • @Dhruva urs There is no time limit on the free version. The only constraint is that free workspaces can only have a maximum of 10 boards. Additionally you get access to various additional features if you upgrade to a Business Class Workspace.
  • @Marguerite what about a card button called "Repeat 3 months" which copies the card 3 times to successive months? You could add more than 3 obviously, you could make it replicate out 12 months if you wanted, or you could have a few buttons for 3, 6 and 12 months. If the lists don't exist yet, then they will be created…
  • @CJ Oravec we've set up master board workflows quite a bit. I think the key thing that I've seen most clients want that they can't achieve using 3rd party tools is the need to control what is synched up, when and how. For example, the process that an ad goes through might involve lots of different list movements, internal…
  • @Casyn Smith Hmmm so you want to take all boards in a workspace and copy those boards to a new workspace?
  • @Tony what constitutes a task being time critical?
  • @Trecia The 10 board limit is open boards *per workspace*. You can have as many closed boards per workspace as you like, and reopen closed ones if you close an open one. You can have as many workspaces as you like. So if you have 10 workspaces each with 10 boards you'd have 100 boards, and those could all be free…
  • Oh right I misread that as "do I need to close or delete them" rather than "am I able to only close them rather than delete them". Oops!
  • @Alisia Robinson If you're showing up as virtual, that means they probably invited you to the board using an email address that is different from the one you use to Trello. You probably received an invitation to the board, which means you can click it and see the board, but you can't interact with it because you haven't…
  • @Program Director I noticed this the other day, I think it's a recent change that you can't have an admin of a board who is not an admin of the workspace to which the board belongs.
  • @Trecia Yep, but you can also create an additional free workspace and move the boards to that: https://help.trello.com/article/752-changing-the-workspace-to-which-a-board-belongs
  • @KOHESION No the Dropbox power up allows you to search Dropbox and attach files to the card as a link. If you want to upload a file directly to Dropbox when it's attached to a card you need to automate that with the API, I've done something similar in the past for a client on Drive, if you want you can get in touch and I…
  • @[deleted] okay so if you "select all" there do you not see the ability to deactivate them as a group? It is possible to deactivate members of an enterprise via the API: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-enterprises/#api-enterprises-id-members-idmember-deactivated-put and also to delete members…
  • @LouPhi to answer your questions: > How many Workspaces can we have? I currently have 2: 1 personal with 23 boards (soon 10) + 1 company where i have 1 guest (a freelancer) with 2 boards. > a) how many workspaces can we have (free)? You can have unlimited Workspaces. > b) can i create 2 personal workspaces? meaning…
  • @Michael Pryor We never had a setting that only allowed you to add yourself. What I was referring to was a short period during the transition to workspaces where "personal boards" could only have yourself as a member, that is you didn't have to have boards as members of a "team" as they were called at the time, but if you…
  • @Janusz Siodmiak So what's happened is that you've gone through the process of moving all your boards (I assume more than 10) into a single workspace, which has commenced a business class trial because the maximum boards per free workspace is 10. However, you can just redistribute your boards to other workspaces, you can…
